Goodbye, Asshat: 101 Farewell Letters to Donald Trump (101 Rude Letters to Donald Trump Book 4)
by Aldous J. Pennyfarthing
This guy makes me laugh so hard! He has a way of expressing everything just perfect! I giggled and laughed out loud! Parts made me angry at you know who again but then I was able to get my frustration out but continuing to read!

He has an Epilogue 4.5 for this out. I just read it. It's free. I didn't see it listed as a book. His newsletter sent me to his site and downloaded it there! Again, it is hilarious! A brief update and his hope it's the last time he has to write to him! I just love this author!

A recap of trump’s sad last year in office. In reply to the various mistakes Trump makes, the author writes letters as to his action. Nasty letters, but truthful.

This is my last anti-trump book. I need to close this horrible chapter on these last 4 horrible, corrupt years.

A Fitting End

Pennyfarthing concludes his Grumpy truth telling with this final volume which concludes as the subject of the series loses re-election to Joseph R Biden.

While like all of his Pennyfarthing novels, Goodbye can stand on its own. And is an enjoyable but disturbingly eye opening read. However, I strongly recommend readers look into the three previous volumes, as the four together create an astounding indictment of one man's incredible ignorance and ineptitude, and possibly that of many of our nations voters. It's part comedy part horror show. But a must read for anyone wanting a fairly accurate depiction of 45.

I'm sure this will be the last in the series, however the time between the election and inauguration would probably supply another book's worth of letters excoriating the twice impeached's stupidity.

The chronological order of the all the gaffes committed by DJTrump are answered brilliantly with hilarious letters to the soon to be ex-president.
It should be in everyone’s collection that strives for a better America & world.

Entertaining, alarming and sad, all at the same time

I am glad I found this little book because it gave me some fair points to indicate that I have not completely lost the final few cards in my deck. Aldous J. Pennyfarthing touches on all of the head shaking, gutwrenching , drama laden, and farcial recognition of Trump's ability to inspire fear and loathing from most American citizens who have been constantly inundated with the repugnant and malignant utterances from "dear leader" for the past five years, ever since he first rode the golden escalator to toss his wiggy-looking head and hat into the ring of politics and public corruption. In my little world I simply don't think the game of public office holding is a concept that attracts more people with good and selfless intent than it does those who seek only to enrich themselves and others. In that I will be the first to admit I am hopelessly naive. I always thought those who sought out public service were somehow just a tiny bit in need of not just a good job but
also in need of some serious soul searching and maybe some basic fears of reality gone amok and really off course. Reading this little book brought me back to square one as a primer in which no one ever does exactly what they say they are going to do while also doing the exact opposite as . DJT told America he was going to be a good thing someone who would change the way politics would forever be played out in our country. And we wanted so badly to believe in someone or something that could bring about a change that we fell for his BS, hook, line and sinker. For a while that is. And after the glow wore off, and the tarnish became visible we realized how foolish and gullible we'd become. It felt as though no one could make any of it better, that we were damned doomed destined for destruction in more ways than we could ever have imagined. Until Pen eyfarthing came along and lightened things up for us. I'd been rat dismayed and disheartened until I read the first of the three books. Once smittened, forever in love. These books made me laugh, cry ( a bit) and take heart that there was going to be a way out for us we just had to patient and hang on for a really bumpy ride. Well that's exactly what it has been but I'm not willing to open up a small vein anymore. I'm pretty sure I can tough it all out and wait for the day when the F- witt in chief gets voted out of office and America returns to an easier and less hateful time. To a time when people start to care about each other again. To a time when Americans begin to work together toward mutually beneficial goals and systems. "Dear Ass hat" isn't great literature but it is great fun. Imaginative and very droll. A good way to rule out t pain and stress of the last five years and get ready for an administration of adults not children. And as much as I enjoyed reading it I must confess I am more than ready to move on and get my head back into that special time when no matter how the changes come across they will always be much better than anything that has come before. I have waited long enough. Penny farthing says it's a time for peace, prosperity and poetic justice. I'm ready too. This little book brought back the way out of the nightmare. It just doesn't get any better than that!

Pennyfarthing should win Pulitzer!

This is Pennyfarthing’s fourth book for me. All are must reads! For those whose sanity, like mine, is approaching the abyss, Pennyfarthing’s work provides, as my shrink would call it, a “safe place” to vent rage, release aggression, and discover that the Asshat has not yet achieved his goal: that of snatching my body and mind. At least not permanently! Pennyfarthing often has been all there was between me and the asylum. Can’t wait for #5…I have no doubt that, unfortunately for everyone, Donald Trump will continue to lurk among us!

Quite a book

This book is a gentle slap in the face reminding all Americans to not take our Republic for granted. Trump did horrible things to our country and culture. Never forget!

Dated but excellent. Pennyfarthing is a wonderfully snarky writer and he does not hold back on trump. The format is to give a series of days where trump did some jacked-up thing and then write a letter to trump in response. It was sort of staggering to go back through the history of that time and see just how bad trump was and the boneheaded, evil, and stupid things he did as president. It continues to totally mystify me that millions of people support that narcissistic, conceited, stupid (he is cunning but not smart), and just plain evil person. Good for lots of snarky laughs.

Nothing But The Truth

Although told with amazing wit, this (and his other books) are amazingly on target missives about the single worst human I have ever heard of. (Behind Hitler, naturally, but that always goes without saying, doesn’t it?). I have laughed so hard , my sadly right- wing husband gets angry and leaves the room. If I could give as many stars to honor the victims of COVID and dead soldiers, I would.

Scary hilarious. Few books will leave you terrified for our country while at the same time leaving you laughing. Aldous J. Pennyfarthing has done just that. He accurately recounts actual conversations and deeds of our former and wanna-be future president Trump. The "letters" that are written in response to Trump's actions are representative of what non-MAGA people are screaming in their heads. Pennyfarthing's creative vocabulary is the icing on the cake!

I've read all you're books about trump despite all the awful things documented there you're humour shined through in the last one. Thanks. I had been so depressed like most democrats now I can take a deep breath and smile.

AJP can still make me laugh

Reminds me of a line from Christmas Story...
My old man worked in profanity the way other artists work in oils and pastels.
I recommend him whole heartedly.

Cathartic. Added several words to my vocabulary as well.

The author 's humor helped mitigate my PTSD due to this (ex) presidency. Would have enjoyed pennyfarthing' s summary of Trump 's January "legacy".

You made the last 4 years bearable. Thank you! I haven't laughed so much, except for the last book I read from you. Going to buy all of your frumpy orange boy books since the last two were awesome!

Terrific

Best, and funniest book I've read in a long time! Worth every penny and much more, it soothes the leftover hurt and irritation caused by the orange buffoon not yet being locked behind bars.

Read it

Read all four in this series. I agree whole heartedly. Not only did it remind me why I did not vote for he who shall not be named, but in my 83 years I can never remember a pres as bad as this one. Besides these books enhanced my vocabulary. Thanks to the author

Definitely a must read!

Keeps all the insanity we went through, in a readable timeline. Plus he says what we all were thinking but couldn't but into words as clever and funny!
