I received a free advance copy of this book. This is the seventh book in the Enigma series and this one lived up to my expectation of a well written story that grabbed my interest on page one and breathlessly held onto it until the last page. I was first introduced to Tessa Scott in book one, who is an ordinary housewife blessed with an abundance of common sense and a quick wit. In this latest book Tessa finds herself surrounded by the beauty and mystery of Russia, as she assists the Egnima team in freeing hostages and thwarting a plan to change the balance of military power. The story has enough excitement to keep your adrenaline pumping, enough humor to give you a laugh and a little romance to give you a warm spot in your heart. I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting a fictional escape of adventure and intrigue with a heroine you're going to love.

Invisible Goodbye is a wonderful way to continue the Enigma series. Tessa still seems to be in almost over her head, Captain Hunter still tries to protect Tessa. What a surprise when a shadowy character from her past re-emerges to sweep her away. Danger follows them everywhere. Once I picked up this page-turner, I could hardly put it down. I love that a true modern incident is the background for the story and the ending is perfect and gives hope for another book in the series.

This book is another action packed thriller in Tierney James’ Enigma series and as with the other 6 books she doesn’t disappoint in pulling the reader into the action. Her books are so visual it makes it very easy for the reader to feel a part of everything that is going on. The characters are so well developed you fall in love with them or hate them depending on what side they are on but in this story there is one character that will tear you apart and that made the book hard to put down.

I've read all of the Enigma series. This latest adventure does not disappoint. Tessa is torn between two, make that three worlds. The one she chooses leads to life-changing reactions she could never anticipate. I must admit, I was getting a little angry with the author. I kept thinking, "oh, no. This can't happen to Tessa," but then she redeemed herself by putting another curve in the road where it was least expected. You'll have to read the novel to see for yourself, but who would think there would be a rollercoaster ride in the middle of frozen Russia"? That's what this latest in the Enigma series becomes.
I can't wait for the next in the series to see what new adventures await these characters. Ms. James has set the bait, and I've taken it, hook, line and sinker.

I forgot to breath!!

I loved this page turner!! I stayed up late to see what happened next and I'm pretty sure there were moments I forgot to breath due to getting caught up in the suspense. I will go back and read the previous books to find out more about these characters and what brought them to these cliff hanging moments.

Loved it!

Awesome! I like action, danger and romance. This book has all three. The best parts are the unexpected twists. I read a lot of books and I really like it when the author can surprise me. This one did just that! Loved it!

I've been a fan of the Enigma books since the first one. Tessa and Chase, along with an array of returning characters, always manage to take me on a whirlwind ride where nothing is off limits. I'd never heard of an invisible plane until I read this book. Leave it to Tierney James to keep up on the latest news to keep her readers in suspense.

This was a re-read for me. I absolutely love the techy thrills in this series! This story was inspired by the true story of a Malaysian airliner that disappeared. What if cloaking technology were real? (BTW - it is. Check out YouTube and be prepared to go down a rabbit hole.) In this book, the Enigma team is tasked with rescuing a bunch of American scientists who have been kidnapped by the Russians and forced to work on cloaking technology. This book has it all: intrigue, adventure, suspense, action and romance. I highly recommend this book, particularly if you enjoy techno thrillers such as those by James Rollins and Matthew Reilly.

I have read all of the books in this series and this title worried me. Invisible Goodbye...I was afraid the author was going to close out this series with this as the last book. HAPPY to see the Enigma Series will continue.
I was a little surprised at the turn this story took, but loved it.
All the books in this series are stand alone, but it is better to read in order. Little mentions that fit in the story, if you haven't read the ones before, but add a little chuckle if you know the incident previous to it.
I'm looking for more from this author, Tierney James.
