Thrust back in time, she’s on a mission to save a good man turned bandit. Joining the notorious outlaws isn't part of the plan.
Becca Wagner quits her job after her ex-husband flaunts his new life at her desk. Before she can beg for her job back, Becca's asked to participate in a dream study with promises of healing. Eager for any distraction, she accepts, but she's given an unusual task: Convince a farmer to accept a crooked sheriff's deal, otherwise he will be killed.
In 1854 Wisconsin, farmer Jonathan Arris turned bandit and carries the burden of guilt. Quitting isn't an option--the bandits murder anyone who escapes. When a frustrating woman inserts herself in his business, it'll take everything he's got to keep them both alive. And when the woman steals his heart, he finally finds a reason to fight back.
Becca must decide between two futures—the present, where she’s jobless but safe, or the past, where she has to risk her life to follow her heart.
If you love sizzling romance, edge-of-your-seat action, time travel, swoon-worthy heroes, and sassy ladies in a small town setting, you'll love Stephanie Flynn's dramatic historical adventure books. Each is a standalone with guaranteed HEA, but an overarching narrative. Best if read in order.
Stephanie Flynn writes action-packed romance filled with adventure, suspense, and danger. She lives in Michigan, USA, with her husband and kids, and she spends her writing time surrounded by a herd of normal cats who bat everything off her desk, including her coffee.
Johnathan Arris was living in a dangerous time in 1854 Wisconsin. Becca was living an unhappy marriage that had just ended in divorce in the Present Day. Kiki appeared and with her magic sent Becca to 1854 to save the life of Johnathan and perhaps fall in love with him. As you read this story, you are introduced to a violent life in 184 with bandits, a crooked sheriff, a lot of violence and true love between two people from very different times. We find out that Becca lost a child as well as a marriage so there is a lot of heartbreak there too. Lots of action keeps the reader engaged and allows the story to flow well. I loved the book.
The third book in the Curator series a well written time travel story. I was not putting this book down until I had finished reading it. Veterinary assistant Becca Wagner goes back in time to 1854 where she meets farmer Jonathan Arris. This story has suspense, drama, danger, time travel, villains, and romance. I enjoyed reading and want to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
New author for me. Book three in the Curator series, Days to Hide, follows Veternarian Assistant Becca Wagner who goes back in time to 1854 where she meets farmer, turned bandit, Jonathan Arris. Now she must decide if she wants to return to the safety of her present time, or risk her life to start something new with Jonathan.
Another wonderful story. It's nice to be able to read a story and find out what happens to the other characters you know. Jonathan and Becca's story is full of love and intrigue. I can hardly wait for the next book
I loved Jonathan and Becca's story, It was wonderful scary but fun, my favorite part was when Jonathan and Brad met. That was great. Thank you Stephanie Flynn.
What a PHENOMENAL sequel to the series! This book was addicting, I couldn’t put it down! The people were true to character, in past and present. Everything from the first two books were tied in nicely, and nothing was left unanswered. LOVE the series and I can’t wait to get started on the next one.
Becca's life was over. She had lost her baby and Brad wanted a divorce. Kiko enters her life and she goes back in time to1853. She has to save Jonathan's life. In the process she falls in love with Jonathan. They fight the sheriff and the bandits and Jonathan is the hero of the area. The townsfolk no longer live in fear.
I felt bad for Becca before this book even started as she was in the prior 2 books. So right away I got into the story and was anxious to see what was going to happen to her. Enjoyed this book and the series.
Becca was transported to the past to save Jonathan. She thought she did and returned to the future. To the past again and joined bandits with Jonathan. Back to the future again and still not done. Last trip to the past and all worked out well.
Sometimes a series gets better, sometimes it doesn't, this one has gotten better with each book! I loved this one, perhaps because she loved to camp, or maybe because she didn't have a perfect body. Loved the part with her ex and the baseball bat! Perfect ending!
The story was good and filled with suspense and action. The time was filled with hateful people, who only cared about themselves. I'm glad it all ended well. I look forward to reading the last book.
It was great to read something different & unusual like time travel through a western story & having a guided tour by Kiko brought excitement while navigating through time with her matchmaking abilities!
