Gah! What a fantastic read! I devoured this book in one sitting!! Couldn’t put it down. Asher is amazing! Firestorm is full of heat, suspense, drama, you name it. I loved it!

Firestorm is the perfect blend of suspense, heat, and emotion all wrapped up in a perfectly paced, entertaining story about two amazing characters with electric chemistry.

What a perfect read for a Saturday afternoon. I started reading and next thing I knew several hours went by. Asher and Evelyn’s story packs so much fire, drama and suspense that you won’t be able to put it down. You get sucked into another fantastic story by this author that has you feeling and experiencing everything with these characters. If you haven’t added this to your reading list you are missing out.

Firestorm is a sexy, adrenaline-packed romance that is hard to put down. I loved meeting Asher's family. His two identical brothers, of course, can't resist playing pranks on unsuspecting victims who know nothing about the triplets. That was probably my favorite scene in the book.
Lots of laughs, a couple tears and a sizzling hot romance in one quick read. I'd love to read any future stories about the La Rouge brothers.

I thoroughly enjoyed Asher and Evelyn's story. The guilt, desperation and sadness of Evie's past jump off the pages. The danger, suspense and attraction when she meets Asher is intense and electrifying. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough, to find out what would happened next, the writing is that engaging. This book really hooked me to the very end. I look forward to reading Brody, Cage and Abbie's stories.

This is Asher and Evelyns story. I felt as if I was in knots reading it. A great storyline with suspense running through it. The lol moments suited the story. Gotta mention we get triplets in this story and they are oh so good.

A Firestorm of Emotions – Double meanings, Triple fun!!
Asher is our fabulous main character – he is older that his two other brothers by two weeks – though they are identical triplets. Evelyn has lost her family and her fiancé. Tired of being a pampered socialite, she has taught herself to become self sufficient and is hiking the Sierra trail.
When the campsite she planned to overnight at is already occupied by a man that gives her the creeps, she takes a selfie which includes him (just in case) and decides to head to the next camping area rather than stay near him. Next thing she knows she awakens surrounded by fire.
Asher fights wildfires, makes wine and is a bit of a rancher. He is the one who finds Evelyn and gets her away from the fire ties to him like a “backpack”. He visits in the hospital, and as she is the most likely suspect in the fire, cares for her as she must stay in the area.
There is danger, intrigue, and fabulous romance. The brothers are an absolute hoot providing much comic relief. This is a definite must-read, I absolutely loved it!

After adoring Cocky Captain by Ellie Masters, I was desperate for more of the author’s work. Cocky Captain was a strong four-star rating, one that almost received a five-star rating, and it left me desperate to see if another of the author’s work could manage to pull a five-star rating from me.
I’ll be honest and say it took a couple of chapters before I was pulled into Firestorm. It was interesting and I was curious to see how the story would develop, but it took a while for the connection to happen. Once it happened, however, I could not put the book down. This became one I had to devour in a single sitting, and I was hooked on every detail. I loved the characters, I loved the story, and I’m desperate for more of the family.
Without a doubt, this is another fabulous read from the author, one I could not get enough. I cannot wait to find out how things play out for the brothers.

Wow fantastic read. A hot, steamy romance which is somewhat different to Ellie's usual style but will pull you you right in. Centred around a hot wine farm owner and firefighter Ash and Evelyn a socialite who is running from her past. Ash and Evelyns journey is far from straight forward, their is journey of insta-love, when Ash rescues Evelyns from a wild bush fire, which Evelyn is then accused of started. Ash doesn't agree and when Evelyn is involved in a second fire, it would seem that Ash is right and in fact Evelyn is the target of someone who wants to kill her. This love story won't disappoint you as you are drawn right into Ash and Evelyns journey, through the twists and turns that Ellie has woven into their road to happiness.

This book is hot, hot, hot from the fires that seem to follow Evelyn to the sizzle between Asher and Evelyn. The family dynamic is wonderful and the reader can feel the love through the words. Abbie is so special and adds a great dynamic to the story. In this book you get three stories in one, a story about firefighting wild fires, a mystery and a love story what more could a reader want? Oh yes there is also a lot of information about firefighting, and about vineyards. A great book.

I am loving all of these Every Day Heroes books!!! This one follows Asher and Evelyn, who very literally light up the page! There's mystery, intrigue, Insta love (which usually isn't my favorite, but it works here) hilarious triplets, some crazy chemistry and a very sweet love! This book really has it all!
Asher is a part time volunteer firefighter, full time rancher, and all around playboy with a heart of gold. After getting out of a relationship he was certain was the one for him, he has no intentions of settling down. But throw in a dangerous forest fire, and being the savior to his 'little backpack' (so adorable) he quickly realizes what he's been missing all along, and is going to fight to keep this woman safely by his side forever.
Evelyn has a heartbreaking past, and did a total 180 with her personality. She is now a hiker and loves the solitude of hiking and being independent. She knows she can take care of herself, but when she's attacked and all the blame points to her for starting a fire that nearly killed her, she's not only doing everything she can to prove her innocence, but she's falling in love with her savior as well!
This book had a nice blend of suspenseful, sexy and funny moments! I loved Evelyn's mishaps with Asher's brothers (and I'm really looking forward to their story) and the chemistry between her and Asher was straight fire -- pun intended.
My only complaint is that I wish there was a bit more of an emotional connection between these two, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy this book, because I did! If you're in the mood for a light and sexy read with some suspense, this is for you!

Firestorm is a book set in The Everyday Heroes World. The story drew me in so much that I can't wait to check out the rest of the series.
This book had everything I love in a good contemporary romance. The pace of the story flowed well and was full of drama and suspenseful moments. The witty banter between the characters was addictive and fun. With just the right amount of steam, this one has it all.
Asher La Rouge and Evelyn Thornton meet under very extreme and dangerous circumstances.
A Firestorm summed them up perfectly for me. One spark was all it took to unleash an uncontrollable wildfire between them.
Their attraction to each other was very intense and all consuming. Let's just say their chemistry was scorching hotttt.
I absolutely loved Asher and his brothers in this book, they just bounced off each other so well and have such a strong bond. Their antics were hysterical, they had me in stitches. I adored Mrs La Rouge and her take charge attitude she was a hoot.
I'm hoping we haven't seen the last of those La Rouge Boys.

This novel is written in K Bromberg's Everyday Heroes World and I'm usually not a reader of fan fiction but I love this author and she was AMAZING once again with Firestorm.
What is better than a hot firefighter? A hot firefighter who is also a rancher/cowboy with not 1 but 2 hot brothers. I love a great story with well developed characters and this has it all in spades. We start off hot right away with a fire, Asher the hero rescuing Evie the damsel in distress and it just rolls from there. I never leave a review and tell the entire storyline/plot because that ruins reading the book, but I will say we have drama, suspense and when these two start that sensual dance.... we get another type of firestorm.
This book is a solid A read for me. I love details that throw me right into the fray but with enough dialogue to keep it fast paced and fresh. Give this hot everyday hero a try and watch how he sizzles with his lady.

Asher is a man of many talents. He is a CEO of the vineyards his family owns, he is a forest fire fighter and he also knows what he wants when he sees it.
Evelyn is a heiress that once she lost everything it made her see the world in a new light. She is now back to basics and hiking and backpacking our beautiful country. When she runs into more than trouble in the mountains and is left smack dap in the middle of a Firestorm she crosses paths with most determined and infuriating man she has ever seen. This is instant for this couple but they have so many obstacles thrown their way. Get ready for chemistry, smolder, angst and suspense !!!

Firestorm is a must read book written by Ellie Masters. This story is set in The Everyday Heroes World by K. Bromberg and packs a punch with the characters, sexy chemistry, suspenseful and angsty story line and pure enjoyment you will experience after finishing this book. Asher La Rouge is a winemaker, rancher, and helitack fireman that is sexy, witty, and a man that goes after what he wants. And Evelyn Thornton is a woman piecing her life back together while solo hiking and learning a new side to herself during her trip. When these two meet it sets off a new firestorm that won't be contained. I loved every minute of reading their story and can't wait for more La Rouge stories.

This is the first time I have read this author and it won’t be the last! She writes and then engaging story with suspense and drama and I absolutely loved it. Asher is a CEO and volunteer firefighter and he protects the surrounding area of his vineyard. Evelyn has walked away from everything her life and is hiking in the mountains when she stumbles upon a man that has poor intentions towards her and knocks her out. She then wakes up surrounded by fire and after saving herself with the assistance of Asher the chemistry between the two is epic. Sparks fly between them but will they be able to solve the mystery of who set the fire before anyone gets hurt?

Firestorm by Ellie Masters was a thrilling, suspenseful story that had plenty of drama, angst and passionate moments between Asher La Rouge and Evelyn Thornton. Ash La Rouge is the CEO of the LaRouge Vineyards and ranch along with his two brothers who happen to be triplets. These brothers are a handful, they constantly are rough housing each other and the banter between them is full of wit as they brag about their conquests and the pranks they pull on the unexpected. Ash happens to also be a volunteer woodland firefighter who answers a call to fight a fire that is out of control and heading towards his ranch and vineyard. Evelyn is a beautiful young heiress who is running from her life that is full of anxiety and pain backpacking and mountain climbing. As she is climbing to her next site, she happens to see a vagrant hiding gasoline soaked cloths around the brush and trees. When she is noticed she tries to talk herself out of a dangerous situation when she is hit from behind and left in a fiery inferno. Hurt and dazed she falls off of the ravine and then digs herself under ground hoping she can outlast the fire. When Ash and his team approach the site, Ash finds that someone may have fallen when he goes to investigate, he finds Evelyn. When these two connect the chemistry between them is hot, electrifying and full of funny sexual innuendos. Ash is drawn to this women and discovers she may be his firestorm and will do all he can to make her his.
Now these two will begin a relationship that is intense and full of passion, but things take a turn when she is blamed for arson. When she confesses to Ash that she lost her whole family along with her fiance on the day of her wedding. Evelyn further explains why she left her past behind and the need to discover herself not caring about material wealth. With Ash's help she asks him to contact Mr. Preston who happens to be her fiance's father for help when she is arrested for arson . But Evelyn is still in danger as she is being stalked and once again is almost killed in another fire at the home she is renting which proves to the authorities that she is innocent of these fires. Now between Ash, his brothers and friends they are trying to find the person who is setting her up and wants her dead. With all of the twists and turns the real culprit makes another attempt on her life as well as Ash's property. Ash may discover that someone close to him has a personal vendetta against him. Let’s start things off with – You Need This Book In Your Life! Tell me, what is not to like about a hometown boy, with a sweet mama and prankster brothers, who keeps his physique looking fine and toned with hard work on the farm, riding horses, and fighting wildfires. Man, oh man did I love Asher. Everyday Heroes are relatable, and delectable, and downright perfect. Asher La Rouge is no exception to this rule - he is absolutely lickable.
I have enjoyed every one of Ellie Masters books, from erotica to dark, from military to music, she really does have a whole repertoire to offer, but Firestorm was the real icing on the cake for me. It just had everything that makes you swoon, makes you twitch, and makes you wish for your very own sexy hero.

The Everyday Heroes books from the K. Bromberg world are the perfect read for those of us who are looking for the boy next door to come sweep us away. I was more than ecstatic to fall in love with Asher’s two brothers and over the moon happy to hear that at least one of them has their own story on the way. Looking forward to Brody and wondering what other pranks he’ll be up to. Maybe Asher will be able to repay the favor and deliver a ‘most embarrassing moment’ to his woman.

Another fantastic addition to the KB Worlds
I am loving these Everyday Heroes World books, and Firestorm is another fantastic addition.
Evelyn finds herself in trouble, leaving her home after tragedy struck, she is hiking in wine country when she wakes up after an attack, only to find herself in the middle of a forest fire. Having some knowledge of the dangers, Evelyn finds shelter to hopefully stay safe until the fire passes. Asher is a firefighter, helicoptered in to the eye of the fire, he is then rappelled down to fight it from within, but when he notices Evelyn’s tracks, his mission changes to preserving life. Upon finding Evelyn, Asher is both angered and impressed at her skilful hiding place, but with the conditions ever changing he has to get her to safety straight away. As soon as Asher sees Evelyn for the first time his body is jolted as if he has found his missing piece, and after plenty of innuendo he has Evelyn strapped to his back so he can safely and easily manoeuvre her, which is how she earns the not so, but actually maybe quite sweet nickname ‘Little Backpack’. As her stay in the hospital comes to an end, Asher is there to meet her to take her on a date, but before he can, she is arrested for starting the fire. With a possible conviction for criminal damage hanging over her head, Evelyn can’t follow through with her plan to leave, so she depends on Asher to prove her innocence as well as finding the actual person responsible for the damage.
Although at times Asher’s constant innuendo and joking irritated me, as well as the constant talk of his past conquests and all the women in town throwing themselves at him, I did like Asher’s character. He went all out for Evelyn, as soon as he knew she was his future, he did everything in his power to keep her safe and make her see things his way, with them ending up together.
I felt the same way about Evelyn, there were things that annoyed me about her, her holding back, then throwing herself at Asher, but overall I thoroughly enjoyed their story. I loved their first morning after when Evelyn finally meets Asher’s brothers, literally getting up close and personal with them by accident.
Another action packed, sizzling, romance added to this series. Grab your copy now.

Asher La Rouge, CEO and volunteer firefighter, not a regular firefighter, one who repels out of helicopters! Enter an unknowing victim, Evelyn, a reformed socialite. "Now I forage and hunt for my own food." She gets caught up in someone's sights and bad things start to happen and she gets blamed for it. If they don't figure out who's doing it, she will be going to jail for a long time.
I love the triplets, their messing with each other, they are grown men, but have a wonderful relationship with each other and their mom, for example, always watch what colour shirts they wear, dishtowel wars, and ask how a mother tells them apart ... "one clipped to short, one a little generous on the left, the other one ... " absolutely hilarious. They also play pranks on unsuspecting people, Evelyn got caught not once, but twice. More than hilarious, you just have to read it.
Total devotion - "Whatever he wants ... It's his. Whatever he needs ... I'll give." This describes the relationship not one way, but on both sides. The author describes it perfectly. I certainly hope there will be a story for Brody and Cage. Totally worth the read and the roller coaster ride you travel on.

Oh my GIDDY AUNT. Firestorm by Ellie Masters is amazing! It is set in the Everyday Heroes World and absolutely does KB Worlds justice!
I will get to the main even imminently, but just wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for Brody and Cage. I adored them and equally wanted to constantly give them slaps upside the head. It was a great ride!
But the real story is with Asher and Evelyn and it was EVERYTHING! From the get go it is action packed and intense and tense and there is chemistry and combustion and heat and sizzle and it was just SO GOOD.
Evelyn is fierce, independent, just trying to find herself after having survived some pretty terrible things, and the obstacles just keep throwing themselves in her path!
And Asher, not only does he have a way with words that definitely sends shivers up and down my spine in the best possible way, but he's alpha, yet completely focused on the woman that catches his eye.
The journey these two take in the book has a lot of twists and turns, but every single moment was thoroughly worth it! If you're looking for an action packed story with a fantastic representation of love and devotion, look no further!
P. S. I know I already mentioned them, but can I please have Cage and Brody's story? And Abbie's?

Ooooohkay. I added this book to my audible library months ago. I started it and the very first warning is that the book is essentially read by AI. I tried the first two chapters and stopped. I HATED the fact there is no emotion, run on inflection (knowing it doesn’t sound like it was written as such), doubled words or sentences and just an awful performance. I wish Audible would NEVER use this tool again. With all that said, I’ve been in the car a lot this week and traveling. So, I pulled my big girl panties up and onward I listened.
The main character Evelyn (Evie) is on a walkabout to figure out her life, more like run away from it. When a freak encounter with a stranger ends up forever changing her life.
Enter Asher. A triplet, rugged woodland firefighter who rescues her from said life changing event. Their chemistry and individual intrigue results in an intimate slow burn that quickly ignites flames in more ways than one.
The smut is perfect if you’re new to this type of reading. And if you’re new to it, do we even really know each other (ha)? But, I’d rate it more at like a very strong NC17 or perhaps an R. The lingo and slang were the only thing that I believed would warrant those ratings.
The author actually did a great job setting up the mystery, but, I figured it out rather quickly. There’s a few other quirky things that I figured out and was like “called it.” As for the romance aspect I’ll give her a solid kudos and pat on the back for that. I feel that a human narrator would’ve made me like this book even more.
There are three brothers (triplets), but I’m not chomping at the bit to read the others. (OH, I forgot - the guy owns a ranch so horses are involved too. Horses, wine and fire … a trifecta)

wild ride
This was like a grab bag of bookish things stuffed into one book. Somehow it all worked together.
Volunteer firefighter-CEO vineyard owner-swoonworthy oldest brother/triplet -Rancher…… is his description.
The setting is Runaway past. Tragic hidden backstory. Secret heiress to millionaire empire. Lost loved one/day be fore wedding tragic accident, former spoiled Socialite that’s now reformed into an impressive outdoorsy hiker independent woman with the former fiance that was her first and only everything so she’s timid.
The spice was a lot of internal monologue of naughty things at the beginning (yearning/angst) and then when the spice finally did happen it was explosive. Their chemistry is best described as BOLD. She’s not timid around him at all. Chili was 2/5
This book has moments with her “protector” that are meant to give off the overbearing vibe…. It’s successful. It’s awkward how she doesn’t say she’s having new feelings but she keeps them at arms length the entire time like a petulant child. And adult would have had conversations with them. Just IMO.

Firestorm raged in my heart and lit my soul up. Asher and Evelyn took control of my feelings from the very start, they demanded my attention and had me enchanted right to the very end. This story weaved its way perfectly into the Everyday Heroes World so perfectly that there was no line in the sand it was just a magical blend. This story was full of suspense, intrigue and witty banter. At times there was triple the fun with the La Rouge clan and this part has me hanging for more. A story that is emotional, captivating, fiery, passionate and has just the right amount of dirty and steamy to heat you up on a cold Winter's night. Asher is one of those characters that not only has your heart pounding and your pulse racing from his charisma and alpha ways but has you head over heels in love with his huge heart. Evelyn is a woman with an internal strength that you can only but admire and a heart of pure gold. As the words of this story have a firestorm raging within, you will find yourself unable to put this one down.

This is the first book I have read by the author and I just could not help but fall for the complex characters she created as part of The Everyday Heroes World started by K. Bromberg. Sometimes being at the wrong place at the right time can bring something to your life you never saw coming. Evelyn was part of the social elite but lost it all. With the idea to get away, and prove that she is a self-sufficient woman, she winds up mountain climbing and backpacking. However, she wakes up to her surroundings aflame and then charged for the crime. Asher is the sexy volunteer firefighter/CEO of LaRouge Vineyard, who is dead set on finding the culprit to clear Evelyn. Filled with suspense, drama, and passion, this is one storyline that will suck you in even after the flames have been doused. Adding to the fun are Asher’s brothers who bring some comic relief. I volunteered to read a copy of this book.
