Musings of a poet’s heart
I was given a free galley copy by the publisher for an honest opinion.
‘Kalanjali’- a collection of 101 poems by poet Anurag Shourie is like the proverbial breath of fresh air. I seldom read poetry but was pleasantly surprised by the poet’s deep insight of raw human emotions reflecting in these poems. I intend to take up poetry in a serious way now. The poems are not very lengthy, and one does not feel distracted while reading them. They stir up emotions deep inside you, forcing you to reflect on life- this for me is the poet’s victory.
