This is a super slow burn Clean Cowboy Romance, and this is the 4th book in the Wyoming Sweethearts series. I found this book just ok, but I did really enjoy the last 25%. I think the first part of the book was just to slow moving for me. I did enjoy all the characters, and I loved the twins in this book. Eden was a great character, and I loved how she took care of the girls. I think if you love slow burn clean romance books you will enjoy this book. There is a light amount of faith inspired stuff in this book. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Love Inspired Suspense) or author (Jill Kemerer) via NetGalley, so I can give honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.
Love love and love this story!! We all will face moments in life where it feels like everyone else is moving on with life while we sit stuck in the middle of nowhere. We can feel left behind and invisible to those around us. But it's in the waiting that God reveals to us that He is there with us and invites us to look around as the plan for our life unfolds right before our eyes. We just have to trust, watch, and wait.
Jill Kemerer brings her wonderful Wyoming Sweethearts series to a close with Eden Page’s story. The Eden who has been in each book doing what she does best: loving on and taking care of everyone.
Ryder Fanning has come to Rendezvous to live and has bought her parents’ ranch. Eden wanted to live there forever. And Ryder, who is divorced from a famous actress, has asked her to babysit his five year old twin girls. She absolutely doesn’t want to have anything to do with Ryder, much less see him daily. But Eden loves kids. Eden has only ever wanted to get married and have children. But no one wants her that way.
I have very much looked forward to Eden’s story and Kemerer doesn’t disappoint. Eden is such a precious person and has such a huge heart. Yet her heart is breaking because her dream seems as if it will never come true. But God has a plan for each of us. Well done!
Thanks to the author and publisher for a copy of this book. I received no compensation and the opinion here is my own.
Eden is such an interesting heroine. She's always willing to help out and support her friends but is often overlooked and taken for granted. Not in a mean or spiteful way, she just has that kind of personality that hangs back and leaves the limelight for others so they are used to her being on the sidelines. And then Ryder swoops into town and claims everything from her family's ranch to her heart...because he notices her.
It's definitely a rocky road to romance though, since both are intent on living their lives independent of a happily ever after. Ryder's struggling with a sharp learning curve in ranching and two a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e twin daughters to corral. And, while this divorced dad isn't nursing a wounded heart, it's definitely a wary one.
Kemerer knows how to weave a romantical tale full of heart and hope. This is the fourth (and last) book in her Wyoming Secrets series and I'm ashamed to say I've only read the first one. Since each book read wonderfully well as standalones there's no problem in reading out of order. But, readers who have been following the series will be thrilled to pieces by the way the author brings all the characters together at the end for one moving tribute. Absolute awesomesauce! Now to source out the two middle books I missed. :-)
I really loved this sweet book This is turning into a wonderful series by Ms Kemerer. Her writing style is wonderful and she has some cool characters in this story. Some had to grow on me and others just melted your heart. One in particular I related to immediately. I was all in from the beginning and I didn't want it to end. This book will make you want to snicker, cry and rejoice. I even cheered Ryder and Eden on and shook my head at them other times for the way they acted sometimes. I love books like this because the characters resemble real people in life and the things they go through. This book offers hope, love, and many other things that you'll love. I recommend. My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review and all opinions are my own.
I have been looking forward to Eden and Ryder's story in this fourth book of the Wyoming Sweethearts series. I was not disappointed. I loved it. Once again, I was drawn into the story from the beginning. I always feel like I am right there with the characters in Jill Kemerer's books. I enjoy the suspense of not knowing just how the characters will act and get frustrated when they react poorly--like we often do in real life. It is amazing to watch the characters develop and see how they use prayer and Scripture to get them through the hard times. I highly recommend Hers for the Summer. I did receive a free advanced copy of the paperback with no obligation to leave a review. I gladly leave my five-star review. I definitely enjoyed it as I have enjoyed all of Jill's books.
This is an emotional, uplifting novel that inspirational romance fans will adore. Eden is grappling with the heartache over the sale of her family's ranch and her longing to move on with her life. Ryder has twin daughters who need a devoted babysitter while he learns to become a rancher and cope with his ex-wife's impulsive decisions. As Eden steps in to nurture and care for the twins, her relationship with Ryder develops into a sweet and wholesome romance. This is a delightful story about moving forward after experiencing challenging circumstances and embracing a future that looks different than expected. I've thoroughly enjoyed Jill's books, especially this series set in small-town Wyoming. Hers for the Summer is a satisfying conclusion. I'll miss these fictional friends and the close-knit community of Rendezvous. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the complimentary copy. All opinions shared here are my own.
We all would like to have a Ryan !!! Eden actually gets to have him and his twins for the summer and hopefully a whole lot longer. Both will have to let go of their past. Learn how to trust. And honestly realize a love for a lifetime takes courage and a willingness to take a chance on another person to not hurt them.
Jill Kemerer has completed the Wyoming Sweethearts with a love story between two of my favorite characters who have appeared in other books in this series. Eden is such a true and unselfish friend and so good with children. I was ready for her happily ever after. Ryder, a new resident of their Wyoming town, needs a babysitter for his twin little girls. Who better than Eden to fill this position? After all, he only needs a babysitter!
Jill Kemerer is always good to provide a sweet romance with an inspirational message. I enjoyed this story of two people who needed just the right person to fill that hole in their lives. Though Eden thought life had passed her by time and time again, she just needed to trust God in the waiting time. In addition to getting updated on the characters from previous stories, we get to know Ryder’s sweet twin girls in this one. Kemerer does a great job with children as characters. They are realistic in talk and behavior.
Although this is the fourth book in this series, Kemerer gives enough back story that it can be read as a stand-alone.
I received an advanced copy of this book, but was not required to leave a positive review.
This story was really emotional beautifully written. This is the first Jill Kemerer book, I have read and I loved it and plan to read all other books by her in the very near future. The characters were created with such fine details, with overflowing love of faith, family, compassion and community.
Hers for the Summer is a wonderful addition to Jill Kemerer’s Wyoming Sweethearts series. It’s been such fun getting to know the people of Rendezvous, Wyoming, and I’ve been waiting for Eden’s story. She’s such a sweet, compassionate, helpful friend to those around her. It seems like she always puts everyone else’s needs before her own. Now, just as she’s preparing to start online college classes to finish her education, along comes Ryder Fanning with a request that she babysit his five-year-old twins for the summer.
“He’d made a bad first, second, third and fourth impression on Eden. Had he ever made a good one?”
I enjoyed the interaction between Eden and Ryder, and the twins, Harper and Ivy, were adorable, of course. I loved seeing characters from previous stories pop up in this one. While the outcome of the tale is quite predictable, the journey is delicious and charming. I always know I’m in for a great read when I pick up one of Kemerer’s books.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.
Author Jill Kemerer brings a close to her Wyoming Sweethearts series with book 4, Hers for the Summer. This works as a standalone so don’t hesitate to jump in and enjoy this clean romance.
I found the characters to be so likeable and true to life. Eden feels stuck in place while everyone else moves on with life. Ryder is dealing with wounds from the past. Neither plans to fall in love but you’ll find yourself rooting for them. And maybe wanting to shake them a few times. And the twins. Adorable. They just want a mama to care about them.
The faith journey was very organic; nothing felt forced. It’s always good to read a book where God moves and this is acknowledged. Both have to learn to trust God and others in order to grow and have the life they really want. A sweet story, I highly recommend it.
I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.
Jill Kemerer brings her Wyoming Sweethearts series to a close with this wonderfully warm story. Eden and Ryder are a couple you find yourself rooting for. And Kemerer captures the spirit of the twins with compassion and humor. Like in life, God leads Eden down a path she never expected. As she struggles to stay on His path, she discovers how precious her friends and family are. This sweet story will bring a tear to your eye and so much joy!
Hers For The Summer By: Jill Kemerer This is a Love Inspiration Romance that will touch your heart. The fourth book in the series ,The Wyoming Sweetheart. This is Eden and Ryder’s story. *I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author, but was under no obligation to leave a review.
All her family and friends were moving on leaving Eden behind was the feeling I had as the fourth and final book in Jill Kemerer's Wyoming Sweethearts series began. Author Jill Kemerer did a great job not only describing her characters and the settings but in expressing the characters' emotions. For example, I really felt like I could understand how hurt and angry Eden was that Ryder bought her family's ranch. Ryder's twins are precious. Their emotions really come through too - it makes you want to give them a hug. I really liked that the story included Eden's parents. I think this is my favorite book of the Wyoming Sweethearts series. This book can be read as a standalone but I think the whole series is great.
I enjoyed and recommend all the books in the Wyoming Sweethearts series: Book 1: Her Cowboy Till Christmas Book 2: The Cowboy’s Secret Book 3: The Cowboy’s Christmas Blessings Book 4: Hers for the Summer
I received a free copy of this book from the author. All opinions are my own.
This was such a feel good romance! Eden is so kind and supportive that you couldn’t help but love her on as the story continued. Ryder was swoon worthy! Ahhh. I loved his character so much and how he adored his twin daughters. The banter between them was believable and their relationship was easy to cheer for! The ending did wrap up a little faster than I had hoped but overall this was a wonderful little romance novel!
Another delightful read in this series that I have loved! My heart hurts for Eden and the love she has for Ryder and his girls. And it hurts for Ryder as he fights his feelings thinking he is honoring his deceased wife in doing so. But love wills out.
Beautiful continuation of a series! It might have been my fave so far. It was a nice break from my normal suspense novels. Jill beautifully shared the story of Eden and Ryder that didn't hide the struggles, the need for growth and the desire for love. A broken family needed guidance and their answer to prayer was someone trying figure out where their life was meant to go. I think you will really enjoy it.
I received an ARC but I freely give my honest opinion.
I love reading Jill’s books. She draws me in and makes me feel like the characters are my friends. I’m always eager to see what is going to happen next.

A heartwarming story. Learning to trust in herself and God's plan for her life, Eden searches her heart for the right path. Will she find love and happiness? This story has love, faith, trust and more. I always enjoy the writings of author Jill Kemerer. I received a complimentary copy of the book. No review was required.
Eden is watching as those close to her form families and go on with their lives while she feels in a way stuck. Before she goes off to do something more she reluctantly helps Ryder with his twins after feeling a bit upset that he brought her family's ranch.
This was a cutely little read. If you are looking for light hearted sweet clean romance you'll enjoy this book. I loved seeing her work with the girls and that they didn't straight up disappear. She knows the land they now live on it was sweet seeing her talk about the past and where certain things was and the memory connected to it. But things can't stay sweet forever I mean she twins have a mother whose a bit of a flake and something is bound to happen because not everything can just look up theres gotta be deadlines and such to keep things a bit more interesting to shake things up. Overall this was a pretty drama free book and was pretty sweet to read.
Eden Page put her life on hold to care for her infant nephew when her sister died. Halfway to her degree, she didn't have a desire to go back until her parents sold the family ranch. Her dream had always been to marry and raise her family on the ranch but now, the ranch is in the hands of Ryder Fanning, the twin brother of her brother-in-law and she doesn't particularly like him. What she needs is to get her life back on track, but how can she do that when so far, she's "just the babysitter?"
Ryder Fanning has just found his twin. Separated as children when their parents divorced, each taking one boy, the brothers finally have the beginnings of a relationship. When Ryder's own marriage to Hollywood's Sweetheart disintegrates, giving him full custody of their twin daughters, he chooses to move from LA to be near his brother. Purchasing the Page ranch, he plans to throw himself into cattle ranching, but he needs someone to care for his daughters until they start school in the fall. He knows he didn't make a great first impression on Eden, but he also knows he couldn't find a better caregiver for his girls. Can he talk her into helping him out?
As Eden cares for the girls, she sees Ryder's dedication to his children, but believes his heart is too broken to let another woman in. She has already lost her heart to the twins. Can she keep her focus on the future she's planning for if her heart is beginning to yearn for everything with Ryder?
Jill Kemerer's stories are filled with family, and love, and every emotion under the sun. I believe I've read every one of her books (and not just because she's a "local" author!) and I look for her name on the cover because I know each book will be a delight. Romance readers will enjoy Hers for the Summer. I definitely recommend!
I really enjoyed Jill Kemerer's Loved Inspired Harlequin book, Hers for the Summer. One reason I liked it is because it tells the story of twin girls and I have 2 sets of twin girl cousins! I also liked reading about characters who have appeared in other books in this Christian themed series. In this story, Eden Paige has agreed to babysit Ryder Fanning's five year old girls until they start Kindergarten in Rendezvous. Ryder is not exactly her favorite person because he bought her family's ranch and now lives in her childhood home. The ranch holds many memories of growing up with her sister, Mia, who died almost five years ago. But Eden loves children and the twins quickly become fond of "Auntie Eden". She keeps them busy doing projects to give to their mother the next time they see her. It doesn't take long for Eden to feel like she is a part of the Fanning family which mimics how she sees herself in the future. She wants to be a wife and a mother, she just needs to find the right guy. I liked that kittens were included in the book as pets for the girls. They had a lot of personality! I like the books in the Wyoming Sweetheart series and recommend them to readers looking for a sweet HEA story with likable characters.
Hers for the Summer is the fourth and final book in Jill Kemerer‘s Wyoming Sweethearts series. What a fun book! Jill Kemerer is quickly becoming one of my favorite Love Inspired authors.
Ryder Fanning isn’t Eden Page’s favorite person, but she is the only person he wants to babysit his twin girls. It’s no wonder. Eden is excellent with little children and her gift is on full display in this story. She is truly a wonderful main character and I enjoyed learning more about Ryder along with her.
I also loved how the main characters from the previous three books made significant appearances. It added a layer to the ending that made it especially sweet.
If you’re looking for a wonderful story – and an excellent series – definitely check out Hers for the Summer. I loved it.
