TB. Bond has been writing, drawing, and web designing for years. When she is not doing one of those things, she’s reading and watching anime. Nerdtastic to the core she’s a Whovian, Trekie, Otaku, and probably a whole host of other things.
Described as one of the hardest working people known by her friends, she holds three degrees; one in science, one in art, and one in information technology. Currently her main job is in a learning technology department where she uses elements all of three fields.
Currently she lives with her husband, a fellow nerd, in Virginia.
⭐The story ‘Basis of Comparison: BWWM Paranormal Romance (Once Upon A Villain Season 2 Book 11)’ written by T B Bond starts with a drama where Oliver King who was the headmaster of the Mavis Academy thinks he needs to protect his students and his brothers.
⭐He has all the responsibilities on his shoulder and shares a very good bond with everyone. They have powers of turning themselves from a species to humans. It’s a super natural story where King Chris tries to save his kingdom from his enemies, no matter he feels love for a women but his main aim is to protect his kingdom.
⭐In the beginning of the story it’s little tricky to get familiarised with the characters and understand who they actually are. Are they humans or some animal with a tail wagging at the chair and as the drama continues you slowly and gradually get a grip of the characters and fall in love with them.
I came to this book via another series- Once Upon A Villian. It’s best described as a cross over between that series and the Paris in Springtime series. If you are reading PIS series, read this book before Hunter’s Creed, as it takes place chronologically before that one. Both books are standalone and you don’t have to read them in tandem to know what’s going on.
Overall this was a solid plot. The characters were interesting. Both had baggage, but were open to deal with it. There is definitely a feminist element to T.B. Bond’s characters, both male and female. She clearly weaves feminist themes into her storylines, without being preachy; it’s just how the characters think and behave. The ending does hint at a master plan being woven in the background of the PIS series. I don’t know if I will uncover it as I am leery of series with multiple authors. One “bad” book can turn me off the entire series.
The plot thickens... I rated this story five (5) stars for a well crafted romance between people "fate" threw together (Sera and Ollie) ; while slowly unraveling a few threads of the mystery behind efficacy of the famed 'Paris in Springtime' matchmaking service.
The picture of who, or what, the power is behind the 100% success rate of the Matchmaking Agency, is slowly starting to coalesce...
I am tempted to reread the entire 'Paris in Springtime' series to-date, to take good notes, and piece together the puzzle that undergrids this series of books.
T. B. Bond writes lighthearted, but intriguing stories that entertain, while keeping the mind sharp. During these stressful times, her books provide a satisfying escape from real life.
Really enjoyed this story with two damaged protagonists with a wonderful sense of humour. This is the first book I have read by this author and it Will not be the last. An engaging plot with some really.funny characters!!
