October 10, 2022Farewell, Baru. I am sure you will do splendidly over the next thousand pages or so. Diversity will win, love will triumph, and the conqueror will be conquered through the power of small kindnesses wielded by the singular they. And perhaps you will even have your own family of three mothers, two fathers, and a pet cancer whale.
It's just that I will not be there to cheer. I will be busy reading good books for a change.
