In a hidden base deep in the jungles of planet Paradiso, Imperial Agent Adil Mehmut must determine whether his prisoner, special operative and former true hero Ko Dali, is a traitor to her country and the whole human race, or an alien that has impersonated her to divide humanity’s forces.
A face off between them will become a race against the clock before the forces of the Combined Army learn of Ko Dali’s location and attempt her rescue.
In this story of political and military intrigue where nothing is what it seems, Adil will test the loyalties of his partners… and of the very nation he swore to serve.
I enjoyed Outrage much more, but this second Infinity graphic novel goes a long way to cover more of the Infinity Universe. I wish they did not take so long to produce new material.
I couldn't put Betrayal down. It provided an intimate view of the vast Infinity universe, packed with emotion and twists, and was a really enjoyable way to explore the world. I already feel like I need to reread it to further appreciate the art because I was so immersed in the story I blazed right through in one sitting.
The second graphic novel from the Infinity universe line, the story of Ko Dali, was another great story pulled right out of the background universe of the Infinity game. I felt its not as good nor unique as Outrage! but it still can stand on its own, introducing readers to characters from factions not previously revealed.
The art in this is nicely detailed. There is a lot of information left out that might be lost on someone unfamiliar to th Infinity table top war game storyline. It's a nice sci-fi with some great action sequences but it has a few plot holes and questionable main character decisions.
