4.5 stars!
In 2021, one of my goals is to read a lot of the books written by my friends. This one is written by someone who I just recently became acquainted with. I don't know if she actually wanted me to read the book but I knew that I had to. I will start this off by saying that she will constantly tell you that this book is not her best work and that it doesn't represent her as a writer.
I think this book was amazing. For one thing, it oozed with God's love. I could not get past the fact that it was so powerful. It was a fun, dramatic teenage story with so much truth and love and heartbreak. Man, some of the scenes were rough. The plot flowed really nicely, the cast was brilliant, and the EPILOGUE MADE ME WANT TO CRY. I don't know what to say, except that this is a must-read for anyone who enjoys serious and fun contemporary stories. This one delivers and deserves so much love!
