Eve is an Amish woman who is planning on leaving her home and her community. Eddie is a mountain man who gets attacked by a bear when he stumbles to the amish home that Eve shares with her widowed father. Eve is nursing him back to health and together they break all the rules.

Loved this couple. Eve is so cute and innocent and Eddie is a sexy mountain man. I loved every second of this story! ❤️

I loved this quick read romance. This over-the-top romance was cute, sweet, fun, emotional, intense and steamy. Eddie and Eve were pure perfection together. All the feels and all the swoon you could ask for delivered in a petite package. This read an excellent choice for when you are shot on time, in need of a palate cleanser or are just looking to brighten up your day and lift your mood. Totally delicious!!! I am electing to post a candid review.

His Apple Sauce by Frankie Love is the fourth book in The Secret Sauce series as part of the Flirt Club. This is the story of Eve and Eddie. This story is a bit different Eddie and Eve.
Eddie is early thirties and after being in some sort of trouble in his life decided that the only way to deal with things was to simplify his life. Hence no drinking, drugs and no dating, as each just leads to trouble. He also bought a bit of land up on a mountain in Baker Valley, the heart of Amish country, and became a homesteader. What that really means is living off the grid and simple. With fall here and winter approaching Eddie decided that he needed to hike the mountain and camp for a couple of days to get his mind right for the upcoming winter by himself. Unfortunately on the second day as he was walking along thinking of things and not paying attention a momma bear took a swipe at him that landed across his shoulder. Even as he drew his gun the bear and he called a stand-off and she and her cubs ran away, after all she was just protecting her babies. But for Eddie this is serious as he is bleeding bad and needs to get some help. As his cabin is to far away the only option is to head down the mountain and hopefully find a house which he does. Just as he is knocking on the door of an Amish farm house he passes out.
Eve is twenty years old and is a good Amish daughter and member of her community. But she also has a secret. She has worked at the midwife clinic in town and from there her eyes were opened about other options that are available in life outside of her community. So this weekend she has a plan. Her father is setting off to spend the weekend a town over at the Fall Auction. She is staying behind to finish canning the apples from their orchard and then she is leaving her community to go somewhere else to live and make her own decisions. That plan changes when there is a knock on the door and then a loud thump.
Eve opens the door to a passed out man who has been injured and is bleeding. She manages to bring him inside and takes care of his wounds, stitching them up. She is breaking the Amish rules by being alone with as man in the house but it feels right to her with this man, Eddie. Let's just say there are a lot of rules broken that night but there are also consequences to be paid when her father returns early. He kicks Eddie out but Eddie is not about to leave Eve there, after all he loves her and she loves him, they are connected. When Eddie returns the next day will Eve leave with him to start a new life?

This is an OTT, insta-love story with a big mountain man and a beautiful innocent young woman. The story hooks you from the start and keeps your attention to the end. This is another steamy, fun, romantic and sexy story with some drama and action added in. Her Apple Sauce is a good addition in this series. What I want to know is what is her secret apple sauce recipe?

Eddie wanted to get away from everything and now leads a simple life living on the edge of Amish country. Eddie writes a blog about his life now but gets lonely and longs for a woman who would share his simple life with him. Eddie goes on a hike and is attacked by a bear protecting her cubs. Eddie doesn't kill the mother bear knowing the cubs will not survive without her. Eddie makes his way down the mountain towards smoke he sees. Eve is Amish and lives in a farmhouse with her father. Her father has gone to the yearly auction, and Eve has stayed behind to finish the canning to show her father that she loved him before she leaves her life behind. Eve hears a noise and finds Eddie on the porch. When Eddie sees Eve, he thinks she is an angel. Eve cleans and stitches Eddie's wound. Eve and Eddie are drawn to each other and give into their attraction. Eve's father comes home early and finds Eddie alone with Eve. Eve's father kicks Eddie out of the house. Eddie doesn't want to leave Eve, but Eve begs him to leave. Will Eve stay with her father, or will she leave? Will Eddie walk away, or will he come back for Eve? Will Eddie and Eve find their happily ever after? I really enjoyed His Apple Sauce by Frankie Love. His Apple Sauce is a great insta-love story with great characters. I would definitely recommend getting His Apple Sauce and any other story by Frankie Love.

I received this short story with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Eddie and Eve. Eddie has lived off the land near an Amish community not because he wants to be Amish he just wanted away from everything. So he has a few comforts that he hasn't given up but for the most part he lives off the land. One day he is feeling sorry for himself and decides that before winter hit he should take the weekend to camp. That was when the trouble started. Eve has made up her mind she is ready to leave the Amish lifestyle and start a new life on her own. She decides she has one last thing to do and that is make the apple sauce that will last her father though the year. She doesn't want to leave her only family but she knows she just can't stay. Then she hears it a knock and a thump. When she finds Eddie she knows she has to help no matter what trouble it may cause. Will this be the beginning of their HEA or will this be the end of them both?

This is another amazing story by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

His Apple Sauce is perfection. A departure for Frankie Love in visiting the Amish world. But Eve is such a captivating, beautiful character. A woman has grown up in the Amish community but knows she wants more. Eddie is a mountain man blogger, fine with living off the grid but also yearning for something he thinks he can never find. Then fate intervenes in the form of a bear attack in the woods. When Eddie needs help, he ends up on Eve's doorstep..from the moment they meet, even we the reader can see they are destined to be exactly what the other needs. Eve may be young and innocent but she is also strong and brilliant, and Eddie recognizes and admires every little thing about her. Their chemistry burns from the beginning and Eddie is positively swoon-worthy as he guides his young, beautiful love into a whole new world. And who knew making apple sauce could be so freaking sexy? Frankie Love has truly outdone herself this time around and just made this series even more exciting.

Eve is Amish and lives with her father but She wants to get away.
Eddie had moved out to Baker Valley — the heart of Amish country when he just had enough of life. His woman slept with his best friend and he just had enough. He wanted a simple life but he had started to get lonely. While out he gets attacked by a bear thankfully he away and finds himself at a house.
Eve was home alone as her father was away at a auction and she had planned to make some apple sauce for him when he got home as Eve was going to leave and hoped it would lessen the blow. But that night she heard banging at her door, she hoped it wasn't her father but when she opened the door she found a man heavily bleeding. She helped him in and the attraction was instant.
What would happen when this two meet??
This is a instalove fast paced read. Eddie believes he has found his angel but Eve is a innocent. But their chemistry is off the charts and it makes for a magical read. Oh La La its so good i couldnt put this book down super hot. Loved it!!

Insta-love strikes again. Eddie lives a simple life in the mountains, but he does miss not having a wife and winter was coming on. He knows the chance of him finding a wife in this community is small as most everyone else was Amish, so he took off up higher into the mountains to camp out for the weekend. He was deep in thought and he did not hear the mama black bear coming for him until her claws hit him across the shoulder. She only hit him once and went on with her cubs, but Eddie knew he needed to get help for himself before he passed out. He started down the mountain hoping to find a farmer to help him. That was when he found Eve Yoder. She took him in and cleaned and sewed his cuts up. She was home alone, because everyone else in the community including her father had gone to the Amish Auction. She did not go, because she was planning to leave the Amish community entirely while her father was gone. She wanted a simple life just not on the order of the Amish life more on what Eddie's life was like.

To what I understand Amish beliefs, this book was very respectful and accurate.

Eddie has been living in the woods near a Amish community when a bear attacks him. He sees the smoke from someone's chimney and walks to it for help. Eve is an Amish woman but doesn't feel like she's meant or that life and is about to leave when there's knock on the door. When she sees the shape Eddie's in she brings him in to help him. When he is patched up Eddie talks to Eve to learn more about her. They are drawn towards one another and its hard to fight temptation. What will happen when her father learns about them? Will she still leave the community?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Frankie Love has been a must read author for me for a while now and this book is only one of the reasons. Ms. Love knows how to grab onto a reader from the 1st page to the last with her terrific storytelling and world building. Her characters are so delightful that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. Eddie and Eve's story is one of deciding that you are going to leave a life that you have known your whole life but still getting a surprise right at the end. This story has everything that you could want; comedy, drama, action and of course hot romance. You will be sorry if you miss this delightful addition to The Secret Sauce series.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
His apple sauce is a novella in the ‘’secret sauce’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters loveable and the storyline enjoyable. When Eddie gets injured he ends up in the Amish part of town looking for help. Eve is ready for a lifestyle change when Eddie ends up on her doorstep. When sparks fly will Eve take a chance with Eddie?
The chemistry between Eve and Eddie is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

This very well written book 4 in The Secret Sauce Series is intriguing as it had some very well-thought out scenes and storyline. These characters have very strong wills and personalities and their interactions are believable.This wonderful story has the following: intrigue, twists and turns, adventure, action, love, steam and a HEA. It is a fast-paced, Curvy Girl Romance that will keep you engaged from start to finish as not all is as it appears. I will be looking for more books in this series as I missed the first 3

I really liked this story a lot. It was different, entertaining, and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. Eddie was a sweetheart but also an alpha that knew what he wanted. Eve was sweet but strong too. She was also brave. Eddie and Eve were a great match. They definitely seemed drawn to each other immediately. I didn't understand why Eve went to her room instead of going with Eddie. I loved it when Eddie came back to get her that Eve stood up for herself and chose to be with Eddie. Their happy ever after made me smile. I recommend reading this book.

This is one of the Secret Sauce series book from the Flirt Club by Frankie Love. An instant love romance about Eve and Eddie. An amish girl who's ready to give up the amish way of life and a mountain man who's become lonely. Due to an accident while hiking, the two meet and well, it is an instant love romance!?! Well written, fast paced, short read with some steam and angist to round the story line out. The books in this series are fun and a bit over the top but perfect for an afternoon escape!

He races down the mountain and runs into Eve's house. Eve has managed to convince her dad that she needs to stay home. She had already made plans to leave. While she is making apple sauce, she hears a knock at the door. This is a good, short book. The characters are interesting.

This was a super sweet book! I love Eva and Eddie together. Eddie has been hurt in the past and has given up on relationships; that is until he sees Eva. Eva is a young Amish woman who has had a taste of the outside world and is ready to explore it. These two have amazing connection and chemistry. I loved the insta-love/attraction. There is some drama with Eva's father but Eddie won't let anyone stand in his way to get his woman. I would recommend this book and this author!

Out to find themselves! This is about Eddie and Eve. She is Amish and he stumbled on her front doorstep needing help after being attack by a mamma bear. Instant love and connection, but he was forced out by her father who returned earlier than expected. The story is sweet as they each were on the hut to find themselves and ultimately found each other. His possessiveness was just right, not demanding but sublet and caring and she demonstrated to be mature which won me over.

Eddie was ok with being by himself in the woods living the life. His ability of relying on land very similarly but not Amish. While camping he gets swiped by a momma bear. He makes it to a home of a Amish house and meets Eve. She patches him up and she wants a new life with a premeditated plan to leave theAmish life. It’s a bloody (literally) cowinkadink that Eddie is in her path. Is he going to return and fight for her before she leaves? Great dialogue of how it could be.

The title and cover is very misleading so do not allow them to turn you away. This was a great example of opposites from upbringing to religious beliefs not determining factor in deciding who you should or could love. Eddie and Eve could not have come from more different backgrounds or deal with life anymore differently but what should have been very tragic ending was the beginning of their terrific story. Their differences brought about understanding, growth, expansion, family and love.

A quick read more on the erotica side ~

I was quite intrigued by the title, and the whole concept behind the series which made me pick it up.

This is an insta-love story between a mountain man and an Amish girl gone rogue. I was not able to connect with the story as is sometimes the case with short novellas who also feature characters that fall in love instantly. That said, the characters were sweet and the story was entertaining. It made for a pleasant quick read.

I really enjoyed this story, Eddie is living a quiet peaceful homesteading life but is lonely, luckily for him Eve is home afyer he gets mauled by a bear. Eve is ready to leave her Amish life to be who she knows she's meant to be, she also realizes she belongs with Eddie.

This instalove romance has plenty of drama and steam, can two people from completely different backgrounds be perfect for each other?

Okay, this premise was just to cute! Eve is planning on leaving her father’s home when Eddie winds up at her doorstep in need of some TLC. This was another awesome story by the super talented Frankie Love. Eddie moves to Amish county after his girl cheats on him with his buddy. All he wants is peace and quiet. Eve is Amish but she wants a different life and she has plans to leave. When she finds a wounded Eddie at her door bleeding, she is determined to help him. The connection between Eddie and Eve is immediate. This was the perfect afternoon escape. Loved it! Definitely recommend!

Eddie knows the moment he sets eyes on Eve that she is special and Eve falls hard for Eddie while tending to his care.
