Not a good read
It started out ok but you soon pick up on the fact that English is not the author's first language.
The Female lead went from being a strong independent woman to being a complete sap. Overall I wouldn't recommend and I certainly won't be purchasing the second part! It wouldn't surprise me if this book like many others is copied using AI.

Falls flat. So many errors its ridiculous
Idk how kindle said it had so many stars. Its only worth 2.
The best relationship is Lillian and jayda.
It started off solid and fell apart.
It changes tense. Has poor word choices. And is factually incorrect about basic things to do with pregnancy to the point of ridiculousness.
I'll be honest. I stopped reading after the chapters after they went to see an ultrasound at 6 weeks.
The dialogue was weird. Changes tense. And noone speaks like that anyway. Even in broken English they wouldn't. Its either poor ai or chatgpt or written in note form in poorly understood English.
The difference between the starting chapters and later ones is vast.
Someone didn't do their job editing, fact checking and proof reading and it shows. I won't buy the second one

Needs a good editor
I don’t know if this is a translation or AI written, but the dialogue is not good. It’s juvenile, stilted, forced, etc. The tense used in telling the story is all over the place. Neither character is really appealing. Seb goes from jerk to simpering puddle of apology and Jayda goes from great, strong female to she believes him unquestionably. I forced myself to the end, so no second book for me.

Good Storyline Bad Vocabulary
If you can ignore that, this short story has not had any serious editing, and zero proofreading. If you can ignore the author jumping from first person to third person and back again.
Then you might enjoy the storyline.
Be forewarned, the author has a vocabulary limited to eighth grade level.
I will not purchase another story from this Author.

Instead of buying a book, I am currently using the AnyStories app and reading “Cold Showers.” Jayda is such a strong female character you can’t help but fall in love with and then there is Sebastian, in which I almost feel bad for. I loved the plot and storyline. This book could've easily been 400 pages, it seemed a bit rushed. Also, it had a lot of grammatical errors. An editor before publishing would've been good. Great potential, didn't hate it but won't be purchasing the second book.

I read this book on one of those ‘pay per chapter’ apps.
This book is fun! She is a kick ass lawyer who eats people for breakfast. He is a full of himself ego asshole who thinks hes gods gift. When she gets pregnant from a one night stand she takes the reins and tells him this is how its guna be. He tries to male every situation to suit him and she throws it back at him, he eventually has to stop being an ass and treat her like a person. hallelujah!
