a poetry book guiding you through the struggles of mental health, trauma, and finding yourself. take the guidance that these words provide and bloom as a new woman, a new person in this world full of pain. let these words heal you, to let you know that you aren't alone in the way you feel. this is the book to take you to the place you need to be, trust my words and take them as your own.-thank you
so good, talks about the struggles of mental health in a very beautiful way. i originally bought it because the author is around my age and it was so well written
This book is painfully relatable. I enjoy reading poems that evoke deep emotions. The way Freya names each poem with a particular quote allows you to go back and understand EXACTLY what she was talking about in the poem if you happened to be unsure. The poems mention self-harm and mental health struggles so read at your own risk. If these are sensitive topics to you then I would not recommend reading it, but if reading about these topics comfort you then I would recommend it.
Loved this one!! Ede does a great job at showing readers how human interaction (especially love) can change us in the form of poetry, which I feel like is difficult for many to do as well as it was done here. I also loved the parts where the book talks about overthinking and anxiety because, again, I feel like I haven’t read too many pieces of poetry that talk about those topics as well as Ede did. Overall very beautiful work 🤍
