3.5 Stars. I liked the ending to this one even if it was a bit disturbing. Just like the last book, there is a lot of sex in this book - so much that I skimmed some of it. Where it was a bit more fresh in the first book before they had PIV sex, this book got pretty repetitious and I couldn't take reading the word "gushy" one more time. Gabriel has an unrecognized kink for car sex, I think.
The extremely long backstory info dump we get while Marcus is hanging upside down in the Jeep was ridiculous. Like the last book, this book is seriously in need of a competent editor and a diligent proofreader.
I'm on the fence hard about Marcus and I feel so bad for Gabriel and his mom.
I appreciated the side trip POV of Willow's Uncle Luke and her boy BFF's start of their affair. I hope they get a book. I don't know if the author intended for the internalized homophobia or if she harbors her own, but some of her BBF's thoughts were sad and disturbing. If they do get a book, I hope this changes.
I'm interested in Lochlan and Ragan. Moving onto their books.
I loved these two characters and their story. This book has many secrets that come out and your going to need some kleenex. Don’t worry they get their HEA. Loved that many of the other characters story are starting to show in this book. Makes it difficult to have to sit and wait for the next one to come out. Written in both characters POV.
Loved this book. It gets better with each read. Can’t wait for the other douchebags to come out! There’s twists and turns I didn’t see coming. So good.
