Oh ny gosh, I love E.C. Land so much! She writes books that are super sexy, exciting and hilarious all at the same time. She definitely keeps up the tradition with Luna’s Shadow. Shadow and Luna are amazing! He’s over the top alpha and with all her physical and emotional strains he’s perfect for her. As with all her books, the supporting characters always have a large part of the storyline and that makes the books even more fabulous! Sometime soon I’m going to dedicate time to go back and reread the Devil’s Riot MC, Devil’ Riot MC Originals, Inferno’s Clutch MC and even Dark Lullabies because they all intermingle and I’m pretty sure I’m forgetting important characters in between books. Doesn’t detract from the books, but is a legitimate excuse to go back to the first! Can’t wait for Choosing Nerd!

Luna had to herself from everyone including herself after she was rescued. She is forced into a girls night out and she really lets loose because of the ol’ ladies and the MC is there to protect her. Shadow is mine blown when she lets loose and comes out of her shell. This is a thrilling story that kept me glued to the pages wanting to know what happens next with Luna and Shadow. This is an action packed the story but can Shadow keep her safe from her past?

Where to start....I love Shadow so much!! I have loved him since he was first mentioned. I think Shadow and Luna are so good together. Luna has had a hard life. She lost her mother and has a wicked stepmother from he!!. Shadow did not need it want one woman until he realized Luna was tru!y his perfect match!! Read this book in one sitting!! Loved it sooooo much!!

This is the 5th book in the DRMC Originals, and it's Luna and Shadows story. If you haven't read the other books in the series, I'd probably recommend reading them before this one. As we get more into the characters and series, plots and people are really intertwined.

I've been waiting for Shadows story, as he has been in most if the books. As long and mysterious, I knew he was going to be HOT. And he boy is he. He meets Luna when Vicky goes to exact revenge on her family for their attack on Tracker (it happens it their book). Also, shadow and Vicky are hilarious together (he calls her PIMA 😂). And we meet Luna. We knew Luna was being held captive by Nickys family, and Vi/Shadow helped her escape. Shadow didn't really have a whole lot of interest in Luna at first, but after a night out for her birthday, went all in. He is a dom, and he introduces her to the dom/sub lifestyle. I really liked Luna. She has ADHD and OCD, which can result in panic attacks. I thought E.C. Land did a really good job describing that, and bringing Luna to life. I had a small problem with her going so quickly into the sub role though. Personally after having been attacked and kidnapped, she wouldn't want to be in that position, especially with someone she loved. But maybe that is just her personality. I mean, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't say no to Shadow either.

The only reason I gave this 4 stars is I wanted more. More Shadow and Luna and them as a couple. I wanted to know more about her dad and brothers, and some of the secondary characters. Like i loved the scenes with all the ol ladies and their connection. More of that too! I felt this book, and Shadow/Luna deserved a longer story, and it was rushed to be published. All in all though, I really liked it, and can'twait for Nerd. Slight spoiler about his book and ol lady at the end!

Luna’s Shadow is the 5th book in the DRMC (Devil’s Riot MC) Originals. E.C. Land did it again. As always she wrote another outstanding book. Luna’s Shadow is all about Luna and Shadow’s story. Luna had a lot of issues due to her being kidnapped and rescued. Shadow was an original member of the DRMC. They met in another book but Shadow did not follow up on his attraction to her as he didn’t see the real her till this book. Following an incident Luna and Shadow became a couple and faced some issues from Luna’s past. Luna’s Shadow consists of has secrets, surprises, and betrayal. I so badly want to say more but I don’t want to spoil anything for you if you decide to go ahead and read Luna’s Shadow. E.C. does a fantastic job in keeping reader captivated and engrossed in Luna’s Shadow from beginning to the end with lots of twist and turns with things going sideways a time or two. Being that Luna’s Shadow is part of a series there is a cliffhanger although it is done in a way that won’t upset reader too much but will make you hoping the next book comes out sooner rather than later. I highly and absolutely recommend Luna’s Shadow in fact I also recommend the whole series. You will not regret reading the DRMC series or reading Luna’s Shadow. Note that I really love the sentiment on how the title gets its name and I think you will too. Trigger Warning: if you have triggers in regards to violence , kidnapping, and talk of rape then this book is not for you. I think the triggers are mild but then again I am not one to judge that as that is personal to your own situation. Please find another book if you do have triggers.

Book 5 in the Devils Riot MC originals series and follows shadow and Luna story. After rescuing Luna from Victoria's adoptive parents, Shadow knew she looked familiar and decided to look into her background finding out he use to do work with her father Antoine Devore leader of one of the largest enterprises, having notified her family and told them she has the MC protection Shadow kept his distance. Until he gets dragged out by Victoria for Lunas surprise birthday celebration. Luna likes her routines and lives more like a hermit since the day she was rescued, apart from work as a first grade teacher, when her colleges find out it's her birthday there not taking no as an answer to go celebrate. Overhearing girls talking about her in the girls toilets Luna decides take her quite exit home, which doesnt go down well when the others find out shes missing. When Shadow learns shes gone home and is in distress he goes over there determined to teach her a lesson that ends with him claiming her. When Luna tells Shadow about her suspicions about her step mum being involved with her kidnapping, Shadow sets up a meet with her dad and brothers that leads to revealing unexpected connections and family secrets. Will Shadow be able to keep Luna safe when they come for her again. Well written with a great story plot that has you hooked all the way through! This is a real page turner with actions, suspense, twists and turns, secrets, desire, romance and more! A great addition to the Devils Riots Originals series.

I love E.C. Land so much and Luna's Shadow was another great read added to the Devil's Riot series. Shadow helps his brother's woman Victoria rescue Luna from her evil parents and she is brought back with them. Luna is a school teacher and after being kidnapped, raped, and abused she is terrified of just about everything. She is kind of a recluse she only goes to work and groceries, she has four locks on her door, and she has panic attacks. Shadow isn't really interested in Luna because he likes his women wilder. Luna's work friends find out it is her birthday and dress her up and drag her to a local nightclub to celebrate. Victoria and the other old ladies and their men met them there and surprise Luna too...Shadow didn't want to come but Victoria finally convinced him to. After seeing Luna looking so hot and cutting loose on the dance floor Shadow watches and wants her. After hearing some girls say some really bad things about her Luna sneaks out and goes home, the ladies are freaking out so after Shadow sees what shape she is in he goes to her apartment. Things heat up between them...
Shadow is a dominant and he is exactly what Luna needs to free her mind. I love the way that Shadow helps Luna when he sees that she is starting to close in on herself.
This book is full of suspense...we learn some things about Luna and Victoria and find out how Luna's kidnapping happened in the first place.
I absolutely love this series and can't wait for Nerd's story next.

Luna's Shadow by EC Land has to be one of my favorites. The story picks up when Victoria and Shadow save Luna from the horror she had endured while drugged and held prisoner. Luna is now apart of the Devil's Riot MC family especially with her connection to Victoria and the other women of the club who are very protective of her. Shadow has been drawn to Luna from the start, will he be able to control his dominant side around Luna. When he learns who her family is and who had a part in her kidnapping, Shadow will make Luna his and protect her with his life. The chemistry and connection these two have ends up with both of them embracing Shadow's lifestyle. As Shadow has now claimed Luna as his ol' lady, Luna is becoming stronger and more confident with Shadow's love and support. Luna's love for Shadow brings out the best in him allowing him the life that he lost forever; a family. But things will soon change as a plan is put into motion regarding Luna. Will Shadow and his brothers get to her in time as she is betrayed by someone close to her or will Shadow once again lose another person he loves? Luna's Shadow is a fast paced edgy romance story that will pull you in with all of the twists and turns, betrayals, drama and violence. Once again E.C. Land allows her readers to embrace the characters in this story. Can't wait for the next story to come out.

Shadow's book was way more then I was hoping for. You definitely find out more about Shadow, more than we thought. You also will find out more about Luna the young lady that was rescued by Victoria and Shadow.
Now to the book itself!! Shadow and Luna are perfect for each other. Luna has put a wall up to protect herself from the shadows and her past. She sticks to herself, goes to work and back home. She never lets her walls down because she feels if she does the shadows will get to her and take her under. So the one time she let's her walls down Shadow sees the true Luna and decides she is going to be his and be claimed. But not in the way you think (not going to spoil it for you) you'll have to read to find out. But I will tell you its going to blow your minds.
Shadow has a past just like the next person. But when he goes to Luna's one night she brings the light to his Shadow! He makes a promise to her and himself to protect her so she can keep her walls down especially with him. Their love for each other will melt her hearts while their bedroom acts will melt your kindles!!
E.C. Land definitely out did herself on Shadow's book and I can't wait to see more of these charters and these characters.

Ok, I always love the blurbs of EC Land's books. But then she rushes the story so much I can't enjoy it. I want some background. I want some more interaction with the characters outside of the bedroom. I want to know more about these secondary characters that are very important to the story. I thought Luna was such an interesting character I wanted to know more about her OCD and ADHD. I wanted a better explanation of her family situation. Who are these friends of hers at work. Shadow has a history we know only get a glimpse of. Is this why he was so dismissive of Luna initially? And because the whole story was rushed we went from Shadow being annoyed he had to attend this event for Luna to claiming her in one night. I have whiplash. In addition, I noted a few typos, grammar issues, etc. and can't help but wonder if this is due to the rushing of getting these books out of the door. I keep getting these stories because the premise is compelling, but PLEASE, give us the full story, even if we have to wait longer between books.

This book is full of shocking revelations and twists and turns, connections and family are revealed. The plot and story line are well thought out and flows smoothly, I did read the prior book so I had background into Victoria and Shadow and their rescue of Luna. Shadow knows who Luna is and keeps in touch with her family, however when he sees the way Luna lives he feels she is too boring and not not his type, he does not realize its the kidnapping, experiences and who she suspects that makes her so cautious and scared.

When they finally get together he starts show his controlling nature and slowly Luna starts functioning better and feels loved and safe and you realize that Shadow's controlling while for his pleasure as well, its to keep Luna out of her own head. He is so protective of her and sweet to her and while he is controlling in the bedroom, he mostly just protects her outside of it. Swoon worthy Alpha. The author does an amazing job with the main and supporting characters and they make such an impression you remember them even if only mentioned once. Great read

We're finally finding out what happened to the Victoria lookalike (otherwise known as Luna). Boy, does she have a backstory and then some. Leave it to grumpy to be the one that can't stand her, but eventually he sees her true fire. Well, that's all our dark prince needs before he starts down a path that we learn more about. What does Shadow do with his time away from the club? Well, we're learning more. Plus, we learn more about Luna and how she's directly tied to the MC. There's more than meets the eye with Luna.

This story was suspenseful and STEAMY!! Loved the Luna and Shadow together. As always, I love seeing the other couples interacting with the new couple. Oh!! I can't wait to read Nerd's story next. That's probably going to be HOT as well. Of course, we need to eventually read Boss' story so Rachel can get some peace of mind. Otherwise, you're going to have to read the book!! You'll want to read it if you've read the series. Don't skip any of the books!!

It was a good book but felt like I was lost on a few things. Like maybe there's a missing book here. I even checked for a novela but there wasn't one for this point in the series. Maybe I dozed off while reading and missed something...lol

Luna was rescued by I think it was Victoria in an earlier book. Instead of going home where she didn't feel like she fit in or was wanted she got a place in the town of the club and started a job teaching. She has very low self esteem and has tried to just stay in the shadows until one night a couple of friends drag her out for a surprise birthday party that the club put together for her. She finally felt safe and cut loose and had a great time.

Shadow doesn't really understand why but he doesn't really like Luna. She is quiet and basically a stick in the mud until the night of Luna's party. He figures out what she wants and needs and he is just the man to be it for her.

A lot of twist and turns in this book. A lot of new people too.

I'm always amazed with variety in this series! There are similar traits in the men and women of this MC dark romance but every couple is unique with their own set of challenges. Luna is OCD and ADHD. When MC Enforcer Shadow helps rescue her from kidnappers it takes almost 2 years for Luna's true self to shine again. And once Shadow really sees her, he can't stay away. She is still in danger and he will kill to keep her safe. If you like caring, resilient heroines and dominant, protective heroes you'll enjoy this page-turner! It is told in thoughtful dual POV with drama, intimacy, supportive friends, dysfunctional families and danger. I love getting to know all the complex characters in this MC world and I liked this short, engaging story. I look forward to Nerd's story.

E.C. Land has once again given us another great read in Luna’s Shadow. It was great to read about Luna and Shadow and their drama filled journey to each other. This series is amazing and Shadow is a bit of a mystery but he opened up a bit in this book and I loved getting to know him. I also loved that we got to see some of the other couples in this book as well with lots of awesome moments when they’re all interacting and it was really good to see Luna opening up to the other ladies in the club. Lots of drama, action and, of course, steamy scenes that brought this story to life. I can’t wait to read the next book because these books get better and better.

The Best Read in the Series, so far!
In “Luna’s Shadow” Luna had been abducted and raped. She was rescued by the Devil’s Riot MC and allowed to recover with them watching out for her and Shadow is her personal watchdog. Only Shadow has a thing for Luna and Luna has a thing for Shadow. This tale is filled with action, drama, betrayal, violence, and hate. The storyline plot is one of the best in this series and comes with a twist that will shock you. Luna deserves love and safety and Shadow is the man to give it to her, no matter whom he has to kill! This suspenseful tale will keep you guessing and reading to the last page, and you will wish for more.

Luna’s Shadow by E.C. Land was a fantastic story!!!! It follows Luna and Shadow. She is rescued and brought to the Devil’s Riot MC. Shadow thinks she’s a bore….at first. Then, he discovers things about her that have him entranced. She is attracted to him immediately, but thinks he could never want someone like her. Meanwhile, someone still wants her and is still trying to find her. Shadow vows to keep her safe. But, is this a promise he can keep?

This was a short, action-packed story full of tenderness, fear, coping, and intense showdowns. This series just gets better and better!!! Incredible story!!!!

Luna was the woman that Victoria rescued in Owning Victoria. Shadow is the enforcer of the DRMC and he was with Victoria when Luna was rescued. Luna's Shadow takes place a year or so after Luna was rescued. She is now a school teacher but her experience had messed with her that she withdrew into herself. Shadow does not want to have anything to do with her. Then everything changed one night. This is a fast-paced, direct to the point story that I appreciate. This has suspense, action, danger and passion. I was engaged from the start and did not let up until I was done. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

Luna’s story and Shadow

Who knew that this was the rescued Luna? It’s the Luna that Vi and Shadow rescued. She has a serious crush on Shadow but he keeps ignoring her. There are so many questions up in the air about what happened to Luna and why. This book has the answers. Raven is still fierce in this story and it’s awesome! So glad Stoney, Rachel, Victoria, Raven, Blaze, Trigger, et al showed up and enhanced the storyline. I wanted to know more about Luna’s history and family. They seemed shorted in the storyline and that was one of the climatic events which could have been explored more in this book. There’s a sneak peak for the next brother at the end. Read On!

This was an unexpected expected rollercoaster, I have not read much from this author nor have I read much from the series but this book pulled me in from,the first -age. The story is about Shadow and Luna. Shadow has to calm Vi down as she is after those that hurt her old man, Tracker. Shadow notifies a woman taken out of the car they are tailing and sees she skin and bones and looks beaten. They decide to rescue her. Once they got Luna out of there, Shadow thought she looked familiar and then realized that Luna is the daughter of a man he used to work for. Even though at first it doesn’t seem they are sexually compatible- feelings blossom and he soon realizes she’s the perfect partner for him.

I say every book is better than the last each time I read one of E.C. Lands books, and it's true. Luna's Shadow is an incredibly great read and their story is so freakin hot, sexy and beautiful, once they get together. Shadow is FIERCE in his love for Luna and he has no problem showing it. He helps bring her out of the shell she's been wanting to hide in and stands right beside her as she becomes the very best version of herself she can be and Luna is exactly what Shadow needs to be his best self and together they can conquer anything. Luna's Shadow is full of twists and turns and will keep you guessing til the last page.

This is a great book, that continues the Orginal’s Series. It also carries a subuttle hint of things that are very real in the real life of today.
Luna has OCD and is afraid if people found out she would be mad fun of or made to feel bad about herself. She has no control of her life until Shadow comes into it and rescues her.
Shadow sees a woman born to be his in everyday life and everyday possible. Luna brings him into the light and he brings her back to life and the joy of living.
They are forever people and heaven help anyone who tries to hurt her or take her from him. He will put them so far down into the ground that even the Devil wont want them .

E.C. Land did not disappoint once again!! Shadows story has been long awaited. He meets up with others to kill, but then turns to a savior. Luna has had a horrible life, and is a dead look a like to Victoria. At first he doesn't want anything to do with her but that quickly changes. Lots of backstory of Luna and Shadow. I loved this one in particular because it shows lots of "everyday" stresses that people and couple work through. No one messes with the DRMC members or ol' ladies!!! Now i need Nerd's book asap!!

Wow did Luna shock Shadows world when she finally let her real self shine. After her kidnapping she has lived as a recluse only going to work and grocery shopping to return home and lock herself away, still feeling like she isn't good enough let alone for Shadow she makes one mistake that sets Shadow on her tail and that is one Dominant she won't be able to shake.
With Shadows help she is able to live her life as she would have previously yet there are still things lurking in the shadows for her and will Shadow be able to save her from them.
As always a bad kick as ending and can't wait for the next guy to fall :)

Luna and Shadow are perfect for each other. This story has suspense, drama, danger, lies, humor, attraction and love. The characters have such great chemistry together. The storyline is so well written that you cannot put the book down. The Devils Riot MC has been a great series to this point. I am sure that whatever comes next will be just as enjoyable. I look forward to it

Shadow is a man you shouldn't mess with. Not that you should mess with any of the DRMC-Men. Luna's live is not easy and her ADHD doesn't make it easier for her. Shadow cares about the people in the MC, the Ol' Ladies and also Luna, even is she seems aloof. It's such a great story by E.C. Land as always. It just felt a bit short. Maybe it's because I love the characters so much. Maybe it's because I feel so at home with the guys and their women or maybe it's just because I can forget about the real world for a short time. Doesn't matter why but I hope E.C. Land keeps the guys coming.

We have met Shadow in the previous books and we went along for the ride when he and Victoria rescued Luna even though that wasn't their original; plan Now we get the full depth pf Luna and Shadows story. She has had a past and is now terrifies and she has built walls around herself to protect her self from the shadows on her past Little does she know that it will actual; be Shadow that releases her from her self imposed prison. Shadow is a dom at heart and he doesn't believe Luna is the one for him that is until one night changes his mind and now he will do whatever he needs to make sure she is his. Can they have a future you will have to read to see

In the Shadow of the moon

Luna’s Shadow is the fifth book in the Devil’s Riot MC: Originals series. It is the story of Shadow and Luna. Their story is one wild ride from start to finish, and there is a lot packed into this novella. Shadow may be a Dom who likes subs and Luna may not be his type but somehow they end up together and the Kindle starts smoking and melting when that happens. Then add in the danger, drama, violence and more and this is a book that just keeps you one the edge of your seat as you read it.
