Having to choose between life and death would seem easier if I wasn't dealing with the situation I've found myself in. I was asked a favor by a good friend to help them find someone, so of course I agreed without hesitation. It's what I do best-- locating missing persons.
I never knew the person I was looking for would be the only one who's been capable of bringing me to my knees.

Cara is Coyotes younger sister and he is so overly protective of her that she went to NY for college and he still showed up and embarrassed her at a frat party. That's why it took a few to find out she had been kidnapped because she wouldn't answer his calls. He would really go nuts to find out who she was really wanting.
Nerd plans to let Cara go to college and ad soon as she gets home he planned on letting her know that she is it for him. Let her finish growing up. When he finds out she's been kidnapped he pulls out all the stops.
Cara:. It's been two months since she was kidnapped and has given up on the club coming to her rescue. Then things go really bad.
When Nerd finds out who was behind the kidnapping and the other old ladies are threatened he sees red.
This is war!!

Devil's Riot MC: Originals Book six is Choosing Nerd. There are a lot of people in and out as well as mentioned in the book. E.C. Land does provide a membership list to each club listing their rank, old lady as well as children. This was the first book I have read about them and by E.C. Land and that listing did help tremendously. It definitely would have helped to read the other books first but it isn't imperative
I am glad I started reading the Devils Riot series. The men and women of this group are not perfect by any means. They are not pretentious and if you look beyond the label of motorcycle club you will see a family, one that supports the other no matter what. There are trigger warnings at the beginning of the book so please take them seriously. This is not a world of sunshine and roses. It has flawed people that protect what is theirs, fiercely.
The plot for Choosing Nerd is involved and twisting. This story starts fast and picks up speed. I think I went through almost every emotion reading this book but I grew to care about the characters so I didn't mind.
Nerd and Cara do find a happily ever after of sorts. Some plot lines are still open and ongoing but there is some sense of happiness for our couple. Just as in this one, I am sure the brothers and their women will be actively involved in the next book.

Holy freaking crap!!! I loved this book. I was hooked from the beginning and didn’t want to put it down. I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. There were some heart pounding moments and my heart just aches for what Cara went through. Be prepared and have tissues nearby. Cara is Coyote’s sister, so when he finds out that Need is claiming her, let’s just say, he didn’t take it as the best news ever. He will have to deal with it and realize just how perfect Nerd is for Cara. He is the healing balm to all her pain. This is action packed, a twisty and up and down ride and some twists that will shock you. War is coming and those who stand against the DRMC and their allies better watch out! This series is getting better and better and I love it.

Oh hell, EC started Choosing Nerd off with a bang that continued until the very end. I feel like I’ve been waiting for his story forever now and it was written perfectly. I fell even harder for Nerd with this. 🖤🔥😈🔥🖤

This series drives me wild with curiosity each time I read a new book. Nerd and Cara's story blew my mind by the unflinching determination they exhibited. This is one wicked book with all it's twisted turns and talk about being blindsided. I couldn't stop reading it no matter how many interruptions ( Mum's the word).

WOW!!! This story about the Devil's Riot MC just gets better with each story. The story starts with Coyote's sister Cara who has been away at school and is now missing. Nerd who was waiting for the right time to claim Cara while she was away, will do everything he can to find her and claim her as his. When he and his brothers receive a video that show the Dragons Fire MC are the ones who have kidnapped Cara and holding her captive as they have to witness the pain and horrific abuse Cara endured at the hands of these bikers. Now Nerd and his bothers are racing to get to Cara and when they see the condition she is in, Nerd is shattered as his heart breaks for Cara. Cara comes to the decision that she can't go back home and stays with a member from another charter pushing Nerd away. With the help from friends Cara is trying to cope but she is still pushing Nerd and her brother away. This was an emotional story about how Cara is trying to heal, angry for the choices she made, pushing her over protective brother Coyote away and feeling dirty knowing that Nerd will never want her as she is. Its killing Nerd that Cara is shutting him and her family out, but when she reaches out to him, he is faced with the decision that he has waited long enough for her and now is the time for him to claim his woman and bring her back home. Once he makes Cara see that he loves her regardless of what those men did to her he has to show her that with his help he will make her whole once again. Now before Nerd and Cara can tell her brother Coyote that they are together, a confrontation takes place between Coyote and Nerd until Cara tells her brother that she needs Nerd to heal. The tenderness, compassion and love Nerd gives Cara will pull at your heart. Once Cara learns that she can overcome her demons and take control of her life as these men can't hurt her as she is no longer a victim but a survivor. Now she is ready to be with Nerd but is shy as she is still inexperienced with the ways of love, but Nerd will show Cara that with love and patience how a man treats a woman in bed. Now these two begin a relationship full of passion, desire and love. But things will take a turn when Nerd is contacted by a man who once was his friend, Dickerson/Spark the same one who raped and hurt Cara the most is the Pres. of the Dragons Fire MC. When Dickerson informs Nerd that if he doesn't get Stoney and the Presidents from the other charter clubs to give his what he wants, all of the women from these clubs will be in danger as he will do to them what he did to Cara. Racing to get to the club house to inform his brothers of this threat, Nerd and Cara are attacked, will his brothers get to them in time? You will be on edge, holding your breath up to the last page as Dickerson is not done with the Devil's Riot MC yet. Whose family will be in danger next? So many questions are still left unanswered. E.C. Land has again taken her readers on one hell of a ride!

Omg, i love Nerd (Nick). Cara is the sister of Coyote, and is at college when she is kidnapped by some old enemies of the DRMC, Nerd has always been in love with her and is hell bent on getting her back and claiming her. With all that has happened to her she is traumatised as you can imagine. Can Nerd help to heal her, more to the point, will she let him, and with the enemies returned there is war on the horizon.

Coyotes sister Cara has been kidnapped. Nerd has patiently waited for Cara to finish college before he mad his move but now all bets are off. He’s going to find her and make her his. Cara has secretly had a crush on Nick “Nerd” for years but now she feels like she doesn’t deserve him. Nerd has to show her that she’s still the one he wants.
Just an ok read for me. Heroine is kidnapped and brutally raped. She gets help and counseling but it’s Nerd who helps her.

I am not kidding, I need him in my life. Everybody does probably. He always gives us a sense of a know it all, humble young man, when he really has so so soooo much more to offer and can definitely be smug and arrogant. I am all for it. Not to mention when he falls for his one and only. She is so lucky. I am toofor reading their story, aww!!!

Oh my!! Cara goes through some serious s***!! Nerd wants to help her heal and show her how much she means to him! Will she let him in or keep pushing him away? I couldn’t put this book down and can’t wait to read more of this series!

Another great read
I'm so pleased that Nerd and Cara got their happy ending, especially after everything she went through.
I love how this story is panning out and opening up too. Must admit I'm worried about Stoney and Rachael, but fingers crossed for all of the couples.
Can't wait until the next one.

I really love this series it's a great series I love how there's a big arc going through all the books but still a story arc for each individual book as well. The relationship between Nerd and Cara was hot and really refreshing i enjoyed it a lot.

Action packed from beginning to end! Cara is Coyote's sister. Cara goes through an ordeal that leaves her broken, thinking no man will ever want her. Nerd claims her as his woman and with his care and understanding helps her to heal.

Heart wrenching but exhilarating
DRMC just keeps getting better and better. I have loved all the DRMC books and this doesn't disappoint. Wow! Cara surely has a an awesome man in Nerd. The love he has for Cara and the care he gives her. Any woman would love to have a man like Nerd.

Too short!
I love this MC. Love this writer. Feel like we are not getting her best with these stories now. Devils Riot deserves more detailed characters like we got in the first series! This is Nerd for crying out loud! Plot was exciting.however,.with a new war starting.

Cara god bless her suffered so much but Nerd is her life line. Hope in the next book this Dicky jerk gets what's his from all the MC . This book like all the others in the series brings you have heartbreak, tragedy, action but most importantly love and family always

Nerd and Cara.... A big time OMG 🤯. Cara is kidnapped and abused before Nerd could find her including her brother Coyote. Never doubted ECLand to turn it a round but danger is still out there for the MCDR club. Can't wait for the next chapter.😵🍷🔥💥🍹💖🤬

Nerd had stepped in when Cara homecoming date stood her up and after he and some of the MC taught him a lesson one that ended up alienated Cara at school. Cara is Coyotes little sister, and as any older brother would be over protective but add in the MC brothers too it can be too much. Thats why she chose to go to New York for school, but even then she cant escape the MC's troubles. When Coyote learns that Caras been kidnapped, Nerd is straight on to finding her and doing something he should have done sooner, claiming her. I really am glad that Nerd is who he is. I love him and the sass Cara throws towards him just makes me love her more and it solidifies that Nerd is just the right guy for her. Their love was explosive and beautiful! Yep the tears are real and you can feel the emotion coming off the pages! Beautifully written and spectacularly delivered!

I freaking love Nerd. Omg, do I have to choose one? Nerd is a force to be reckoned with especially when it comes to his woman, Cara. These two were always meant to be together until something bad happened. Can Nerd get the there in time? Will they finally get their hea? Danger, angst, steam, can't read fast enough amazingness.

This is the 6th book in the Devils Riot Originals series. This one is about Nerd & Cara. While she's away at school Coyote learns that she's been kidnapped. Nerd goes to bring her home. What they don't know is that she's been beaten, abused and raped by a former friend now an enemy of the MC. They both have feelings but never acted on them. He can't and won't do anything about it because she's his brother Coyote's sister. It's heartbreaking to see what happened to Cara. The love they both have for each other once he claims her is wonderful. I'm glad that they both have come thru this experience together. It's another wonderful story by E.C. Land. Recommend this and all the Devil's Riot books.

This series is really heating up and I’m loving it! Choosing Nerd is a great story, extremely emotional, and is hard to put down. Nick, Nerd, is so precious. He loves Cara so much and when she’s so broken and lost he cares for her and helps bring her back. There’s so much going on in this story, both with Nick and Cara and all their friends and family. An old friend becomes a hated enemy and I can only guess what kind of trouble he’ll stir up next. Love these books, love this writer and can’t wait to see what happens next!

This book started off with a bang and didn't come back to earth until the very last page. I have been waiting for Nerd's book for awhile and Nerd and Cara did not disappoint.

Another book in the Devils Riot MC, I love Nerd and Cara. True love overcomes all things. As these two show, when the s*** hits the fan, love stands tall and finds the solution to the problem. You don't walk away and and look for an easy life.
Devils Riot may have battles to fight but they stand together and get through it.

Be still my heart! Nerd and Cara's story is a testament to real love. It proves no matter what happens, how long it's been, or what they've had to endure, that in the end, love conquers all. These two have danced around each other for years, and it's only when tragedy strikes and danger comes that Nerd gets fed up and decides he's tired of waiting. Cara better on Nerd's coming to take what's his and there's no stopping him.

Another great addition to the Devil's Riot MC: Originals series. I wasn't sure that I would like these characters as much as I did, but E.C. Land did a great job with the characters and the story line kept me reading.
