Murder Has a Heart Cozy Mystery (A Kelly Armello Cozy Mystery, Book 6) By: Donna Doyle Narrated by: Leonor A Woodworth
Kelly is in the middle of another mystery! This one is especially fun because it takes place in a library. A snowstorm puts the end to Valentine plans in Settler Springs, but that is not stopping a murder! Kelly goes to the library to find the body of a man! Dead in the romance section! Now the feelers are out. No one knows who the victim is and the list of suspects is on the rise. It's so much fun as a listener, trying to figure out who the murderer is. Each time I heard an interrogation, I thought I had the answer, but then a twist and a turn and I would change my mind. This one had a romantic setting to it, and it's literally heartbreaking. I loved Kelly and Troy as they maneuver through this case. Kelly can't keep from trying to help while Troy is doing his best to stay professional and by the book. Yes, this murder has a heart, and it's a surprise!
Leonor A Woodworth brings this gem to life with a fun performance. She has an amazing array of voices, and this story used quite a few. Each character had the perfect sound and she kept me captivated until the end.
Kelly is sad because Troy will be out of town for Valentine's Day for work. A major snowstorm is predicted to hit. Troy makes it home earlier than expected. Kelly is shook up when she finds a dead body in the Romance section of the library. The library staff notices things that seem to be connected, that the cops wouldn't have noticed and connected. Donna Doyle has written a well thought mystery. I was fascinated because Kelly is a librarian, and I was one many years ago. Fun read.
After book 5, I thought yet series was ended. I was pleasantly surprised when book 6 came out. This story was a little different, as Kelly wasn’t as involved in the investigation but never less contributed to the capture of the guilty party. Hopefully there will be more stories of Kelly, Troy and the rest of the gang.
