Playing for Keeps

Delano “Del” Greer plays by the rules at all times. Especially after a scandal ruined his career at the police department and threatened to destroy his family’s reputation in his hometown of Providence. Now, he’s focused on establishing Game Changers as a reputable sports bar. Once a staunch adversary of social media, Del puts the success of the bar first and gives it a try, using a fake name of course. When his trial run quickly lands him in a steamy online affair he’s happy to play along, until he learns that the woman on the other end of those hot text messages is his sister’s best friend. Working alongside her father at his auto body shop since she was six years old, Rylan Kent is the polar opposite of her beauty pageant winning sister. She’s been best friends With Camy Greer for about the same amount of time. So imagine Rylan’s surprise when she inadvertently learns the identity of the guy who responded to her drunken chat and continued to share explicit ways he could bring her pleasure. Now, Rylan has no idea how the temperamental and all-about-keeping-up-appearances Del is going to react when he finds out the woman he’s been talking sex with is actually the one he called “greasy-peasy” all through high school.

Delano "Del" Greer and Rylan Kent bring us another episode of the town of Providence.

Del along with this twin brother and a few other young men have been named Providence's bad boys. Rylan fits into the puzzle as Del's sister's best friend. Rylan is as different and unique as they come for what you may expect.

Finding love for these young men will come as a surprise because they are committed to putting their business and each other first. So, image Delano's surprise when he finds his match, someone that has always been right in front of him and through social media; another thing he has had no use for. Game Changers' new marketing strategy has Del chatting with random live viewers...until one catches his attention.

Playing for Keeps offers a surprise love connection and suspense. The author reveals a few layers of the town's secrets as we piece together the real reason this group is such a threat to everyone.

The author did a great job engaging us in this story. I enjoyed the complex journey of this couple. I feel like we've only scratched the surface of the town's mystery and I hope there will be more to come.

I really am enjoying this Game Changer series. Never tried or was interested in the online dating but it seems to work for a lot of people because some have made awesome connections. Hopefully there is more to come.

Friends to lovers is one of my most favorite reading troupes. Del’s sister Terra and Rylan are best friends. Love the oh so hot and sexy text messages that she was sending to Del. Oh ladies be careful if you had too much to drink and you’re sending out sexy text messages. Oh what a surprise when Del found out that the text messages was coming from his sister’s best friend.

Del and Rylan were not looking for love but they found so much more and had such great chemistry and were awesome together.

What about that drama, mystery and secrets in Providence, OMG. Love the bad boy images about Del and his twin brother and a few other men in Providence town.

I received a ARC from the author and also bought a paperback. Thanks A.C.

This town of Providence has some drama and I am here for it.

I know the book is about Rylan and Del learning how to love and becoming a couple, but I was intrigued how the story takes a slice of what is happening in real life America and weaves it into their romance. The pressures and expectations of parents, family, and friends on your life. Or the inherent racism that still exists. Or the basic falsehoods that some people report about POC. All done in a way that not only brings more awareness of these types of stereotypes but also works well with the story line.

Hopefully there are more books coming in this series, because I’ve become intrigued by the small cast of characters and look forward to their stories.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.

REVIEW:

The city of Providence is full of surprise and suspense, next up is Delano “Del” Greer and Rylan Kent.  Rylan Kent is best friend with Del & Lance (Twins) sister. Social Media can be a blessing or curse, Del has never been one to be on Social Media, but the success of Game Changer is his focus now.  While on Social Media he quickly became an online affair, but one of the surprises is that his online affair is with his sister best friend.

When they both find out who their online affair has been with, they are both shocks to say the least, but they soon find out that they can’t stop thinking about each other.  I love the support they get from their friends.  Each of them both come with baggage Del from when he was DEA, and a childhood enemy who is a pain in the A$$, and Rylan having to deal with her father, mother and sister.

I am looking forward to the next installment of Game Changes.

Opposites attract.

Del and Rylan story was very good. I especially liked Cam and twin Lance. All

of the brothers/friends brought something to the table. Rylan's mother and sister were too bougie for me. Hateful Mal kept trying to antagonize Del to the end. The good thing about Del and Rylan relationship is that they were friends
and Cam, Del's sister, were best friends growing up with Rylan. I was happy Del and Rylan were able to salvage their relationship. I am wondering if Cam and
Rock are next.

Secrets unfold

Del and Rylan grew up together as friends since she was his baby sisters best friend. Even then she had a crush on him. They both decided to get on a dating app just to see what would happen. Unbeknownst to them the choose each other. So this is the beginning of something that will have ups and downs but in the end the will agree to stick with it. Finding out what true love really is❤❤❤!!!! Excellent book two🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!!!! Waiting for the remaining 4 brothers and Camy's stories🤗🤗🤗🤗!!!!

GameChangers fan 4 life

Two books in and I think I’m really going to love the Game Changers series a lot. This story was super sexy cute mixed with a lil drama. I mean can a girl ask for me. I like how it took a DM to spark a “thing” that both Rylan and Del needed but didn’t see coming. I truly enjoyed my return trip to Providence, VA and can’t wait to see what happens next. I’d recommend this story to friends and strangers alike.

Enjoyed reading book two in the Game Changers series. Delano Greer is the next friend to find love in this installment. Little did he realize he would find it with Rylan Kent. Del is not a social media guru but engages in a chat conversation unbeknownst to him, Rylan is the recipient. The attraction is evident once identities are known and sparks fly.

This was a good quick read and the story flowed.

Really enjoyed it

First I hope there are plans for the other brothers story and Camy. What started as an online connection turned into so much more. Del and Rylan were worried what everyone else would think about them being together but just went with what they were feeling and found love. And what is with Naomi not answering her phone, is the engagement off ?

absolutely fantastic

This book is the truth! I loved how the two came together and how they got back together. Friends to Lovers are some of the best love stories and they make your heart skip a beat. Always an amazing job A.C. I am looking forward to reading the remaining characters story, I know they will be just as exciting.

Playing for Keeps

Since reading book one of the Game Changers I couldn't wait for the second book and I wasn't disappointed. What started off as chance meeting on a app turns into love. I didn't dislike anything because the struggles made the story. I recommend this book to everybody that feels that they are not enough.

Excellent read

Excellent read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. Del and Rylan knew each other since childhood. Their relationship was unexpected by both of them. It was anonymous attraction via social media, that evolved into a compatibility and love they couldn’t deny.

Loved it

I had never read AC Arthur before.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved how the heroine was a little rough around the edges. Those stories make me happy.
Great work! I can't wait to read more
