This was my first book from this author. This one was about Brooke and Charlie. I had no idea that it was the third book in the series and I honestly didn't feel like I was missing anything from not reading the first two. I loved the characters, I loved that it was written in the first person point of view, which is always a deal breaker for me. A good story and I will read more from this author in the future.

This story had me from the very start. My heart was torn apart for Brooke, her story, what she’s lost in her life. I was right there with her and loved every second. I adored Charlie, that hunk neighbor. I loved the ups and down, I loved the flow. I enjoyed the read and it’s a great read for a great escape.

The chemistry is explosive and it may just have burned by Kindle while reading. Brooke and Charlie had amazing chemistry and they're complex with more than meets the eye. I enjoyed reading and practically read it in one sitting.

Loved this story

Burn is the third book in the It's Getting Hot In Here series and get ready to set our Kindle ablaze with this one by L. Nicole. The story is about Brooke and Charlie who become neighbors when she moves to a new town. Brooke has a history with fire that is tragic and Charlie is a firefighter who has a burning desire for her. But he is not the only one as first his dog has some fun with Brookes dog. But Brooke is hesitant even though she is attracted to Charlie.
This is a drama filled and emotional story which has a lot of hot and steamy passion. I loved both characters as they were so right for each other and even though their first meetings were not so good they ended up in a place that was perfect for their characters, and their dogs.

I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

This was the third book in this series and I had no trouble with it even though I hadn't read the previous two though I have now bought them It is a fast read that took about an hour to read With plenty of romance and steam and a little bit of dram a it kept me entertained and was a perfect escape.

Brooke wanted to get away from the memories so she has moved to a nee town and is trying to start over She has a instant connection when she meets Charlie after their dogs have a run in Charlie is a local firefighter who knows something is missing from his life once he meets Brooke he knows what that thing is She is determined to keep him at arms length but he is nothing but determined can he get her to let her walls down and can they have a future you will have to read to see

Loved it! First off, Charlie's name is priceless! I about died laughing when I read the whole thing. Second, Charlie's dog Snoopy and Brooke's dog Sophie are adorable and spotlight stealing. There are several scenes that made me laugh, some that made me cuddle my own dog. Third, I really appreciated how Brooke's background was treated sensitively. Her tragedy is something she lives with every day, and that wasn't handled lightly. And Charlie's response to finding out was perfect. Loving and supportive and caring and exactly what Brooke needed. Brooke and Charlie have amazing chemistry, amusing encounters, but more than that, a soul deep love. Very much worth your time and effort. Happy Reading!!

This was a really cute read. Brooke has been living with guilt from her past and decided to move to a new town. Charlie is a firefighter who is starting to think he is missing something. These two get off to a rough start when their dogs have encounter. Charlie knew right away that Brooke was for him but she tried to keep him at arms length. Lots of tension and drama in book but it has steam and a really sweet heroine and alpha who both finally get their HEA. I would recommend this book.

A captivating and emotionally deep book three in the It’s Getting Hot in Here series! The story-line is well written, fast pace, consistent, engaging, and well developed with drama, humour, ups and downs and a number of issue to over come. The characters are likeable and real; their chemistry is instant and off the charts. A recommended read!

Brooke's story is centered around lost and pain, she is doing her best to restart her life when she moves. Charlie is Brooke's new neighbor, but he has not given a good first impression when his dog, Snoopy, has some fun with Brooke's dog. Although the start of relationship was rocky, they end was hot, loving and caring.

This was an entertaining story that you will enjoy reading.
