Logan
I’ve known Avery since she was born. Hell, she’s my best friend’s daughter.
I knew that Avery and I had forged an unbreakable bond over the years.
What I didn’t realize was that I’m in love with the curvy, beautiful woman she has become.
Will her dad try to kill me?
I can handle anything if only Avery loves me back.

Avery
I don’t remember when I fell in love with Logan.
He’s not just a ruggedly handsome flight captain; he’s my best friend.
He’s also quite a bit older than I am.
Does age really matter when a couple belongs together?
How can I make Logan see me as a sexy woman?

Confusing.

I don't know of the chapters are arranged oddly on purpose or it was an accident but the story line got a little jumbled up.
Also a little weird a grown man falling for a 16/17 year old. Was kind of hoping they jumped a few years to her being a little older before they "fell in love".

I liked Logan as a character but Avery seemed too young and immature for him. However, it did a fast forward at the end so that she finished HS and went to flight school. Since her parents weren’t included at the end it was tough to get a real read on their thoughts.

Too Cheesy!

The Whole Story Line Was Just Too Bland. Not That Older Men Don't Fall For Younger Women But There Was Nothing Exciting About This Story And Way Too Predictable

Your story follows too much of the basic pattern; of too many stories.

It's a May/December romance. There is a twenty year difference between Logan and Avery. While both are determined that they are in love with each other, I have to wonder about it. It reminds me too much of the teenage romances I read as a kid despite the age difference.

Avery is the daughter of Logan’s best friends Liam and his wife Emma. Being that the were more in the corporate world being available for Avery at all times was not possible. So, since infancy Logan has been there as her adopted uncle and best friend. Logan is a pilot and could make a more flexible schedule to accommodate her needs. Being an only child Avery was used to having her way and undivided attention which mainly came from Jason.

At ten she figures out that Logan can’t always be at her beck and call due his job constraints and that’s when her tantrums started. As her adolescent years hit, especially sixteen, she was not fitting in or wanting to fit in with her classmates. Her friendship with Logan became strained she inadvertently introduced him to his longtime girlfriend her very own teacher. So, when he drops the bomb that he is moving to Chicago with her teacher to open his flight school business her is angry and she cuts off all communication with Jason and her teacher.

Now, the odd thing was before he met the teacher you get the impression he had feelings for Avery also. But then this about face happens so your like wow! You’ll need to read to see how this all pans out. I give this: 5 stars. Received during July book giveaway.

This was very disappointing. There was so much that could have been done with the premise of this story, and none of it happened. This read like a classroom assignment that was filling in check marks in order to fulfill the requirements. There was little to no world or character building. The narrative voice came off as almost a journal or diary entry. Characters are introduced and just thrown away after, though to be fair there are more books in the series that might bring them back. People and situations are just thrown into existence with no build up or explanation. At one point it reverses in time with no indication that it was doing so, leaving me confused. I've never seen a book only tell things and not show them until now. In fact, the only reason I didn't give this one star is because I didn't notice any typos or any glaring grammatical errors. I won't be bothering with the other stories and I wouldn't recommend this book as anything other than a guide on what *not* to do.

his is my first book by this writer. It is about an older man Logan a friend of Avery's father and hers. When he starts dating an Avery teacher, a hole falls and she drops him but also her teacher ..

Finally now there is a distance between them has arisen and she shuts him out, does he find out that she is the one for him after all, but will it not be too late and can they find their way back to each other? To find out, you have to read the book and find out if the younger woman and the older man will find each other and succeed.

providing an honest review after receiving a complementary copy from the author via BookFunnel.

this one was a huge miss for me and I did not finish it.

There can be something very sexy about a taboo relationship But this one was gross the older guy baby sat her from the time she was a newborn, so he would have changed her nappy and given her baths etc how could you be romantically interested in some one with that much of a caregiver role in the back ground.

There are plenty of books with similar story lines out there read one of them and give this one a miss would be my recommendation.

This was a good read. It was well written and a fast paced read. It has the older man with the curvy younger woman. It has no cliffhanger with a happily ever after. I really enjoyed this read. I received this as an arc and I am leaving my honest review

A cute love story. Logan and Avery had to go through a lot to get to their HEA but it was a sweet short read.

I received a free advanced copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a fair and honest review.

Wait, what?

The time line jumps all over the place, making it really hard to follow. Also, it focuses way to much on her as a kid and not much on her as an adult, amping the ick factor.
