This magnificent short Tale of Weird Florida makes it rather obvious that in the home of Eugene Law, Porter’s boss. She thinks the yard is dying, because the sprinkler’s don’t work.
So she makes sure her husband will fix the sprinklers.

But the yard is filled with Grellics, pixie-like fairies who thrive on people’s frustrations. Not to mention his nauseating neighbor Ted is around. Which is pretty frustrating for Gene, to say the least.
Dinner party for the frustration fairies.

So, in no time, this hilarious story is filled with frustrated people making a total mess of the yard, and of each other.

I loved, loved, loved this story. Martin Shannon is a truly fantastic writer, with endless amounts of humor and creativity.

And now, let’s go plant some rosemary.
Just to be certain.
