We are sorta back into the Until world..

Rex has always been busy and he works at a strip club bartendering that's that's he sees Emilia a girl who replaced a waitress and he's ready to make her his. But it's not easy she does turn him down and tries to keep her distance since she has allot on her plate shes taking care of her brother who is ill and works 2 jobs now. So she has no time for men, like that stops Rex nope he does take it slow with her and offers to help her and her brother their relationship becomes more and they work together ❤

No ow/om drama, tiny drama, No cheating, slight secondary character, sexy times, virgin gal and no manwhore

DNF; condom use

This book was soo hard for me to get thru. I don’t know what it was, maybe the fact the hero is working at a sleezy strip club as a bartender, surrounded by skanky females, and then the heroine gets a job there as a waitress (NOT a stripper, otherwise I would’ve DNF’ed immediately) but it just left an unsettling feeling in my gut and I kept putting the book down and coming back to it, just so I could get it finished.

THEN, when we finally get to the steamy bits, the entire love scene is ruined by rubbers. I DONT want to read a romance where there is a BARRIER between the hero and heroine. I DNFed so fast I should have whiplash.

While this one was just okay for me, it did have many things I enjoyed. Rex is a bartender at a club where Emilia starts working. All it took was one look… and Boom. I always love seeing the guy get slammed with the ‘I-don’t-know-WTF-just-happened-but-I-must-have-her’ feelings toward the girl. And watching Rex fall harder and harder was sweet and swoony and adorable.

With the crappy life she’s had recently, Emilia is very hesitant to start anything with anyone, even though she can’t help but feel something for Rex. Not only is he kind and helpful, but he’s great with her young brother.

Rex is determined to prove to Emilia he’s there for the long haul. He’ll do whatever it takes to get the girl.

I did feel this story was somewhat predictable, but that didn’t stop at all me from liking the story. It was a quick and sweet read that gave me plenty of smiles.

Emilia was barely hanging on. She had to leave her studies behind when her mother up and left her little brother with a neighbor and just disappeared. Now she was home and taking care of him and trying to keep her head above water. She loved her brother and would do anything for him, especially when his medicines prices went up and she had to take a job at a strip club.

From the moment that Rex sees Emilia he knew that she was the one for him. He wanted to take care of her and love her and be her person. But Emilia was independent and she is so used to taking care of herself and her brother that its hard for her to let someone else in besides her two friends. But Rex was not going to give up he just needed to make her see that she couldn’t live without him 😊

This was a short story filled with some sad parts, lots of happy moments, definitely some alpha tendencies and a little angst towards the end. I loved how easy it was for Rex to just fall into Emilia’s life. He didn’t bat an eye when he met her brother and saw her devotion to him. And in the beginning it was hard for Emilia to depend on anyone especially after living with her mother and seeing her relationships with men. But Rex didn’t give up and he just kept on showing her how much he wanted to be there for her and Spencer 😊 All in all it was a feel good romance that I was totally invested in from the start to finish 😊 ♥

I love the Mayson Curse aka the Boom. This series is one of my favorites, and always puts me in my happy place. And this book was just as sweet, cute and adorable as the others. He sees her when she walks into Teasers for her first day on the job, and he knows right away that he wants her. When he takes care of her feet after a night in heels...sign me up...and then carries her so she doesn’t have to walk...swoon...double dibs. I mean, I may of actually proposed to him just for that...just sayin. He had me saying “awe” a lot in the book. He is just a great and swoon worthy guy, and she deserves every bit of it. She is the sweetest and most selfless and person, these two are perfect together.

Safe read, with two of the sweetest relationship goals couples I’ve read. I guess maybe sweet with a side of naughty😉. Great storyline, and we get to read about quite a few of the Maysons, and gain some new favorites, like her sweet brother Spencer, her roommates and his best friend Nash. And we get 5 and 10 years into the future, which I loved and a great hea. These two just put me in my happy place.

Shaw Hart has never been on my radar before but you can bet after this beauty they are now. I adore ARR's Happily Ever Alpha World and y'all this was a really good one on it. Taking it back to when we briefly met Rex in Until Trevor, we are getting his story and y'all I was here for it all.

Until Rex was crazy good and I didn't put it down for a single moment. From the moment Rex and Amelia meet, they find the boom 💥 is real and nothing can stop it now. These two will pull at your heartstrings and leave you with heart eyes, swooning for it all. Packed with heart and heat, this is a must read for fans of the Until series by Aurora Rose Reynolds.

I highly recommend this book.

Until Rex by Shaw Hart is a book set in the Aurora Rose Reynold’s Happily Ever Alpha world. It's set during Until Trevor timeline where we get Rex and Emilia's story. The Boom hits Rex immediately when he sets eyes on Emilia whom he meets at Teasers where he works and now, she works as a waitress. She picked up this 2nd job to help support her little brother. Emilia's never had any male step in or up for her when it comes to her life's problems. Yet here's Rex and he's immediately right there. The journey they go through to get to their beautiful HEA was quite enjoyable. Always good to be in the Maysons' and friends world. Look forward to the next book.

I'm loving all of the books from this series. I love getting to know new authors and Shaw Hart is one of the new authors to me. I loved reading Rex and Emilia together and their instant connection. Rex knew the first time he saw Emilia, she was the one for him. I don't know why I always got butterflies when that happened in a book. it's so swoony though! I highly recommend this one.

Emilia has a rough childhood with a mother who didn’t care and was always hoping from man to man, things got real bad when the mom leaves her younger brother Spencer with a neighbor and doesn’t return for him. Emilia drops out of college to take care of him, he has cystic fibrosis. To make ends meet she works at a cafe during the day and has to get a job as a waitress at the town strip club. There she meets Rex, he is an artist who paints houses during the day and is a bartender at the strip club at night. We see a bit of the Mayson men, and we hear about the boom. Rex feels the boom for Emilia. She’s attracted to him too but she has a full plate with two jobs and taking care of Spencer. She lucky to live with two friends, Scarlet and Lucy, who also help with taking care of Spencer on nights she has to work. Rex asks her out but she declines, he’s not deterred, he knows she his one. I liked that Rex was celibate and not a manwhore, Emilia was a virgin. He is there helping her with little things, trying to show her that he’s all in with her. He’s so sweet to her and he bonds with Spencer too. They start to date and everything is going well, their sexy times are sweet, later become really steamy. Drama when she finds out her father hadn’t died when she was younger, he just recently passed away and has left money in a trust for her and Spencer. Finding out about the money the mom comes back demanding Spencer. Rex’s best friend, Nash is a lawyer who helps make sure Emilia doesn’t lose her brother. Rex is so awesome throughout the whole thing, he confesses his love and asks her to move in with him. Lots of I love yous and a proposal. Epilogues five and ten years later with Emilia able to go back to college and get her graphic design degree, Rex being recognized as an artist and Spencer graduating high school. And two little girls for them.

I know that Aurora Rose Reynolds had a sort of book world where different authors wrote stories for minor or secondary characters from her series! I had been wanting to read them all and the synopsis of this one intrigued me, so I grabbed a copy and read it once I had the chance! After reading, I can say that I enjoyed this book, but I also had a few issues with it! The romance was very instalove and allowed for quite a few seriously hot scenes! I think it was too instalove, but overall I enjoyed the love between the two main characters! I would also like to point out that the main female character changed from jeans and a sweater to a dress as the the scene progressed! I'm not sure if I'm the only one who noticed this or if I honestly missed the scene change lol! There was also a bit of action and suspense in the plot, but I wish that it had played a bigger role throughout the plot because it was quite close to the end! The characters were also great and really made the plot better! Emilia was the main female character, and I felt for her in this book because she worked two jobs to provide for herself and her brother and she did struggle! Emilia tried her best though and she was surrounded by close friends and her love interest! I really liked Emilia and I felt like she was mature for her age and she wanted what was best for her brother!She grew a lot in this book as well! Rex was the main male character and love interest of Emilia! I loved Rex in this book and he had a good job and had a nice family! He was also very alpha male and seriously hot, which I loved! I also loved the way he was with Emilia! It was easy to see that he had strong feelings for her as soon as he saw her and he was very protective of her as well! He also supported her with her brother and helped Emilia as much as he could! I loved that this book was written from both Emilia and Rex���s point of views! I was hoping that it was going to be before I started reading and the synopsis gives the impression that it’s going to be! I loved that it was because it helped me connect and understand Emilia and Rex more and see their feelings for each other grow! It allowed for more things to happen in the plot as well, which helped as they did go through some situations separately! This book is a complete standalone, so the ending was wrapped up and all the questions raised were answered! I also loved the ending and where the author left Emilia and Rex's story! It really summed it up! I now can't wait to read more books set in this book world! There's already quite a few released, so I can't wait to check them out and give them a read soon! I can't wait to learn more about future books as well! I also love the cover for this book a lot! It drew me to check out the synopsis when I saw it and it suits the other covers in the book world! The cover models are also the perfect Emilia and Rex!

Until Rex by Shaw Hart is another excellent addition to Boom Factory's Happily Ever Alpha World. I loved that Until Rex took place during the Until series timeline, specifically during Until Trevor by Aurora Rose Reynolds.
Rex is just living his carefree bachelor lifestyle, and he enjoys it. He works at the strip club Teasers as a bartender, he paints houses for his buddies at Mayson Construction, and in his spare time he paints art to feed his artistic side. He's completely fine living this life day in and day out and then he meets Emilia and he suddenly wants more, from life and from her.
Emilia is doing everything she can to keep her life going as smoothly as possible. She's taking care of her younger brother after her mother just left him, having to drop out of college to do so, she's paying for his increasingly high medical bills and working constantly to stay ahead. When her roommate and friend, Scarlett, tells her about the strip club that she works at is looking for a waitress she jumps at the chance to earn some extra cash to cover the cost of her brothers medicine. While at work she mets bartender Rex and she feels an attraction to him but she knows he doesn't have the time for a man like that.
Rex is determined to prove to Emilia that he's there for her, no matter what she throws at him. Raising a little brother? No problem, he loves kids. Works two jobs and long hours? He'll work around her schedule to see her. The list goes on and on how he proves to her that he won't leave her like her parents did. But can Emilia look beyond her past to see their future together?
I really enjoyed Until Rex because we briefly got to meet him in Until Trevor and now we can see an entirely different side to a world that I already loved and loved going back to. I loved the side characters that Shaw Hart created, ie Emilia's BFFs and roommates Scarlett and Lucy, they were great and even though by the epilogue they had their HEAs I'd love to read the books of their stories.

4 Rex and Emilia Stars

Out of all the Happily Ever Alpha World books I have read so far, this one is one of the few that has had the same feel to it as Aurora Rose Reynolds' style of writing and I really , really enjoyed this sexy, sweet , heart tugging romance. If you want a quick read and like insta love / lust all mixed up with a gorgeous alpha Hero who falls for our heroine hard and fast , then snap this up.

Emilia is 21 and had to drop out of College to care for her 9yr old brother , Spencer, when their Mum took off and abandoned him. They live with Lucy and Scarlett and all three girls work hard but are close friends. When she is desperate for money she agrees to take on a second job as a cocktail waitress at Teasers , the local strip club. And there she meets the bartender, Rex , who is also juggling two jobs whilst trying to continue with his first passion which is painting. For those that have read Until November ,Teasers is the Club owned by November's Dad. It has cameo's from the Mayson men and November.

This was a pretty fast paced story that I read in a morning on my day off and it was a morning well spent. Good little dollop of drama toward the end.

HEA? Yes - beautifully done and left me beaming from ear to ear.
Cheating? Hell no. Rex is a smitten kitten from the very beginning.

This book exists within the Happily Ever Alpha World and takes place around the time that Until Trevor takes place. Rex is an artist, but to make ends meet he works for both Mayson Construction and Teasers, so we a little bit of the Mayson men. Emilia is down on her luck, her mother abandoned her brother when she was just starting out at NYU on scholarship and she had leave school in order to take care of her younger brother who is struggling with a serious illness. To make ends meet, she takes a second job working at Teasers where she meets Rex.

This is an instalove book- Rex takes one look at Emilia and feels the Mayson curse and BOOM - realizes immediately Emilia is it for him. What follows is an incredibly sweet, light romance as Emilia and Rex get to know each other as well as the circle of people in both of their lives.

This is a very quick, light, sweet romance. Probably what I struggled with most was that although it's very well written, it's almost too sweet and light and the angst that occurs at the end is thrown in at the very end and feels slightly rushed. But if you are looking for a quick, sweet romance that is a safe read - this is definitely for you!

This is my first book by Shaw Hart and it will not be my last. I loved this book! I read it all in one sitting because I could not put it down.

Emilia is a 21 year old just trying to make it in life. She has custody of her 9 year old brother and she is trying to make a good life for them. She works at a dinner, and when her brother's medicine goes up she decides to help waitress at a strip club. Rex is a bartender at the strip club. He is working their to make ends meet even though he is really an artist. When Rex meets Emilia it is love at first sight. He goes all alpha and states that she is his even though they have not spoken a word to one another. Emilia is hesitant to get into a relationship with Rex with everything going on in her life, but when she gives in, Rex is everything she needs and more.

I really enjoyed reading this story. Rex is the perfect book boyfriend. He takes it all at Emilia's pace, and does the perfect thing by just being there. Her bother loves him, which makes Emilia fall for him even more. He did whatever he could to make her life easier. Emilia was a strong character as well. She has a lot of her plate, but she kept her head above water and did whatever she had too. She did not jump into a relationship with Rex, she took her time.

This book was a great addition to the Happily Ever Alpha World.

Until Rex by Shaw Hart is a part of the Happily Ever Alpha World series and it ABSOLUTELY hit me with the BOOM I know I can expect and that will be delivered upon! And it was beautiful.

Emilia and Rex definitely hit me in the FEELS. I adore how much love and compassion Emilia has, even when circumstances keep trying to keep her down. She wants the best for the people she loves the most, and bends over backwards to make it happen. Her attraction to and chemistry with Rex? Not on the cards, and not something she can justify at the moment. But, fate has other plans!

And Rex? Loved him getting hit with the BOOM stick, and his instant attraction and connection, and devotion. He's charming, he's sweet, he's alpha and possessive, and it's all wrapped up in the most delicious package!

There's moments of tension, all kinds of love showcased from romantic to friendship and more, and the fast pacing of this story will have you devouring it in one sitting! I know I couldn't put it down!

So, if you're looking for something that delivers on that instalove connection, strong and endearing characters and do everything they can for their loved ones, and a devout love and appreciation of pizza, Until Rex is the book for you!

This was a super sweet read, safety guaranteed, and it had the cutest ending. I had to pick up Until Nash immediately after finishing Until Rex because I AM OBSESSED with this group of friends. Rex and Emilia were sooooo into each other, and had the best relationships with Emilia’s little brother Spencer. I loved the main couple, but I’m also so intrigued how Scarlett and Lucy’s stories will go now that Emilia got her HEA.

Just fyi if you haven’t read Until November ( the og book that started the Until Universe) you should know her dad owns the strip club Teasers. It has always been mentioned that it’s a classy joint and never have been sleazy at all. So if you are someone that can’t handle that just don’t read the book and avoid trashing someone’s book that just has one tiny aspect in the story that you don’t like. Both Rex and Emilia are servers at Teasers so it’s mentioned that they never were interested or looking at others that worked in the club. It was simply a I need a job and this is what’s available in a small Tennessee town. Anyways I just wanted to say this because I don’t fault authors for my personal triggers, and this should be a safe place to say this.

Rex a struggling artist who works at a strip club with Emilia, the new waitress at work. Emilia has had a hard time of it. Her mom decided to ditch her sick brother at a neighbor’s causing Emilia to lose her scholarship in order to take care of him. A role she cherishes. But with medicine prices rising, cars that need fixing, and food to still put on the table, it’s been wearing her down. Emilia doesn’t think she has enough time to start something with Rex despite how sweet and wonderful he is. Rex knows as soon as he meets her that she’s the one and he’s going to prove to her he’s worth her time and energy and even wants to help shoulder her burden.

Until Rex is an über sweet, insta-love novel set in the Aurora Rose Reynold’s Happily Ever Alpha world. The heroine is self-sacrificing and the hero, always there when she needs him. It’s a cute tale if you’re looking for a break from more angsty reads.

Believe In The Boom!

Aurora Rose Reynolds Happily Ever Alpha World features Author Shaw Hart "Until Rex" was a marvelous book in this series. In this book we meet characters Rex and Emilia. Emilia is a twenty year old woman who is taking care of her young brother, and have seen better days. Emilia grew up with a rough childhood. She is a phenomenal sister to her young brother Spencer who she takes care of 24/7.

Rex is twenty-eight and paints for a construction company and works at a bartender during the week and is an inspiring artist. He meets Emilia "the new girl" for hire and BOOM! Love is in the air for Rex. Rex immediately wants to protect Emilia and take care of all her needs. He knows Emilia is the one for him, and goes out of his way to show her. What a catch you guys!

Emilia does hesitate to trust Rex and have doubts of Rex true feelings. It was great to see how these two get their happily ever after. I was rooting for Rex to get his girl all through the book. This book will have you swooning all day! 5-stars rating!

{Rex & Emilia} (triggers- child abandonment, illness). I feel almost like a broken record with this continued connected series. The only connection I read in this book is the club “teasers” and the club's owner, Trevor. Rex is a bartender/artist working at teasers. Emilia is a woman struggling to take care of a sick child and barely making ends; let alone medications; meet. In need of a second job, her roommate talks to her boss Trevor about getting her a waitress job at teasers. This is where Rex and Emilia meet. There's no mention of the “BOOM” at all. Rex just knows that she's the one for him. There's no element of danger necessarily. Not in the usual way. I would say it's a stressor for the character but it's only two minutes, maybe, of the book at the end. While the book is definitely sweet and slightly spicy, if I hadn't read the original “Until Him/Her” series by Aurora Rose Reynolds, I would've never known this book is connected to the series. So once again, I'm disappointed. I wonder if these authors even read the series before adding their mark. 🤷🏾‍♀️

This is a great read and a great visit back into the original Until crew, but I felt like something was missing. I typically love Shaw Hart books, and never miss a release, but I didn't feel her in these pages. Rex works at teasers as well as for Mayson construction so we get those snippets of the original cast of characters. Emilia is struggling to make ends meet for herself and her brother, who she is taking care of because their mom up and left. I loved the fact that Emilia had to fight for her brother and his needs, I love that Rex was willing to take those needs on without question or thought. But I didn't feel the chemistry between the two. They were great together, but it wasn't what I needed. Maybe I wasn't in the right mind frame for this book at the time because I have read a few books in a row that just didn't work right for me. This is a well written and well throughout book, but I wanted more.

I was pulled right into this story. This is a standalone in the Happily Ever Alpha World brought to you by Aurora Rose Reynolds. The story has suspense, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Emilia and Rex’s story. Emilia has struggled her whole life. She knows she will do anything to keep a roof over her head and food on the table for her and her brother. She wants a lot of things but knows she will never have them. When she meets Rex she wants him but she knows she can’t have him. Why would he want her? Rex knows from just one meeting that he wants Emilia and he will do anything to have her. All his friends have fallen and know he knows he just fell also. Can he prove that he can help her and it’s okay for her to fall for him?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Until Rex is a book that is a part of the ‘’happily ever alpha world’’ collection. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Emilia is a young woman that is the guardian of her little brother. When she gets a second job as a strip club waitress, she meets bartender, Rex. Rex didn’t believe in the boom until he saw Emilia and experienced it himself.
The chemistry between Rex and Emilia is clear to see and I liked them together.
I loved Emilia’s bond with her little brother. Her love for him was clear to see. I loved that Rex understood that and even bonded with him.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

Set around the same time as "Until Trevor", Rex who works at Teasers sees Emilia on her forst night there as a waitress. Emilia is struggling making ends meet to pay for her little brother's medicine and takes a second job there. She is used to men not sticking around from her mother's boyfriends, and is hesitant starting something with Rex, but yiu can't fight the BOOM.

This is a cute story, Rex is a determined sweetheart that is head over heels in live with Emilia, and Emilia is working so hard and just needs someone to take care of her too.

If you like Until Trevor and Until December, you should read this.

Emilia needs another job. Ever since her mother ran off, leaving Emilia’s younger brother with a neighbor, Emilia gave up all of her life plans and has been raising him. The problem is that the cost of his medicine keeps rising and, well, he needs it. So, when one of her roommates mentions that there is a waitress opening at the strip club she works at, Teasers, Emilia knows that she needs to take it. And it might be one of the best decisions she has ever made.

Rex is a bartender at Teasers. Growing up around the Maysons he has seen all of them fall to the BOOM but he didn’t believe in it…until Emilia walked through the doors of Teasers. Now he knows that it is his mission in life to make sure Emilia gets everything she has ever wanted or needed.

Another amazing story in the Happily Ever Alpha world. I loved that we got to see the original Mayson brothers and their BOOMs. This is definitely a quick, sweet read that will make you feel like there actually might be a few good guys still out there!

There is nothing that Emilia wouldn’t do for her brother and that includes withdrawing from college and working two jobs as she struggles to make ends meet. It is at her second waitressing job that Emilia meets Rex, and he quickly shows her that she can count on him to be there for her.

While he tries to get his career in art off the ground, he is working two jobs as well. From the first time he saw Emilia he knew that she was his destiny, and he is determined to show that that together they can overcome any challenges that life throws at them.

Emilia is just trying to do the best she can to ensure that she and her brother can stay together while Rex is everything you could ask for in a boyfriend and so much more.

I was ecstatic when I saw Shaw Hart was going to be adding to the Happily Ever Alpha world. Until Rex is a fabulous addition to the series and is a sweet romance.

Emilia is struggling to stay afloat, after her mother disappears leaving Emilia to care for younger brother. After finding a second job at Teasers, she meets Rex. Who proceeds to make a place for himself in her life.

Rex is an artist and works two jobs. While bartending at one of them he sees Emilia and BOOM! That’s all it takes to realize the Mayson curse is real.

I loved Rex. He’s such a sweetheart and everything you could wish for in a book boyfriend.

I loved Rex and Emilia! I was sad when they story ended, I wanted more. Definitely pick this story up if you want an awesome read.

Emilia is raising her younger brother after their mother split, and there's nothing she wouldn't do to take care of him. She ends up having to take a job that puts her in the path to Rex, a man who takes one look at her, and falls hard. He doesn't even blink when it comes to both Emilia and her brother which was sweet. However, there are a few bumps in the road since Emilia doesn't want to rely on anyone else but she can't push him away. The more time they spend together the more she starts seeing the amazing man that Rex is so Until Rex is a short(ish) story with a lot of sweet, maybe a little too much for my cynical self but that's just me. Please decide for yourselves by hitting those one click buttons because it's definitely a book worth reading! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Rex is working hard to get where he wants to be in life. Bartending at Teasers is only one of his jobs. He is happy with his life. Emilia needs a second job. Getting a waitressing job at Teasers will surely help her pay her bills. She doesn't have time to date nor does she want to put that kind of trust in someone that will just leave in the end. That is, until Rex.

What a great story!! Rex and Emilia sucked me in immediately! I was so intrigued, I literally could not stop reading. Full of passion, love, sweetness, and just the right amount of angst. This story will steal your heart and make you swoon for sure. Easy 5 stars!
