This is an amusing book, filled with cocktail recipes from the 1800's and forwards.

I enjoyed Jennie's voice, as she explains the history of these wonderfully evocative drinks.

As someone unable to enjoy alcohol, I looked at most of the recipes with longing, as the descriptions were enough to make the mouth water!

A short, but sweet, read.

Sipping and reading are two of my favorite pastimes.

I want a hard copy. The recipes and history details sound accurate without being plagerized. There are a few cocktails that are new to me I want to try. I liked it.

You get one sometimes two paragraphs of history on each drink. It is a good book on how to make the drinks.

I enjoyed this lighthearted, informative book on the "alternative " history of drinks. It was fun and had some unique commentary about cocktails.
