January 29, 2025i feel like a simply can’t rate these books. the story lines are interesting enough and short enough so that it’s always a quick read but there are certain aspects that make me feel grimey while reading. the book literally has the subtitle “hood romance” so idk if this is just a me issue or what

Ok
Once again I'm giving this series a 4 stars because of the errors and the over exaggerated story line. When I first starting reading the continuation of book 1 it was ok, but then when I got to the part about Kendrick being in a coma for weeks and then one day he just happen to wake up, I'm like ok I'm so happy he did but then the dam Author wrote how he got up and ripped off all of his tubes and walked out the hospital after being awake for 30. Like how crazy is that, it was too far fetched and I wanted to scream actually. Anyway since I already reed book 1 and 2 I will read book 3, but I'm not sure I will be reading any more books by this Author.

O.M.G.... And the plot thickens again...
Wow, wow, and wow.... What a series... I don't know why I was procrastinating so much into getting this and start this series because it proves so far to be the best...
Nic, girl, i love you and I am glad you came to your senses just in time before you would have lost your soul mate because he is definitely bae. You really are a child, girl...
Kendrick, yep, I will keep on saying it, your are bae, and bae, and bae all day. You were able to hold off until she came to her senses. I was hoping you were going to just do it and not take this long, but since we needed to fill pages, it's all good, you still did your thing after.
Jessica, man, you truly get on my last nerve and if you lose every thing, well boo-oo to you because you were so wrong on so many level and you have truly become the bottom of favorite girls ever. Ladies, why do you cry over spill milk and when you finally have what you want you don't appreciate. I truly hope you stay alone because that's what you are gunning for.
Kendon, Kendreis, Kayden you guys are so fine and so good and Christy and Morgan you better hold on to them now.
I am so happy that Gina, Paris, French, Tia(unfortunately), all met with Karma and she handled them. Danielle got lucky, but I was hoping she met her as well. Now don't know what's happened to July, but I do hope she wise up befOre she takes on the Kings; and where is Honey and Cadence, hummm, let me find out... This is getting better with every single book, goo job though...

The King Brothers are something else
I enjoyed book 2 a lot more than I enjoyed book 1. I knew that things were going too smoothly for the King brothers, so I was happy that book 2 displayed some of the hardships they had to face navigating their lives as street bosses. Seeing how they dealt with adversity was a great element of the story. They seem to get through things well enough. Life became hectic for Nic and her friends as well. They were used to being wined and dined, but in this book they experienced everything that came with the lifestyle their significant others were living. I'm excited to see what's to come in the next book. I definitely recommend this one to anyone who likes a good hood fairytale.

This part two was something else. They definitely always have someone gunning for them. Micheal was some kind of crazy to think he was going to get away with what he did to Nic. Kendrick is something else he will go to war for Nic I dont get why Micheal would think he'd not get what he had deserved. These brothers are a force to be wrecking with I don't get why ppl keep trying to underestimate them.

Whoa!
This is crazy sometimes they really get on my nerves when the always accusing these Men o f cheating. Toxic relationships in this book drove me crazy but I couldn't put it down! Dang they get rid of one enemy here comes another. I love this story i stop reading another book to e ad this series!

It was okay
I still like the characters but I just feel like it’s too perfect don’t give me . I’m curious to find out what July has in stores for the King Family. I normally hate when too many characters are introduced but I like the way the weave in and out the story line. I’m eager to continue the series.

Mannnn Getting thru these books are a struggle. Initially the story line was interesting but 75% of the book were explicit sex scenes. It seemed a bit over the top. The storyline also lacked depth and was pretty typical. I won’t even bother to finish the series.

The manipulation, jealousy, envy etc. all negative emotions are seen in this book. The ladies were worse than the men. I love have the inner circle of couples are tight though. The outsiders better find something safe to do. This series just keeps better. Headed to book 3.
