Who shot Kendreeis? That's what everyone is trying to figure out. The brothers minds are racing with thoughts of who the potential assassin could be. That is until a mind blowing family secret is revealed, leaving them to have to adjust to an otherwise uncomfortable situation. To make matters worse, their relationships are put to the ultimate test, when secret indulges, lies, infidelity, and neglect rears their ugly heads. Will they last, or will some of the brothers realize they're not dealing with good girls at all.
One of the best written Series I have read. Love all the characters they are well developed. This book continues where part 2 ended with the King family trying to figure out who is out to take them down. There is so much intrigue going on that it make it hard to put the book down. The author will have you emotionally involved where you will find yourself crying at times and at other times laughing at some of the things that one of the brother's might say. I recommend this series because it is a 5 star read.
I don't understand men why do they think of u mess around with a side chick they not going to catch feeling kendon source deaded the shi t baby or not she wasn't wifey come in now
I liked the book but honestly all of the cheating on each other was a little too much, it actually got to be ridiculous. I am hoping the next story is a little bit better.
Everybody in this book got one more time before I jump through the pages myself.
Let me start off by saying: ALL these men got on my last nerve in this book. This repetitive cycle of cheating, a sorry-ass apology, followed by some sex, and boom—we’re “good” again? Y’all. I’m tired. I need these girls to STAND UP. Chrissy might be the only one still applying pressure and standing on some business, but everybody else? Whew.
🍼 Nic & Kendrick:
They’re the most stable couple in this installment. Baby #2 is here and their relationship is solid for now. The only real issue? Kendrick needs to balance his workaholic tendencies and stop neglecting his household. My girl just wants her man present, and I don’t think that’s too much to ask.
🧬 Enter Kendrew King:
The newest King brother slides in from a 24-year-old scandal. Kairio King’s dog-ass cheated on his wife with “friend” Ayumi, and boom—Kendrew exists. This man is a hot-ass mess. Losing his mother was his villain origin story and he’s been spiraling ever since, cheating on his girlfriend Deja like it’s a sport. She catches him multiple times, and still takes him back. Sis… whew. After he cheats with two women at once, I was DONE. But now they’re engaged, and allegedly he’s changed. We’ll see.
🩸 Jessica & Kendon:
TRASH. Absolutely the most dysfunctional couple of the bunch. Kendon finds out Jessica had an abortion (the way he found out? Completely unrealistic—no doctor would be that loose-lipped 😂😂). And how does he handle it? By doing what he always does—going and sleeping with someone else. And of course, the side chick ends up pregnant. AND she’s July’s other sister?! Mess on mess. The way book 3 ends gone have my girl Jessica laid up in the hospital?! I can already tell this is gonna be even more mess in the next one.
💅🏾 Chrissy & Kayden:
These two were riding high until Kayden’s 21st birthday. And let me just say, APRIL—another one of July’s triflin’ sisters—gotta go. She gave him head and that was that. Chrissy had a gut feeling about her from jump and Kayden proved her right. But one thing about Chrissy? She’s gonna STAND. ON. BUSINESS. She made that man work for forgiveness and didn’t let it slide. They had their baby and seem cool now, but I’m not betting any money on their happily ever after. 😂
🧠 Morgan & Dreeis:
Lawd. Morgan was going through it. She was under pressure, yes, but getting addicted to anxiety meds and then spiraling all the way to heroin because she got too close to June (April’s brother) was WILD. I hated seeing her fall like that, but I’m glad she got herself together. Hopefully she keeps it that way and doesn’t let another bozo in her space.
🪦 July & the Sibling Body Count:
Listen… this woman has gotten EVERYONE around her killed. And now the only one left is Adrienne. I’m sure her death is loading because Shvonne don’t let no messy woman survive for too long. With July’s crew outta here, I’m real curious who’s about to step into the villain role in Book 4.
⸻
Final Thoughts: This installment had me irked. Everybody messy, the girls are too forgiving, the men are trifling, and these siblings got more drama than a Maury aftershow. But you know I’m locked in and ready for Book 4. They already working my nerves so let’s see how far they take it 😩.
Book: Good Girls Love Thugs book 3 Author: Shvonne Latrice Genre: Urban Fiction Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🥵🥵
we start this installment meeting deja, the partner of kendrew — and whew, the mess is already mess-ing. turns out kendrew is the secret baby kairio had four years into his marriage with his side chick ayumi. with ayumi gone, kendrew is clearly spiraling. he’s cheating, running reckless, and moving like somebody who desperately needs a wake-up call 🚨.
danielle definitely isn’t wrong for clocking the energy either. when she starts putting pieces together about who might be behind all the chaos they keep getting hit with, you can feel something bigger brewing. meanwhile kayden lying ass found a way to irritate me real quick by conveniently omitting the truth about what really happened between him and april. i was glad to see chrissy stand firm though — she showed she actually has a backbone and made sure he came back correct 👏🏾.
july is out here getting all her siblings caught up, and the drama just keeps stacking. deja hitting april with cayenne pepper absolutely cracked me up because what even was that 😂. but then we shift from funny chaos to straight mess with morgan turning into a pill head. and july throwing adrienne to the fire before she and june met their maker? yeah… i’m definitely curious to see what happens next for adrienne.
overall, this one delivered on drama and shock value, but some of the chaos felt repetitive and a few character choices just made me tired instead of intrigued. it kept me entertained, but it didn’t hit as hard as i wanted it to. solid continuation of the series, just not a standout for me.
Good Girls Love Thugs 3 was such a good read. I was happy to learn more about the other brothers and their relationships with their girlfriends. I like reading more about their cousin Kayden as well. Aside from Kendrick, he seems to be very callous, logical, and even tempered, which is perfect for the lifestyle they live. It was interesting to see how July's plan played out and I enjoyed every minute of it. Nothing was predictable. It was very suspenseful and that ending was very much unpredictable, but so good. I can't wait to see what happens next. I've already downloaded book 4. Shvonne Latrice did an amazing job with this series and I can't wait to see how it all ends. I recommend this book to anyone who loves hood romance stories. You won't be disappointed.
This books get even better and better. This ppl getting more bolder by the minute. July was a dummy seriously for her to think and do what she did but still get done off. I am glad that Kendrew did change his ways though for his family. Kenyon he something else I get you was upset but what Kendrick said was right and am glad they worked it out. Jessica I get it but she should have talked to Kendon before she did it. Adrienne she petty and lame but she gonna get hers because she should have just let it go and did what Kendon asked of her but she couldn't so on to the next book. Cant waittttttt hope Jessica okay man.
I’m loving these books in this series because chile these females is really on some get back action and then all end up dead and didn’t succeed in the plan. Adrienne just made it bad for herself all because of jealousy so she know Kendon is coming for her if Jessica and his baby don’t make it!!!
I love reading. Got into reading while in the 7th grade. So it's safe to saw that I've read thousands of books. Out of all the books I've read over the years. Whether they were a standalone or a series. This is the most drawn out series that I've read. This couldn't been down in the first book or the second.
Relationships are hot and sexy. Storyline is good. The crazy chicks are just that crazy! And I’m low-key tired of the crazy strippers, but they definitely make for a good storyline
I do recommend the series. I finished it in a weekend and now I’m going back and doing the reviews.
However, there is a pattern to the sex scenes which caused me to start skipping over them, because it seemed like the same thing over and over again… But still hot and steamy!
Oh to be Young & IGNORANTLY IN(FLUENCED BY) 'Love' with (BY) A FEW OF (PEDO) THUGS... BOOK 3. Narrators Winston James & Erica Lynne STILL COULDN'T GET THEIR JOBS RIGHT Using THE SAME MONOTONED VOICES FOR ALL THE CHARACTERS where the listeners COULDN'T TELL WHICH CHARACTER WAS SPEAKING JUST LIKE IN THE FIRST TWO BOOKS!
I love the series not gonna lie . If confused was a person it would be Addriene I thought you didn’t even like men right 🤔. Well I’m on to the next book because I hope this isn’t the end for a Jessica and Kendon.
I just couldn't.... i normally love spice and mess but this was just cringy. The level of delusional that these women are and the disgustingly cocky and nonchalance of the men..... it made for a non balanced chaos but not in a way i liked it.....
Every time I think the drama is getting dull here come the bullsh*t!!! These dudes and girls can’t crack a break!!! Then this cliffhanger at the end with Jessica and that ole side chick girl!! Ughhh
Everybody in Baltimore knew the Kings ruled. They had proved it time and time again. What in the world could Adrian have been thinking! On to the next installment.
This is getting better by the book. I’m so excited to get to the next book all I will sayid just download and read bcz the kings are definitely with the read. Happy reading
Yet again a great page turner. The plot just keeps thickening. When will the King's Men catch a break.... Than again this what I love about this series!
