Until Blaze is part of the Happily Ever Alpha World and is by Mayra Statham. First, I want to say that I flippin LOVE this world. I LOVE “The Boom!” Blaze was complete perfection. He was swoony as heck, all alpha, OTT jealous/possessive. When the BOOM hit him, he was a goner, and there was no going back!
Millagros “Millie” Delgado has lost her mother to cancer. They were close and Millie had been her primary care giver. Her mother’s last words were to go and have an adventure. To Live and Love Big! So with the help of a dart, Millie ends up in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She finds a part time job hosting Paint Nites, painting classes at local bars or establishments. But she needs a full time job as well. And she finds one as a receptionist for Broken Eagles Bike Shop, not realizing that the owner was the president of Broken Eagles MC.
“She was my new addiction, one I was sure I would never get over.”
Patrick “Blaze” Kelly loves his life as a member of Broken Eagles MC. He’s a veteran and has found the family he craves with the club. He owns and runs a bar and a tattoo shop. He lives the life of a single MC member, with no ties to any woman. But then it happens. He sees her coming out of the bike shop and BOOM, his life is forever changed.

They may have had a couple of hiccups in the beginning but Blaze knew he would win. He wouldn’t give up. He could be as persistent as it took to win her over. Their feelings grew fast and strong. Millie might not be quite there yet but Blaze knew this was it for him. That she was his forever.
“All you have to do is breathe and I’m happy.”
But not everyone is happy about their newly found bliss. Things start to happen. Blaze in love is one thing. But Blaze in full on protection mode is a whole other level of alpha!
This is a sweet, sexy, oh so very swoony and also suspenseful (there are all my favorite “s” words again) story that I absolutely loved. I have to add that there are a few editing issues that could be easily remedied but I can’t find it in me to take away from my rating because of it. I loved Blaze too much. I love being introduced to new authors in this world. I definitely look forward to looking through Mayra’s work to see what else she has done!

Okay so you know where this is going. But it was a nice journey. I liked both Millie and Patrick. Plus it was nice catching up with the Mayson clan.
So all in all a nice easy romantic read.

Millie is moving to another state since she told her mother she'll start living her life as a promise on her death bed. She's working for Wes (AHHHH WES) at the shop as a secretary. She catches the eye of Blaze, who had his share of women in the past, but one look at Millie he is sprung it takes them a bit to finally meet, and when they do its go But millie has a hard time since there first night he kinda left her in the morning. HE DID LEAVE a NOTE, but she didn't see it thinking it was just one night. It takes Blaze a few times to finally show her he's 10000% wanting a relationship. I love Blaze OTT ALPHANESS!!
They do have drama with an ex club bunny and something more sinster trying to break them up or hurt one of them. I honestly thought it was someone, but he did do it.
Om and ow drama (a ex fk buddy and some guy) no cheating, secondary character, drama, sexy times, no virgins

Ich finde Millie großartig, sie zieht nach Tennessee, weil sie ihrer Mutter ein Versprechen gegeben hat: sie soll ihr Leben nicht vergeuden, es genießen, die große Liebe finden, Motorrad fahren, Tequila trinken und einfach Leben. Diese Versprechen kann sie auf alle Fälle mit Blaze einlösen. Blaze ist der heiße Alpha-Mann, der Motorrad fährt und bei dem es BOOM gemacht hat. Er tut alles für Millie und das ist einfach so schön. Es gibt immer jemanden, dem das nicht passt, was die beiden haben, aber auch das schaffen die zwei ganz großartig.
Bin wieder sehr begeistert, was die Autorin aus den Figuren des Until Universums gemacht haben

I have loved the BOOM since I first read Until November. And then ARR created the Until world. Each book adding to the awesomeness of this series and world. Until Blaze does not disappoint. Ms Statham took a rough biker and made him into a loving, protective, and ultimate book boyfriend. I love Blaze & Millie together. Their story was fantastically delicious!! ~Carole

Nice BOOM story
I did really like this story about a woman who decides to move to Murfreesboro, Tennessee after her mom dies to fulfill a promise to live her life, find love, and ride a motorcycle, though I don't think she did that in this book at all!
She ends up meeting Blaze, who is part of the Broken Eagles MC in which Wes Silver (from Until July) is president. Also in this book are cameos of Nico and his nephew Cobi. It was nice to know that Nico is still a cop and just as hot as he was in his own book, Until Nico.
I would read more books from this author.

The moment that Blaze saw Millie, she brought sunshine to his life. He never thought that he would ever fall in love with anyone until boom he saw her standing in the sunshine. They had a misunderstanding which they worked through and some drama that they weren’t expecting. In the end they made it though the other side happier then ever. They were meant to be which Blaze knew after having that boom sensation. To know what the boom sensation is one needs to read their story to find out. Blaze was known to be a player, but that all stopped as soon as he saw Millie. She was lol he thought of until he got to see her again. While they fell fast it works for them as they are each other’s halves.

Millie’s mother passed away from a fierce battle with cancer,her dying wish was for Millie to go out and live. She had given up pretty much everything to work and take care of her mother. She had a little help from her sister and her grandfather. She leaves California for Tennessee, she gets a job at a MC run auto shop as their receptionist. That is the day Blaze sees her for the first time, he is stunned by her, he feels the boom. She doesn’t see him and they don’t officially meet until a couple of weeks later at a bbq at the president’s house. Blaze who was tending the bar was getting ready to engage with a club girl who he had regularly hooked up with when Millie walks up to the bar to get a drink. The club girl propositions him while Millie is waiting for him to get her some water. The two exchange a few words and she goes back to her friends. He comes over to her at the end of the night, feeling buzzed and brave she flirts with him and they go back to his place for sex. No condom is used, she just watched him with the club girl, who pretty much out right says they have had sex before. The next morning she’s all alone in the apartment, gets mad and leaves. She misses the note he leaves for her because he got called away for club business. When he finally catches up with her the next day and asks her out she turns him down. He’s upset she turned him down, he hasn’t been with anyone since he saw her. Seriously, three weeks without sex and he thinks he’s making a huge sacrifice, insert eye roll. She forgives him and gives him a chance when he gives her the tattoo commemorating her mother. They start a relationship, lots of drama with the club girl who wants Blaze back, and unknown to them all, Millie has a stalker. She’s close to her grandfather who she talks to frequently and a make best friend, who thought he had feelings for her, but later realizes it’s feelings for her sister. She unfortunately can’t keep things to herself and constantly spills the beans to her best friend and grandfather who worry about her and keep trying to get her to move back to California. Meanwhile, Blaze is in love with her and all crazy alpha possessive. Stalker finally strikes and almost kills her, Blaze helps save her. Epilogue with him proposing.

4 Blaze and Millie Stars
Aurora Rose Reynolds is one of my all time favourite authors and Until November is still one of the books I re-read the most. It's a book that shaped a lot of my reading preferences and November and Asher Mayson are in my 'Top Couple Shelf'. Basically , this book set a bar for many that followed.
The Happily Ever Alpha World is a spin off of the Until Series (both the original and the Until Her / Him Series) and it consists of standalone books connected to people in those books. They are written by all different authors. Whilst I have enjoyed quite a few of them , it has been a little bit hit or miss for me. This book , however , was really enjoyable and felt like it was much more in keeping with the way Aurora writes her books.
Millagros 'Millie' Delgado has been left heartbroken after the death of her Mum but one of the things her Mum made her promise , was that she would live her life and have an adventure. Millie leaves California and makes her way to Tennessee where she has a new job working at the Garage owned by Wes Silver , the husband 0f July , from Until July. One of the guys in Wes's MC is Patrick 'Blaze' Kelly and the minute this ex-military , tattoo artist sets his eyes on Millie then the legendary 'BOOM' happens , and Blaze is thoroughly smitten with her.
This story was a fairly quick read but it is packed with passion, drama , some fun , some tears , an element of OW drama and a highly entertaining cat fight. Millie is a really lovely heroine but I liked that she didn't take crap from anyone. Blaze is an alpha hero hell bent on protecting his girl. Does he mess up? A little bit but he redeems himself well.

This is my first book by Mayra Statham, and I don’t think I could’ve gotten a better introduction to her writing, because you know, Blaze aka sexy af biker that’s in the same club as my sexy af biker Wes from Until July. Loved me some Wes, and loved me some Blaze, because he really lived up to his name, he was hot af. He sees her, and BOOM, you know I couldn’t resist that, and clearly neither could he.

I absolutely love the Until world, this is a drop-everything-must-read-series, from Aurora Rose Reynolds main series, to all the authors that write in it. 4.5 Stars!
Whoa baby, before I dive into my love for this book and these characters, can we take a moment to wipe the drool off our mouths and admire that super gorgeous cover y'all. My goodness, talk about WHAT A STUNNER. And then that blurb? I was hook, line and sinker before I cracked this baby open. And what Mayra had between the pages was crazy good.
Until Blaze is a standalone in the Happily Ever Alpha World created by Aurora Rose Reynolds and this might just be a new favorite of mine in this world. I've not read Mayra Statham before, she's a newbie to me, and what a way to be introduced and pop that cherry huh? In one of my favorite author's world. But man I have to say she lit up my kindle right from the start, gave me all of the best feels, had me on the edge of my seat in moments, and had me flipping the pages fast, wanting so very much more from these two.
Blaze and Millie were everything. So much chemistry, so much heat, so much heart with shots of danger and suspense. They gave me an unforgettable, unputdownable journey packed with moments that'll hit you deep and hard.
Yeah, fans of ARR and her Until series will devour this beauty just like I did. This is one BOOM 💥 you cannot miss out on.

Whoa baby, before I dive into my love for this book and these characters, can we take a moment to wipe the drool off our mouths and admire that super gorgeous cover y'all. My goodness, talk about WHAT A STUNNER. And then that blurb? I was hook, line and sinker before I cracked this baby open. And what Mayra had between the pages was crazy good.
Until Blaze is a standalone in the Happily Ever Alpha World created by Aurora Rose Reynolds and this might just be a new favorite of mine in this world. I've not read Mayra Statham before, she's a newbie to me, and what a way to be introduced and pop that cherry huh? In one of my favorite author's world. But man I have to say she lit up my kindle right from the start, gave me all of the best feels, had me on the edge of my seat in moments, and had me flipping the pages fast, wanting so very much more from these two.
Blaze and Millie were everything. So much chemistry, so much heat, so much heart with shots of danger and suspense. They gave me an unforgettable, unputdownable journey packed with moments that'll hit you deep and hard.
Yeah, fans of ARR and her Until series will devour this beauty just like I did. This is one BOOM 💥 you cannot miss out on.

I truly enjoyed this biker love story. It had some great moments, emotions, and humor. I really liked the storyline and I loved the epilogue. I had a smile on my face many times and cracked up a few as well as teared up. There were a few editing errors with words... but overall, an enjoyable read.
I loved that:
1. Blaze didn’t play games and knew what he wanted.
2. Millie had a good backbone.
3. Millie’s conversations with her family and BFF.
4. Sweet moments with the couple.
5. Some good sexy times with the couple.
My only wishes are that:
1. The story had more depth
2. Some things weren’t glossed over
3. Some moments should have been shown instead of jumped over and summed up.
4. Parts of conversations weren’t throw aways and we had more information with them.
4. We could have seen more of an outcome with Tara instead of her falling off the pages.
5. We had more of Millie spending time at her job for the MC President, more time with her friends on pages, and that we saw her & Blaze have more time with Mondo, and more clubhouse & MC brother times.

I don't know how Mayra did it, but she made me feel so many things reading this. I started and couldn't stop until I was done. Within the first couple pages I was already crying like a baby because my heart just couldn't take it. Blaze and Millie stole my heart. They're adults and know what they want and you don't have to question their feelings because you feel them. Blaze doesn't beat around the bush and I loved that. The author did a fantastic job with Aurora's characters too as we get to see so many more Maysons and their partners. There is love, suspense, some danger, drama and the family I can never get enough of. The story flows so seamlessly and now it's going into my list of one of my favorites.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved Millie and Blaze. Blaze is alpha hero material. I loved how protective he is of Millie. He had me swooning a few times. Millie was breaking my heart in the beginning, but something so beautiful came from it. Blaze and Millie had great chemistry. They are burning up the pages hot. Though this book brings the steam and feels it also has some angsty suspenseful moments. It was beautiful watching Millie really spread her wings and live up to the promise she made. This is a well balanced book that will have you gobbling up the pages. Some of my favorites from Aurora Rose Reynolds' world pop in.

Until Blaze gives us the Boom factor in epic proportions. Blaze and Millie are drawn to each other like a moth to a flame. This is an emotional story that has you on the edge of your seat as drama and suspense unfold. Their story has chemistry blazing and the heat and the steam igniting the pages. A promise leads to Millie finding her happiness and Blaze finding his heart. A story that has you enamoured right from the start and unable to put it down.

Blaze was great. Millie was great. And the whole round of support characters were also great.
Emotional at times, sweet, sexy and thrilling. Romantics at heart will enjoy the semi-Insta love and journey to their HEA.

I read this new author because I love the until series and decided to take a chance. I am so glad I did because this was a sweet, beautiful story and it DEFINITELY did the until series justice.

Lebendiger und unterhaltsamer Schreibstil sowie eine heiße Liebesgeschichte machen diese Lovestory lesenswert!

An ihrem Sterbebett hat sie Millie das Versprechen abgenommen, dass diese ihr Leben fortan genießen soll, sich eine neue Arbeit suchen und die große Liebe finden soll. Also macht sie sich auf, um diese Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Schicksal führt sie nach Tennessee und geradewegs als Empfangsdame ins Broken Eagles Bike Geschäft und dort trifft sie auf Blaze, heiß, tatöwiert und mit Sicherheit ein Bad Boy. Den läßt sie erst mal abblitzen. Aber Blaze weiß genau was er will, denn es hat BOOM gemacht. Und somit beginnt für ihn seine größte Herausforderung, nämlich sie zu überzeugen, dass er der Richtige für sie ist?

Vom Stil bzw. vom Foto und der Schrift her passt es zu den anderen Teilen dieser Reihe, und es ist auch farblich sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Daher hat das Cover einen hohen Wiedererkennungswert.

Ich selber mag diese Art der Titelbilder überhaupt nicht, da sie wenig bis gar keinen Freiraum für die eigene Fantasie bieten.
Meine Meinung
Vorab
Die "Until Us" - Reihe ist quasi ein Spinn – off zu der Until-You Reihe und der Hyde & Seek - Reihe. Daher trifft man den ein oder anderen liebgewonnenen Charakter wieder, auch das macht den Reiz dieser Serie aus....
Natürlich muss man nicht alle Bücher in chronologischer Reihenfolge gelesen haben, man kann das Buch in der Tat als Einzelband lesen, auch wenn das Lesevergnügen natürlich größer ist, wenn man die Charaktere schon kennt.
Schreibstil und Erzählperspektive
Mayra Statham verfügt über einen angenehmen, leichten und lebendigen Schreibstil. Die Geschichte ist gut strukturiert und man ist von Anfang an beim Lesen „im Fluss“, da hackt nichts, man gerät nicht ins Stocken sondern will einfach nur wissen, wie die Geschichte weitergeht.
Daher an dieser Stelle auch ein Dankeschön an die Übersetzerin Jennifer Kager, die die Eigenschaften des Buches gekonnt eingefangen und entsprechend übersetzt hat.
Erzählt wird das Ganze in der Ich-Form aus Sicht beider Protagonisten, so weiß man als Leser immer über deren Gefühle und Gedanken bestens Bescheid, und kann noch besser und tiefer in ihre Persönlichkeiten eintauchen. Jedoch hat Millie den größeren Erzählanteil erhalten, nämlich fast 75%. Persönlich finde ich es noch unterhaltsamer und informativer, wenn jeder gleichviel zu Wort kommt.
Es ist wirklich ein Buch zum entspannen - denn es ist ein unaufgeregtes Buch. Man kann sich einfach zurücklehnen und sich unterhalten lassen. Natürlich wird das Rad nicht neu erfunden und ja ein wenig Klischee ist auch dabei, aber im Ernst, manchmal will ich einfach abschalten und einen heißen Liebesroman genießen.
Charaktere und Handlung
Millie ist eine süße aber recht naive Hauptprotagonistin, mit einem großen Herzen und einer ebenso großen Klappe. Endlich denkt sie mal an sich und will ein neues Leben beginnen. Und direkt an ihrem ersten Arbeitstag im Biker Shop fällt sie Blaze auf.
Patrick Blaze Kelly, ein heißer Tätowierer und Biker weiß vom ersten Moment an, dass Millie seine Traumfrau ist. Nur muss er sie davon erst noch überzeugen. Jetzt weiß er endlich, was die Maysons mit ihrem Gerede über den BOOM meinen ;)
Als die Beiden aufeinandertreffen, merkt man als Leser sofort die heiße und explosive Energie, die sie umgibt. Wunderbar auch von der Autorin dargestellt. Man sieht richtig die Funken zwischen ihnen fliegen.
Es macht auch Spaß, den Beiden beim Verlieben zu zusehen.
Erst läuft auch alles prima zwischen ihnen, aber leider entpuppt sich Millie etwas als Dramaqueen. Sie sieht Probleme, die man eigentlich meistern kann. Blaze dagegen handelt absolut nachvollziehbar und erwachsen. Ein Mann, der tatsächlich auch Gefühle zugibt und auch zeigt. Er ist wirklich ein toller Mann und seine Figur ist wunderbar gezeichnet.
Natürlich gibt es auch ein wenig Spannung. Für meinen Geschmack jedoch zu konstruiert und irgendwie auch schon mal genauso gelesen. Erst die böse Ex, dann der böse Verfolger. Aber schlussendlich ist das ja Ansichtssache. Manchmal reicht mir ein super süßer und erotischer Roman auch OHNE künstlich erzeugte Problematik. Aber das ist jetzt jammern auf hohem Niveau.
Zusätzlich bringen die Nebencharaktere „Leben in die Bude“ - vor allem Mondo, der beste Freund von Millie. Gerne hätte ich auch mehr von ihrer Schwester Candi erfahren, aber die bleibt ganz im Dunkeln. Sehr gut hat mir auch wieder gefallen, dass man von den anderen , bereits bekannten Paaren einiges an Neuigkeiten erfährt.
Die knisternden Liebes-Szenen sind wie immer das Highlight des Romans. Sie sind geschmackvoll und im genau richtigen Umfang in den Plot eingebettet und stehen nicht im Vordergrund.
Fazit
Sicherlich bietet dieser erotische Liebesroman keine allzu großen Überraschungen was diese Thematik angeht. Auch wenn die Handlung nicht neu ist und vieles an andere ähnliche Romane erinnert, drückt Mayra Statham der Liebesgeschichte durch ihren eigenen, lockeren und lebendigen Schreibstil ihre persönliche Note auf.
Außerdem ist die Story trotzdem süß, lustig und hot. Sie lebt von den wundervoll gezeichneten Protagonisten, die auf voller Linie überzeugen. Dazu gibt es heiße Liebesszenen und ein wunderschönes Ende.
Daher bekommt dieses Buch von mir auf jeden Fall eine Lese-Empfehlung sowie wunderbare 4 Sterne.

I’m a HUGE Mayra Statham fan. I’ve never read anything from Aurora Rose Reynolds. I’ve wanted to read this since I read the blurb.
Millie put her life on hold when her mom got sick. Three years later and her mom is ready to stop fighting. On her death bed her mom makes Millie promise to go on an adventure, ride a motorcycle and find love. Millie ended up leaving California and ended up in Tennessee.
Patrick AKA Blaze is part of the Broken Eagles Mc club. Not only is he a part of the Mc but he owns and operates two business’s. A lot of his friend’s have been hit with the “Boom” as they call it and falling in love and couldn’t be happier. Blaze has no desire to fall in love. Until one afternoon he see’s her and the next minute she’s gone and he thought he imagined her.
Millie started working as a receptionist at a bike shop owned and operated by the Broken Eagles Mc club. She becomes friendly with her boss’s wife and when she’s invited to a club bbq she goes.
While Millie’s at the bbq she notice’s the guy behind the bar. One thing lead’s to another and Millie goes home with him and they sure do have an amazing night. I mean these two were on fire!!! Millie thought there was something there between them until the next morning when Blaze disappeared. Millie won’t be made a fool of twice.
Blaze wanted Millie from the minute he saw her in the parking lot. After their night together he never wanted to let her go. He never meant to make her feel like she was a one night stand. Blaze apologizes and promises to make things up to her.
The connection these two have are smoking hot!! They can’t keep their hands off each other. As hot as they are thing’s aren’t smooth sailing.
There’s someone or someone’s not happy about Blaze and Millie being together that they’re letting it be known by stupid prank’s. Blaze is also afraid Millie won’t stay with him in Tennessee and go back to California where her grandpa, best friend and sister still are. Millie’s wanting to know who’s coming after her. Her best friend Mondo and grandpa want her to come back home but she feels like Blaze is her home.
I’m such a Mayra Statham fan!!! I’ve been harassing her every single review I write to give me a full length book and she’s given it to me.
Now, as much as I loved Blaze and Millie I had some issue’s with this. Millie has issues with her sister and the whole book her best friend was trying to get Millie to call her sister. I was hoping by the end of the epilogue that there would’ve been some progress between them. But, there was nothing.
My biggest issue was the Mc club. I’m a huge Mc lover. Blaze was a part of the Broken Eagles Mc but we were never told what his role in the Mc was. We were only told that Wes was the President but that was it. I wish there would’ve been more info about the Mc.
Other then that I really loved Millie and Blaze‘a story. Thank you Mayra for the full length book. Keep them coming LOL.

I’m such a Mayra Statham fan!!! I’ve been harassing her every single review I write to give me a full length book and she’s given it to me.
Now, as much as I loved Blaze and Millie I had some issue’s with this. Millie has issues with her sister and the whole book her best friend was trying to get Millie to call her sister. I was hoping by the end of the epilogue that there would’ve been some progress between them. But, there was nothing.
My biggest issue was the Mc club. I’m a huge Mc lover. Blaze was a part of the Broken Eagles Mc but we were never told what his role in the Mc was. We were only told that Wes was the President but that was it. I wish there would’ve been more info about the Mc.
Other then that I really loved Millie and Blaze‘a story. Thank you Mayra for the full length book. Keep them coming LOL.

Hach, dieses Spin-Off-Buch der Until Love-Reihe konnte erneut mein Herz erobern...Wenn ich dachte, dass niemand anderes den Masons und ihrer Welt gerecht werden könnte, wurde ich hier eines besseren belehrt...Manchmal hatte ich sogar das Gefühl, dass ich ein Aurora Rose Reynolds Buch in Händen halte...
Es war einfach nur von Anfang bis Ende ein absoluter Traum...
Mayra Statham hatte die große Ehre der Liebesgeschichte von Millie und Blaze Leben einzuhauchen...Ich liebte ihren Schreibstil sehr...Ich verlor mich so in der Geschichte...Locker leicht und spicy führt die Autorin die Leser durch die Geschichte der Beiden...Allerdings gibt es auch einen spannenden Teil, der die Leser grübeln lässt und auf eine falsche Fährte anfangs führen soll...
Ich persönlich bin ein riesen Fan dieser Reihe - Original oder Spinn-Off ist dabei egal...Ich lebe für diese Charaktere, die mich immer wieder in ihre Welt ziehen...Was wäre ich so gerne ein Teil dieser großen Familie und ihrer Freunde...Und während ich noch mit dem ersten Spin-Off Band meine Problemchen hatte, so werden für mich die Storylines immer besser... Dieses Buch wurde der Welt von Aurora Rose Reynolds mehr als gerecht...Und lässt keine Wünsche offen...
Blaze ist der typische Alphamann...Er ist besitzergreifend...Typ harte Schale, weicher Kern...Allerdings fehlte ihm bisher sein Boom im Leben...Fans der Reihe werden wissen was der berühmte Boom ist...Für alle Anderen: Trift euch bei einer Person das Boom, wird es für euch nie wieder jemanden Anderen geben...
Und Blaze sein Boom ist in diesem Band Millie...Und Millie war so toll...Sie hat eine bewegende Vergangenheit, aber ist ein absoluter Herzensmensch...Sie hat ein reines Herz und ist für mich Typ Frohnatur, auch wenn einem das Leben Zitrone reicht...
Ihr merkt, für mich hat dieses Buch keine Schwachstellen...Rundum Perfektion...
Ich liebe alles an dieser Geschichte...Es sprüht vor Sinnlichkeit, Witz und der bereits aus der Hauptreihe bekannten Anziehung, die zum greifen nah ist...
Von mir gibt es erneut eine absolute Leseempfehlung...Diese Welt hat es mir einfach angetan...Ihr müsst es lesen...

Until Blaze by Mayra Statham is another great addition to to the Happily Ever Alpha Universe that was originally created by Aurora Rose Reynold. Until Blaze follows the story of Patrick "Blaze" Kelly and Milagros "Millie" Delgado, how they fell in love with one another, and we get to see some of the original characters from Reynold's Until Him/Her series along the way.
After making a promise to her dying mother Millie moves from LA to Murfreesboro Tennessee to explore the world and follow her dream. Soon after she moves to Murfreesboro Blaze sees Millie across the street and he's instantly attracted to her but before he can get to her she disappears. Fate works in his favor when mutual friends throw a party and Millie feels the same connection that he did, unable to look away from him.
As they continue to get closer to one another outside forces keep trying their best to keep them apart but Blaze and Millie are determined to make their relationship work. But when innocent pranks start turning darker Blaze and Millie start worrying about what's really going on...
I have read many of the Happily Ever Alpha Universe series and I think that Until Blaze is an excellent addition. Until Blaze is the first book that I have read by Mayra Statham and I really like her style of writing, and I plan on reading more books by her. I enjoyed the characters that she created within someone else's world. I found Millie to be a spunky spitfire and Blaze was the classic alpha male, without being too overbearing. I hope to see some of the characters that Mayra created, like Blaze's business partner Jinx, in their own books.

Ok I'm going to say there are spoilers right away in this review. I've never read books by this Author before but have enjoyed many books of the insta love "until" series by Aura Rose Reynolds, which has been picked up by various other Authors. I loved Blaze and Millie, especially Millie.....until I got to about 64% of the book. My BIGGEST pet peeve with Authors is having the Hero screw up and somehow turn the fight between the two into the heroine spouting insecurities. Common!! Some broad set two fires, a broad the Hero had been f***ing! She purposely keeps starting crap with heroine, hero witnesses it and put heroine down for slugging the b****!!? So heroine starts off pretty good on her rant but somehow turn into insecurities??!! Just because it's insta love doesn't mean the the heroine can't have a friggin spine!! I'm so sick of romance novels that don't keep the characters personality strong just because she is in love!! Once,just once I'd like to see a female character stick to her guns and make the Hero WORK for an apology!!! Seriously if some broad your man had been screwing set flaming crap on your doorstep then lot your trashcan at your desk on fire, then got in your face and admitted it calling you names wouldn't you slug her?? If the man you were with chastised you after you explained that she had admitted to setting the fire would you break up with staying that he's so hot and you're not so it's not going to work!?? Heck no I wouldnt! I'd rip him a new butthole, and it and storm off!! When he was ready to take my side and admit he was wrong....I'd take him back after he worked for it a bit!!

I loved this book so much.
The story is so sweet and heartwarming, hitting me right in the damn feels.
The sex is hot, passionate. The romance is so tender and loving.
Patrick is a big, tattooed, teddy bear. The kind of alpha male who is only gentle and loving with his girl. My favorite kind of man.
Milagros is a curvy, independent woman. She’s quietly strong, tough after going through what she’s had to.
Both of them are so good for each other.
Not just good sex, we get pretty dang good plot in this book too. Which is much appreciated. I loved the little bit of mystery, and danger woven throughout. Plus there was that tiny hint of drama from his ex hookup to keep things interesting.
Not only that but the side characters were fun, too. I loved Milli’s abuelo. And Mondo. They added a bit of humor and fun banter, especially her grandfather. I always love when there’s grandparents that are dramatic and sarcastic, cursing up a storm and joking around in a story.
I know I’m out of order here, but this book was so good I kind of want to see if any of the other ones in the series measure up.

Millie and Blaze were a fantastic mesh of ARR and Mayra’s worlds. They had their boom, they had some angst (even if Blaze was so very good at nipping it in the bud), they had some danger, and they had the opening for another story I absolutely must have.
Millie was on a quest to actually LIVE, as per her mother’s demand-sorta-stated-as-a-request, and she wasn’t expecting it to lead her to Blaze and his world. Blaze sure wasn’t expecting to feel the BOOM that he’d managed to avoid this long. But when the opportunity arose, both Millie and Blaze decided to enjoy the ride of a lifetime together. He just had to make sure she’d stay, which wasn’t easy when her family and unexpected best friend waited for her in SoCal. But they figured out where they both fit best and made it work spectacularly.
And now, a request. I haven’t seen Mondo’s and Candi’s story yet. Could we please, Mayra? Because he reminds me far too much of some of the best guys I’d ever known years ago for him not to find his HEA. Okay, end request. Please and thank you in advance.

Millie made promises to her beloved mother right before she passed, and so she picked up to go somewhere random to settle in for a bit. It was the best thing for her as she got hooked up with the Broken Eagles MC since she worked at one of their places. Blaze has never wanted to settle down but the moment he spied Millie getting into her car, he fell & knew she was his person. He ends up trying to find her again with no luck but fate was with him when she came to one of the club's BBQ so he wasn't about to let this second chance go. They have sparks, the sexy times are hot, and they're literally perfect for each other, but not everyone is happy about them getting together. Weird things start happening to Millie, with most of them involving fire so now the twists are coming in hot as it's a race against time to figure out who is targeting her before it's too late. So yeah, this book was amazing in my eyes and you'll totally do yourselves a great solid by hitting those one click buttons! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This was my first read from this Author and this happily Ever Alpha series is a great way to be introduced to new authors.
Mayra delivered a well written story that had a great blend of drama, suspense, loyalty and family that had me intrigued from beginning to end. Millie and Blaze had some intensely hot chemistry. They were perfect together.
Millie is embarking on a promise that she made to her mum on her death bed and is on an adventure traveling on a motorcycle and has travelled from California to Tennessee. Patrick, AKA Blaze, is a member of the Broken Eagles MC and has no desire to fall in love and feel the BOOM his friends have been feeling. That is until one afternoon he sees Millie.
Of course there is sizzling BOOM chemistry and add that in with some typic.al MC drama and this was a perfect read.
I will certainly be reading more from Mayra.
