Don’t be afraid it could be to dark - this story is good and more of the brighter side of Mafia and the wrong side of haven - the characters are on a very adult way to become a couple, consensual and captivating, Omegavers aspect is very light and only a tool or toy between the sheets - so easy but good entertainment, fluent storytelling, interesting mix of characters and a very good way to get them together in a HEA. No spirit was broken only cheeks turned red.

I normally am not the hugest fan of Omega-verse type stories, just because of this new weird theme of non-consent just to display a “dominant” alpha-dude.
However, this was a nice new look where it seemed like the couple actually liked each other a bit before falling hard and fast.
Very well-written and the intimate scenes didn’t feel disjointed, like the story was written around the love scenes like in other adult fantasy romance stories. This seemed like a pretty realistic flow of a story. Nothing felt too far-fetched or annoying about how events unfolded.
Heroine remains somewhat assertive, which I enjoyed and the Hero was doting instead of dominating. No massive changes in personality like other Omega verse stories. The story remained consistent and easily followed. The world can be a bit confusing, but I’m assuming I’m reading a third story of a set, so that would make it fair to guess that some aspects of the world are explained in earlier books.
I was very impressed. Read it in a couple hours so it is relatively short, but I don’t have any major complaints.

The smell of Fate
Love the series. Especially this one. Milana is every single woman in a man’s game. Trying to break out. How does one be in the man’s game and be feminine at the same time? Her and Rojan going on a mission was the perfect role for her. More please! Although, can you release some visual of the knot? Lol

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Rojan has become a Vostra man because he wanted to make more money then he did. Milana is the only female in the Vostra world who have achieved the rank of made member. If the men are not in Vostra they are on suppressants so they are not with fangs or claws. Rojan joins the Butarza Family so now he is off the suppressants. Now would be the time to get the book. I will be getting more from this author.

This one features Milana and Rojan whom were already featured in the last two books. Milana is a strong woman with it to show (I mean remember she was going to be executed in book 1) - and Rojan is finally off of suppressants and full on alpha male.
Since the two have history where Rojan was pre-suppressant and Milana is the more Alpha - I was curious to see how them in this particular series of Alphas who spank their mates into suppressionwould urn out.
Hmm...I would say that if you haven't read the last two books, I think it's a standalone but you don't get the full thing about the mates/their biology from especially the first book. Milana has already gone through heats before and knows her biology - but Rojan starts to be more and more appealing since the year they have met. It basically takes the mission where they have to pretend being mates, that gives Rojan the push.
Interestingly enough where it's usually the FL that turns weird/dumb/etc, it's actually the ML I feel who turns into a sorta jerk in this case. Well Milana does turn more submissive, but compared to Rojan who has his sweet moments before and at times...he decides to show his authority as an Alpha and full on goes to disciplining Milana. In a weird way you can sort of see how this appeals to Milana, the guy who was more hesitant and such - suddenly turning into an Alpha, is attractive. (That and he knew from way before that she was for him.)
So basically Rojan had a lot of winning points towards him even in book 1 - especially if we compare him to the other MLs, he respects Milana. Now being part of the mafia though, he's now following their ways of discipline...and expects Milana to follow.
This book really just solidfies to me that if you are a reader who is into the kink of corporal punishment - this is the series for you. Milana doesn't lose entirely herself to the point I'd call her dumb after getting dick, but does have a new submissive side to Rojan. I think this book probably explores their thoughts more compared to the characters in the last book, but I have to admit the whole mission plot isn't that interesting in this one.

The writing and editing was pretty clean in the ARC version of the manuscript, with only occasional typos. Hopefully those will be fixed in the retail version. The world building was okay, but not especially vivid. The characterization was okay, with both hero and heroine being sympathetic if not super complex or nuanced individuals. The development of the romantic relationship was great, with these two characters being well matched personality wise and in bed. The sexy times were of the BDSM variety and exciting to read. The plot and pacing were both tight and exciting. There was low angst and very high stakes in this novel, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel used the Friends to Lovers trope and the Fated Mates trope. The world building was three stars. The plot and pacing were four stars. The characterization was three stars and the development of the romantic relationship was four stars. I rounded up and gave this novel a combined score of four stars. This novel had a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that was a plus. I recommend this novel to readers who like sci-fi romance with some Mafia and BDSM elements. I look forward to reading the next novel in this series when it releases, though I will not be buying myself a keeper copy of this novel.

So I came across this book and was like hmm sci-fi mafia? I mean I was looking for a good alien romance and I gotta say that this did not disappoint! I mean you have an alpha possessive male, a strong female character who can take care of herself. So we have Rojan and Milana who are sent on a mission to takeover another major player. On this mission they are to act like fated mates however, the something shifts between them. Milana is a strong female with no interest of finding her mate. She is smart, strong, and a bit rebellious. Rojan has known that Milana is his mate now he just has to make her see that. This mission will test them and may put them in danger. The heighten level of danger only spurs these two on. I loved the depth of character for Milana. However, the story was well written and stayed on par with all that was going on. It has the perfect amount of smexy times as well as action and spyness. I totally loved this and will be going back to read the first two books.

Rojan and Melania mission capture or kill the enemy after all its what you do when your in the mob but know buddy said anything about getting a mate and being knotted and marked who cares if thats what the Vostra women are supposed to do im and assassin not a plaything for a Vostrata male and now Rojan has sent me into heat in the middle of a mission what else could go wrong.
Rojan is all man and he knows what he wants and hill get it one discipline at a time there mats and its time Melania knows it. Both Rojan and Melania are tuff shes endapendant hes all Alpha but there chemistry is great.
This book has some submission scenes so if your not into that don't read the book that being said this is a good read and I would like to read the others in the series this can be read as a stand alone book but some of the characters from previous books appear.

This intriguing Sci-Fi alien romance is a splendid addition to the series & covers a female assassin/spy (Milana) that is sent on an undercover mission but this time she is partnered by an alpha male Voorian mafia member (Rojan) & they have to act as mates but then he decides to really claim her for himself permanently. It has a well-written storyline with an interesting plot & has good world building with descriptive scenes. The characters are engaging with well-developed personalities & have good chemistry between them.
There is: mafia crime families, rivalry, fated mates, adventure, action, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, drama, danger, enemies, battles, confrontations, threats, violence, conflict, attractions, discipline, spankings, heat issues, anticipation, claiming, strange abilities, protectiveness, anticipation, contentment, love, some steamy scenes & a well-deserved satisfying conclusion. I enjoyed reading this book & look forward to the next book with great anticipation.

Wonderfully dark and addicting - Highly recommend!
Written for mature readers only (18+ years old) due to subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy intimate scenes and violence such as abduction, fighting with some to the death, murder, torture betrayal, etc.
This is the third story in the Vostra Crime Lords series. I highly recommend this be read in series order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers as there are reoccurring characters and an overall storyline arc.
There are only a few grammatical issues in this story. Luna Voss writes with such a strong sense of style. The characters and the story universe really comes alive. Milana and Rojan make such a good couple. Just wish that there was a way to keep her with a little bit of independence since she presented an opportunity to show a compromise being the only female member of the Vostra.

This is book three of the Vostra Crime Lords series. You do not need to read book one or two to enjoy this book. Milana has shunned becoming a mate because women that are mated are spanked and dominated. She is on this mission with Rojan and she feels something for him. Because they are acting as mates for their undercover, Rojan disciplines Milana when she is disrespectful of him. The problem is that the more they act, the more she wants it to be true.
I'm enjoying this series. I like that even though the women of the Vostra are disciplined, their mates respect them and practically put them on a pedestal. You could wish to have men like this in your life. I see that book four is ready to be released next month. I'll be looking forward to it.

I love a good fated mate story, but add in a Mafia theme, and I'm hooked. This is the 3rd in the series and I love the characters. Milana, has grown up in the "family" and doesn't want to end up like the other mates, "claimed" and spanked by their mates. She's worked hard to become a "made" member of the family, so when she and Rojan have to act like a mated couple to infiltrate another family she suddenly finds that she's struggling to keep herself aloof from him. and complete the mission. Rojan, on the other hand has had feelings for her since being freed and now that he's a "made" man he plans on acting on it while on this mission. Great characters, loved the storyline and can't wait to see what's next.

Book 3 in the Vostra crime series, though each can be read standalone the series is not to be missed!! Milana doesnt want a mate, shes a warrior in her own right and doesn't want a male mate disciplining her but when her and Rojan (whose coming of the life long sup resents) have to fake being mates what happens when the pretending starts to feel more real how will they take their growing connection to the next level. well written sci-fi romance. with a good story line and in depth characters you cant help fall for!

This was so entertaining. Kept me reading till the very end. Has adventure, action, drama, dark sci-fi romance, twists and turns, violence, spankings, discipline, Alphas, omegas, heat, steam, space mafia, assassinations, and dominant possessive mate. These two are former prisoners and now they are members of an alien mafia crime family. Milana and Rojan have to go undercover and pretend to be a mated pair. They are going after another crime family (go figure). Rojan knows that Milana is his fated mate and he decides to take the pretend to a real mating and when she comes into heat he's there to help her. Great HEA. He decides he is going to have this omega as his. She will be his actual mate even if that was not supposed to happen. She begins to crave his dominance while he feels protective and cares for her. I like these alien mobsters and the strong women who become their mates. I look forward to the next book in the series

3.5 smutty stars!
I've been picking up a lot of short smutty stories recently (not that I'm complaining). This installment is Milana and Rojan.
Milana is the bad ass fighter from previous stories and Rojan is the newly unsurpressed male (this isn't an omegaverse). Rojan knows Milana is his fated mate and plans on claiming her. The two of them go on a mission together to infiltrate anther family. Along the way, they get to know each other and discover they're fated to be together.
This story was fast paced, steamy, and fun. These stories have lots of harmless discipline and spanking so if that's not your thing, don't pick this up.
Overall, a fun read! Can't wait for the next one.

Not as dramatic with the crime action as the previous books in this series, but the relationship build up is just perfect and kept me turning the pages - sexy heat, chemistry, intimacy, they truly complete and match each other

This wonderfully written, book 3 in the Vostra Crime Lords was interesting.with good characters.
It had some very well-crafted scenes and story plots. These characters have very strong personalities and their actions are believably realistic. This interesting story has the following: intrigue, twists and turns, adventure, action, danger, love, steam and a HEA. I love this series! It is Phenomenal! Luna definitely brings it! I think this is one of the best books of the series! Tere is so much heat, Chemistry is off the charts and the encounters between Rojan and Malana will send your heart a racing and your panties melting. It brings two worlds together that just fit. The whole story is really good. Exception read! This series is already on my To Reread Shelf! Conceptually it is very visual and make you want to stay!! Lovely just lovely!

I'm a first time reading the whole outta space alien type genre. But I I utterly loved it little stretched out. Only down side. But it left u on the edge of ur seat! Laid out perfectly for there to be a follow on book aswell. Both characters equally had their time as it were. Insta love. Alpha male. Dominate utter worth the Time to read.

This was an enjoyable read. This world/reality is very different to our own with strong males who take their Fated Mates wherever they find them. Thats when trouble starts for the only female assassin in the Voorian Mafia. Partnered with Rojan, both her heat cycle and her new partner get in the way of the job!

Kicking butt and taking mates
This story is an action packed sci-fi romance that really packs a punch! Meliana and Rajon are assassins/ marked members of one mafia family who go undercover with a rival family. The forced proximity pushes them into realizing their fated mates and results in them having each other’s backs when the firefight starts. The interactions are spicy, the action is intense, and this makes for one great read!

This is the 3rd book in this sci-fi read but it can be read as a stand-alone. Milana is a mafia assassin and gets paired up with Rojan but she is to pretend to be his obedient wife. What will happen when he makes her his fasted mate instead. Fast-paced steamy read with loads of drama, suspense and great chemistry. The story is fast-paced and entertaining. I liked it.

I knew it! I’ve been waiting for Milana and Rojan’s story. He has changed a lot since he stop taking the suppresant and with it comes the ability to smell his fated mate and she was right in front if his nose

Yasss Malina has a man FINALLY
Ok. So I love this whole series. I was excited at this release. It was a fun read. Finally, Rojan tames Milana! I enjoyed this one too. Action, and hot scenes keeps me waiting on the next book. Luna is becoming one of my fav writers. I can't wait to see GIDDEON AND LYRA!!

An enjoyable addition to this great series from this author. If you love alien romance or mafia romance, then grab a copy of this book. If you don’t know her already then you need to become familiar with this author’s work as she has a knack of writing fun, entertaining steamy books.
