Possessive Trucker

Sophie wants a different life than working on her father’s farm so she heads to the city believing she has a job only to be turned down. She has a backup job at the hotel she was staying but that was a lie as well and to complicate things further she has no money and no phone.

Thorn has achieved financial success with the trucking company he created but what he really wants is a woman to spend his life with. When he sees Sophie at a truck stop he knows that she is the woman he has been waiting for and can see she is going through a difficult time. He is determined to show her that he is man that can make all her dreams come true and that there is no obstacle too large for them to overcome.

One hot trucker

All it took was one look and he knew she was his he also knew he would have to take it easy as she looks as though she has had a tough time. Everything that could go wrong from leaving her bag on the bus to the job she thought she had she hadn’t and then the lady who said she could work at the hotel told her she couldn’t then once his eyes where pinned on her she couldn’t look anywhere else not that she wanted to. This man was hers she knew it but was still unsure but once alone they both knew they where meant for each other.

Sophie is having one hell of an awful day. Being turned away from 2 jobs she thought she had & losing her belongings on the bus, she just doesn't know what to do & the weather suits her mood - pouring with rain!

When she walks out of the hotel she was staying at, she sees a beautiful truck pull into the diner opposite. She feels drawn to it & can't understand why.

She enters the ladies room - she's wet through & her make-up is running down her face. She noticed in her way in that the diner offers free wifi & a cup of coffee - having lost her purse, she's thankful to be able to at least get a warm cup of coffee inside her.

Thorn is a trucker. He has pulled into the roadside diner to get something to eat when he glances up & an angel walks past his truck. He has to make her his, no doubt about it!

He has never picked anybody up & that is a solid rule of his company - No hitch hikers. But he cannot deny the feelings coursing through him. She is stunningly beautiful & her curves make his mouth water!

He knows a woman in distress & he wants to help her, any way he can. So he buys her a meal & offers her a ride to wherever she wants to go.

After accepting his offer, Sophie knows the chemistry between them cannot be denied, so she goes along with it & boy, do the fireworks go off!

What comes next is a beautiful, heart-warming romance that swept me up along with the characters & didn't release me until the very last word.

Well done Flora. I certainly need more & soon!

Sophie was told she had the new housekeeping job working for the wealthy family, but when she got there, the woman changed her mind! Sophie went back to the hotel since the manager had said if it didn’t work out, she would hire her – but she said she was joking. So now she had nothing, her belongings with all her money, cards and clothes in it accidentally left on the bus. She saw a big truck hauling lumber pull in across the street and felt compelled to walk over there. The huge man watched her as she approached, and the rain has soaked her completely. But she can tell he likes what he sees. And he knows she needs some help.

Thorn can tell she’s been hurt and lied to. He tells her he wants to buy her a meal and a warm drink. Although she refuses his help, he orders two meals and offers his phone if she wants to call someone. One of his workers calls asking if he has any more work, so he tells him to come pick up his load, which will free him to take Sophie home. Neither of them wants to leave the other. Even the diner owner tells her Thorn is a good man and she can trust him. She called her dad and told him she got a new job – secretary at a logging company! She hoped it would become true.

This was such a good story. Thorn has found the only woman he has ever wanted. Sophie feels the connection just as deeply, knowing he will keep her safe and love her. The story will pull the reader right in to share their getting to know each other and reaching out for their HEA. Grab your copy and enjoy their story.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Sophie and Thorn. Sophie believed she was leaving the farm for a job in the city. When she got there though turns out the people were completely upfront about everything and the job at a motel well the manager said she didn't think she would actually take her up on that offer. So now she is in the roadside dinner trying to think of a way to call her dad to have him come get her. That is until the man who just came in captivates her. Thorn has been looking for his one for as long as he can remember. He didn't actually think he would ever find her. That is until he stops for something to eat at a roadside dinner he has stopped at in the past. One look at Sophie and he knows he has found his one. He just need to take it slow enough not to scare her off. Will these two find a HEA or will they just have a moment in a dinner to remember the other by?

This is another amazing story by this author. It has its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Sophie is having a bad day she didn't get the job she was promised and the second job offer fell through. So she walks over to the diner across from the hotel for a cup of free coffee and use of the Wi-Fi because she lost her things on the bus ride there. Thorn is a trucker stopping at the diner to eat before going on to his next stop. When he sees Sophie he knows that she is the woman for him and that she is struggling. He wants to help her but she's scared at first. So he leaves her his phone while he goes out to unload his truck and when he comes back she has decided to come with him. Will he get the chance to convince her to stay with him? Will her father track her down?

This is an amazing story that will draw you in from the first chapter and leave you wanting more with the last one. This author knows how to bring her stories to life for her readers. I can't wait to reader more by her. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Sophie is having the worse day, She came into the city because she had jobs lined up but as soon as she saw the managers she was let down. Now she was stuck in the city and all her belongings have been left on the bus surely this day couldnt get any worse. She deserved a bit of luck.
Things start to look up when she sees a truck and the best looking man with a sexy bum But Sophie is soaked and her make up is running and all she wants is a cuppa and dry out. But seeing this man stops her in her tracks open mouthed staring.
Thorn has stopped to get something to eat when he spots a beautiful young lady and within seconds he knows she is the one for her. And he will do anything to protect her and give her everything she needs. And no one is going to stop him.
This is an instalove story that just makes your heart sing. The chemistry is off the charts and i really like the relationship they have. Another great book!!

Sophie is having a bad day, first the job that she moved two hundred miles for cell through after thelady of the house took one look at her curves, then the hotel manager that told her of the first job fell through she could work at the hotel loed, to top it off she was so upset she left her bag woth all her belongings on the bus.
Shiny lights get her attention.
Then the back side of the sexiest man alive gives her an unexplained sense of home and safety. But is she being naive again graspung at anything so she does not have to return home to the farm and her father.
Thorn sees her in the mirror on the wall and is ready to claim her, love her protect her care for her.
Once Thorn and Sophie seal their relationship the next obstacle comes in the form of her father, but Thorn is ten steps ahead.

Older man, single, logging owner/driver sees younger girl, scared, in trouble, alone and needing help. Thorn at first just wants to help - food, coffee, phone. But as he visits with Sophie he realizes he wants to spend the rest of his life taking care of her, loving her. He just has to try to keep her from running away. He needs to get her to trust him, to stay with him. Sophie realizes she has feelings she has never had before. What does this mean? Is she going to be able to not return to the farm? Will her Dad search for her? Thorn was willing to do just about anything to convince Sophia to stay with him, to give them a chance, would it be too much? Very hot, sizzling chemistry, smoking hot passion, obsession. Wow!

Thorn and Sophie are a perfect instalove couple. Sophie has had the worst day - everything that could go wrong has. But one look, only one look at Thorn has her trusting him, following her heart. Thorn is a mountain of a man, self-made, possessive, and OTT protective. Just one glimpse of Sophie, rain soaked and almost in tears, is enough to change his life and his future. His world now revolves around her, and any helps she needs, Thorn is more than happy to give her. Sweet moments interspersed with spicy heat, this is just a fun story about two hearts finding each other despite all the odds. Well worth reading!

When you know you love someone on sight, you know it that is for sure.
That is what has happened in this story with the trucker and his up and coming wife.
He is a lot older than her and I`m not sure if her Dad likes the idea of this connection they have.
Money helps seal the deal for sure for her Dad and of course his new worker on the farm that he
has to teach which end to feed an animal..........lol. I loved that line in the book.
The characters really worked so well together and I found a great connection to them as well.
I didn`t find any spelling mistakes or any holes in the plot of the story.
This book is only for people over the age of 18+

Possessive Trucker is a fun and sexy addition to the A Man Who Knows Who He Wants series by Flora Ferrari. This story is about Thorn and Sophie. He does a good deed when she spots an angel and decides to help her, as she looks like she could definitely use it. Sophie has just had about the worst day of her life. But that all changes when she is drawn to a truck that she sees and then the trucker that drives it. What neither was expecting at that road side diner was to find their forever. But then again you never know what will be unveiled when the rain stops.

Flora Ferrari is one of my top 10 must read authors and this book is one of the reasons. Ms. Ferrari has a way of grabbing you from the beginning to the end of her books, her story telling is fantastic and so fun! In our crazy world today it's such a joy to be able to escape into a short story that leaves you feeling so good. Thorn and Sophie's story is one of an over the top alpha who goes for what he wants and does what is necessary to keep her. This book has everything that you could want; comedy, action, drama, and of course hot, hot romance (it is a Flora Ferrari book after all). You really will be sorry if you miss this gem of a book!

I loved this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were relatable and interesting. Sophie was sweet but the people she had interacted with completely treated her like crud. She doesn't want to go back home but doesn't feel like she has an option. When she meets Thorn she wants to believe that he will help her. The attraction that she feels for him is strong and it worries her. Thorn is drawn to Sophie but figures that she couldn't be interested in him. Thorn figures that either way he wants to help Sophie because he's sure that she needs help. Sophie and Thorn end up with a wonderful happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Sophie can’t believe how horrible her day is going! She left her father’s farm to go out in the world to find out that she didn’t get the job she was supposed to start! On top of that she left her belongings on a bus and has no money! She ends up at a truck stop because they offer a free coffee! What she didn’t expect was to meet gorgeous older man Thorn who is a truck driver! Thorn takes one look at the beautiful curvy young woman and knows she’s the one! He will do whatever it takes to make her his! Another great book by Flora Ferrari!!

This well-written, OTT, instant everything, Book 188 in the A Man Who Knows What He Wants Series is a great short story with well-developed characters that fall for each other and have to figure out how to overcome an obstacle. These characters have an age difference that may be an obstacle but if you really love someone does it matter even if it is dangerous. It is a great quick read like all Ferrari stories. A realistic story in actions/reactions and is my favorites of her short stories so far. A must read.

This is such a sweet sexy steamy story. Thorn stops at a truckstop for dinner and sees Sophie walk into the diner. He knows that when he leaves she's going with him. She might not know it yet but. Sophie can feel the connection with Thorn but after the day she had she's scared that he's going to turn into the rest of her day. Job fell through, housekeeping job didn't happen, her luggage got left on the bus, now she being given a meal by a stranger. This was absolutely a steamy story of two people who reached out to each other and found a lasting loving relationship. I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Sophie and Thorn. He's a truck driver that owns his own truck and the logging mill. Sophie is a young woman who is trying to find herself after she leaves her family farm. The job she thought she had when she arrives in town, falls thru and leaves her looking again. When Thorn finds her she's wet and alone. Wanting to protect her, and keep her with him, he offers dinner, a phone call and to drive her where she needs to be. But what neither of them plan on was the intense feelings they discover. Great HEA.

Flora's storylines always seem to draw me in. These alpha men are incredible and protective at the same time. Her books flow smoothly from beginning to end.

Sophie and Thorn have an instant attraction and they just know they are meant to be. Sophie has had it rough with everyone looking down at her because of her curves. Tucker works all the time because he is lonely. He would love a reason to be more at home.. I highly recommend this book.

I really enjoyed this book. Thorn. Is lumber truck driver. When he sees the sad and frightened face of the young woman he knows that he needs to help her. Then maybe he can convince her to stay with him. Sophie has had the worst day of her life. She left her dad’s home for a job and when she showed up she had no job. Now, she has no job and no place to stay. That’s when she meets Thorn. Can they work things out to everyone’s benefit? Even her dad’s?

Suck in a town she dies not know, a job offer that fell through and with no money as she lost it on the bus sophie is all about ready to give up and go home to her dad until spot a guy stand outside of his truck 6 foot 7 and all muscle thorn is the definition of sex on legs and yummy and even though he alot older then her she know they was something special going to happen between them , this was a very good read

The sparks fly when Thorn and Sophie first meet and if Sophie wasn’t already wet from the rain, she would have been after her first encounter with the mountain of a man who is Thorn. Things heat up in Thorn’s cab as these two take off on a journey of discovery and the feelings erupt by the time these two get to Thorn’s rustic oasis. Thorn’s support and care just make Sophie fall all the harder and the joy just keeps building as these two get their HEA.

Quick read about a lost young woman and an alpha truck driver.
Standalone with no cliffhangers.
Sophie doesn't want to live on the family farm forever, but every city job she was promised has left her alone in a diner without her purse and phone. Then she sees the truck pull in and just knows her life is about to change. Is it for the better or another disappointment.
Thorn wants her at first sight, he just has to stay calm so he doesn't scare her away.

Sophie has finally escaped from the farm her father owns but when she arrives at her new job that job is no longer available and to make matters worse she has lefty her possessions on the bus. Thorn is a long haul lumber truck driver the moment he sees Sophie he knows she is in trouble but he also knows that he wants her and that she is his future wife. Sophie's day couldn't possibly get any worse. She left home thinking that she had a job, gets to the job to discover that the doesn't have it and she left her bag with her clothes and money in it on the bus. She has no way of getting home, no money, and nowhere to stay. Thorn is a truck driver who knows whenever someone is having a bad day. He helps Sophie out so that she will want to stay with him in the end. This is a good story. The characters have chemistry and fall in love on the road.

Hmmm this story doesn’t say how old Sophie is. It doesn’t matter, she is of age. She is innocent about a lot of things it makes me thinks she os barely 18 or hitting 19. Anyway, Thorn is a truck driver, who owns a business. Sophie too a few people at face value and lost her bag and purse on the bus. She and Thorn are attracted and he knows the rules of hitchhikers But is drawn to her. There is just one thing, her father. How to convince Pops that Sophie wants to stay.

Yes, he is!!

Sophie has had the day from h#ll, it started out bad and just got worse. Then she spots the lights of a big rig truck across the street from the hotel she was at and she feels like everything will be okay when she goes over there to see who drives the truck. Thorn has been driving trucks for a long time a d now he owns his own company. He tells his guys not to pick up hitchhikers and he never does either. But when he sees Sophie, he sees someone he needs to protect and possess. This is a great read and I highly recommend it!

A great book and the storyline about Sophie and Thorn(love this name) and their insta love romance really engages you from the beginning , and as per usual from Flora it's well written with a bit of drama a lot of sizzling chemistry and well written steamy scenes , it's a book i would recommend to other readers
