After getting her degree in medicine, Nileen Riviera thought it was time to move to the next goal in her list-to have a boyfriend. Ang kaso, walang lumalapit sa kanya. It's either intimidated sila dahil topnotcher siya sa boards o kaya naman ay baka pangit lang talaga siya.

She was close to getting royally pissed at the universe until she met Marcus-the guy who got her demoted into the second place in the boards. She was pissed at the guy dahil ito ang dahilan kung bakit disappointed ang nanay niya sa kanya.

Niles was determined to just ignore his existence, but it seemed like the universe had a mind of its own.

1.5/5 ⭐ at the start the FMC had a compelling story and personality and when the MMC was introduced he felt completely a one dimensional character for me, like he was only there so there would be a leading man.

Then come on the part where they are getting to know each other, an interesting conflict on why they cannot just be together was introduced but unfortunately it was not driven properly and was so sloppy instead. And to continue my first part of the review, the compelling story of the FMC was suddenly swept under the rug easily and had an underwhelming resolution, while the MMC suddenly had a backstory but felt like it came from nowhere.

I also did not like the ending at all. It felt rushed and an easy way out for it.

Maybe, I've already grown past my wattpad days but I may have liked this more if I were a teenager. In short, even though this was advertised as New Adult, it still felt like a Teen Fiction. My ranking was also affected by the fact that the mass published physical book of this has so many grammatical errors.

forever five stars !!!!! reread na lang talaga ang ginawa ko coz i read it na sa wattpad before way back 2 years ago na yata hahahahah tapos i got the physical copy now, iba pa rin yung tama ni marcus at nileen SAGAD PA RIN SA BONES YUNG KILIG NA PARA BANG I WANT WHAT THEY HAVE SO BAD 🥹 (never knew i had a thing for doctors until i read marcus isaiah nicolas, pero dapat kagaya sana niya pls) they're both so mature and sobrang fun and easy and light read lang talaga nito huhuhu LOVE LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH

super short and easy read hahahaha medyo nakulangan lang ako kasi super short nga lang niya but still, it was good and i really admired nileen's character. i remember anticipating for this story since abnq era palang but i didnt read it right away nung pinublish na kasi i wasnt completely over pa sa nangyari between joey, psalm, and marcus. plus i was so scared kasi akala ko super angsty nito but hindi naman pala. light lang actually yung pagkakasulat. overall, im so glad that marcus finally found the love of his life.

My hunch is it would be better if it's a full-length novel. HOWEVER, I know Ms. Ariesa Domingo and I beg to be saved from an emotional distress. I read this while I was waiting in line (for almost 6 hours!) I like how it's fast-paced, short, funny, and comforting.

I was introduced to a handful of characters in this story and the character development they had is exquisitely done!

Cute. Realistic yung usapan nila, to the point na nakakarelate. Minus 1 star lang kasi although happy ending siya, nakulangan ako. Buti na lang meron yung special chapters ni Marcus, kasi kung wala, masasabi ko na stick to reading the wattpad version na lang.

I was a little bit disappointed by this one.

I have read The Game Series before this so I was expecting this book will be the same level.

Everything had happened so fast in this book, like literally, everything flew so fast. They were able to develop a relationship in such a short amount of time, and their feelings grew in such a short amount of time.

The characters are two dimensional. There are no character development in the both of them. They sound and look the same with the characters that were found in the most popular Filipino contemporary romance novels.

I would have loved it it they explored the angst and longing between Marcus and Joey and the dynamics between Niles and her mother. I think that will be very interesting.

I must say though, I felt kilig on some points of the book.

I'm sad and a bit disappointed because I am expecting for Marcus's to have a long long story because I am waiting for this for so long.
