The art is gorgeous, but the plotline isn't consistently good. Afterwards, the series improve, though.

Inizia la trasposizione dagli antichi manoscritti gallesi, quelli che probabilmente furono una delle fonti del ciclo Arturiano cantato da Chretien de Trojes, e inizia con Myrrdin e Taliesin, con la storia di Vortigern e di Hengist.
I disegni sono meravigliosi.
La storia è riproposta in modo perfetto.
In fondo, definirla capolavoro è semplice, giusto e perfino un poco riduttivo.

Ce premier tome nous renvoie dans le monde celte le plus mythique, celui où Myrddin (traduit sans doute plus tard en Merlin) apparaît pour pouvoir ensuite guider Arthur et ses compagnons.
