This is a great story that quickly grabbed my attention and kept me turning the pages. I was rooting for Chrissy and Ryan, I enjoyed following along on their journey.

ENTERTAINING HOLIDAY SHIFTER ROMANCE
“Her Protector,” is an entertaining holiday shifter read with suspense, action, great character interaction, steamy romance, humor, Christmas shifter magic and a wonderful happy forever.
Ryan Henry, a powerful warrior bear shifter of the Le Roux clan, is the only one of his siblings who does not have a mate. This Christmas he is escaping the family talk about being mateless. His alpha is sending him to the North Pole clan because they need some Christmas cheer and more. Requiring a drive break, he stops at a pub where he meets Chrissy Johnson. Shy Chrissy loves her job at an animal shelter, has the voice of an angel, but butterflies strike her every time she performs with her friend’s band. It is unfortunate that Chrissy is being duped by a man who she thought to be a love interest. Ryan and Chrissy hit a few stumbling blocks before achieving their happy forever.
Fantastic well-written plot with picturesque, vivid scene descriptions and admirable characters. Chrissy and Ryan’s romance is genuine. The author shows that trust and communication are pivotal in all relationships. Loving this story, I voluntarily reviewed a pre-release copy.

A short sweet and almost pretty clean story. A bit or adventure, some action and a whole lot of Christmas joy. All rolled up with a pretty bow and a good looking cover. 😘
The main characters were spot on, a feisty but shy woman whose afraid of being hurt. A warrior werebear whose out to help children in need of a Christmas Santa and maybe if true mate if he can find her. The plot was straight forward and to the point.

It takes place in a world we're familiar with (V Vaughn's world of shifters of course!); so it's nice to simply be re-visitng an area with some familiarity. The story itself takes place during the holiday season, so this definitely is a Holiday story - perfect to get you into the season.
Overall, the story was nice - not short at all, and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. The characters were well written and completely believable as they went through - well an adventure to say the least. I loved the Christmas setting for these two to fall in love and face the challenges coming at them.

Ryan is a shifter and wants to find his true mate but is afraid he might end up alone. So he goes to help another clan for Christmas in the hopes that he might find his mate along the way but what he finds instead is Chrissy, a human.
Chrissy is a singer in a band and her crush ends up putting her in a lot of danger. She fell for the wrong guy it seems and now she's in a heap of trouble. Ryan comes along and helps her but there are so many things that get in the way along their adventure. Chrissy wants to turn herself in and let the police figure it all out but Ryan isn't so sure that's a good idea and I agree with him.
These two are thrown together and it seems that a little Christmas magic is all that they needed to stay together long enough to fall for each other. There's a bit of a snag towards the end when Ryan doesn't tell Chrissy the entire truth and she finds out anyway but I still liked the ending. This was a cute, quick read.

Cute story.
This was a cute story. There was a good storyline and the characters were well developed for the most part.
A singer of a band is manipulated by her crush and ends up in big trouble. As fate would have it her mate is there at the right time to save her. Will she be able to move past the hurt her çrush caused her to be his mate for life?
There are heart warming moments, a few make out scenes, one sex scenes, and a little adventure. My only hesitation is that I just can't believe anyone would be as naive as the female MC, I knew what was happening as soon we were introduced to her crush. Then she switches from 0 to 100 for no real reason that is described in the book. That threw me off a bit or I would give a better review. It is a cute Christmas story though so if that is what you are looking for it is worth a read.

The Christmas time story has touching moments, steamy times, and intrigue. Could the bear shifter find happiness with a human woman who knew nothing about shifters? As a protector could he protect her and their love?
A fun touching story to enjoy for the season.

Sweet Christmas romance! Chrissy works at a animal shelter in Northern Maine and sings in a band. She has a crush on Fred, a talent manager, who she helps by making donation deliveries when she goes over the boarder into Canada for gigs. She’s really hoping that Fred will start showing her more attention, but when some craziness happens after one of her gigs in Canada, she’s going to have a whole lot more to worry about than just romance. Luckily, along for her crazy adventure, is were-bear, Ryan. He’s on his way to play Santa for a fellow were-bear den that could use a little more Christmas spirit. She’s naive, but has a good heart. He’s super sweet and protective. Fun chemistry between them! Plus, some steam! Liked the bits of action and the whole premise. Good Christmas romance!

Her Protector: Werebear Holiday Romance (Northeast Kingdom Bears Book 16) by V. Vaughn is such a fantastically amazing story that I could not put down. This is book number sixteen in this fantastically amazing series that I have been so hooked on since the very beginning. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about bear shifters, holiday and paranormal romance.

This was a short, sweet, romance. Chrissy wants to be loved and is a little, ok a lot, on the clueless side when it comes to men. She is too trusting until her life is in danger and she realizes that not everything is as it appears to be. Enter Ryan, her now protector. He swoops in when she needs someone to get her out of danger and protect her not only from the crazies of the world but her own self too. With the help of a little Christmas magic there is a HEA to this story.

I enjoyed reading about Chrissy and Ryan, the interaction and chemistry between them is wonderful. This book, has a good storyline, it is entertaining, and filled with action and adventure. A short and sweet romance great for an afternoon read. This tale is the perfect read when you just need a quick burst of HEA. This author spins her romance magic to bring Chrissy and Ryan together to stir a readers feel good buttons. Sometimes we all just need a quick escape from today’s madness. What a Christmas to have. Chrissy is the sweet girl that is always helping others and looking for love and family for herself. When she finds herself in trouble a stranger will become her protector. But destiny has plans for them. Romance and Christmas make a wonderful present. You will find plenty of both in this story. Expect a little danger but mostly a romance for the holidays.

WOW!! So Good!!
Well written story and well developed characters! Chrissy has such a crush on Fred! Her band plays on the weekends and that is where Fred discovered her. He is paying for her singing lessons for her to get even better!

I enjoyed the book until the end. When Chrissy got angry at Ryan, I cried to her not to give up. And the ending was great knowing she did the change and was bearing babies, I cried at the happiness. Thank you,MS Vaughn for bringing me happiness through this story

2.5 stars rounded down because this doesn't deserve three. It was Okayish, plot wise, but there are many things that are unexplained. I didn't like Chrissy, she was TSTL and kinda selfish. He was just bland.
