Andres Miedoso is still afraid of everything as a grown-up, even after all his adventures with Desmond Cole. He lives in New York City with his family, and he remains best friends with Desmond but returns to Kersville only when he's needed.
My first grade son just loves the Desmond Cole Ghost Patrol stories, we've read the whole series up to this point and plan to read the entire series. I did want to share that this was the first book in the series that the ending disappointed my son. He loves the monsters in the stories and this one he felt fell short. He still loved the book just said the ending wasn't what he was expecting. He wasn't so disappointed not to continue the series because we've already ordered the next book in the series.
Another favorite of my 4.5 year old. We read this one multiple times during the week we borrowed it. There was a particularly silly scene where the classroom was engulfed in a cloud of smelly farts, and the kiddo just thought this was a laugh riot.
