Deliver “Exceptional Business Value” aligned to “Organizational Strategy” through structured program management and stand out from the crowd by attaining the elite PgMP credential Programs are vehicles for organizations to realize their strategic objectives and goals. As the industry shifts from just delivery of projects and programs to a more value-driven and benefits-oriented model, program management acts as a key piece in the puzzle that allows organizations to extract the most business value & benefits from a group of related initiatives that are managed as one program. The biggest reason why strategic programs fail is due to the strategy execution gap, where the people executing the strategy don’t understand “Why” we are doing this or “Where” we are going with this. The Program Manager is a key role that bridges this strategy execution gap, who leads the program towards success by keeping the team focused on the end goals that are aligned to the organizational strategy and direction. I highly recommend this book to any new program manager who wants to understand and improve the programs they work on or anyone who is aspiring to become a program manager and wants to get PMI PgMP Certified.

This book focusses on exam contents instead of mock questions, so use it as a study guide for self learning as well.

There were WoW factors throughout the book with references to exam and real life tips for easier understanding and application of the concepts and as pointers/flash cards for you to remember!

Overall I was impressed with this book, for the way it guides you through the book seamlessly, the simple language used for easier understanding and no wonder one of the founding member of PMI Mr.Lee R Lambert wrote the foreword! praising the Author...

There is an absolute dearth of appropriate study resources for PgMP on the market which makes it a difficult exam to crack. Moreover, you seldom find books which cover the fundamentals of the PMP framework. You can always expect some questions from the PMBOK on the PgMP exam which pose a challenge to the people who have not earned the PMP credential beforehand.
This book provides a truly holistic treatment of the PgMP by establishing a thorough groundwork before progressing to the advanced concepts. The language is lucid, and all the concepts are fit in a coherent and comprehensible manner. The progression of ideas is also well articulated. If you want to ace the PgMP look no further. This indeed is the best book you can lay your hands on.
