That's right I first wrote my name at the age of two and I've been writing ever since. Growing up I always felt invisible. I suffered from that 'Middle Child Syndrome', so when my voice wasn't heard, I made my own story.
My journal and my pen became my companion. I would write stories where my characters looked like me (thick, tall, and pretty), they loved to read, was educated, and realistic. The older I got the more my imagination grew, which caused my stories to be more diverse.
Becoming an author came about in an unintentional way. I've been through many things in my adult life. My husband, who's my backbone, has always admired my strength. We suffered a devastating loss, our daughter. My husband urged me to tell my story, to be a light for someone else. I took him up on his advice and wrote my pains and truths.

Ooooohhh, my heart ❤️ 🥰😍!! This was a beautiful story! Furious was some kind of man honey, wheeeewwww!!! He & Chaviona made a beyond amazing couple & I enjoyed reading their love story from beginning to end!
I love me some Sy, she was the smartest, sweetest, funniest kid EVER!! Bestfriend JJ was the type of bestfriend you want on your team & she was funny af! As well, Six-Nine was also a bomb bestfriend to Furious! I am about read about him and JJ, they were made for one another!
Other then the errors, I really enjoyed this story!!!

Love conquers all!
The book should be called “Resurrection”. Furious and Cha were broken hearted, but they gave love a chance again and triumphed! The other characters also found love and fulfillment in their own way. JJ was the perfect friend for Cha. The editing wasn’t the best, but the book will make you laugh, cry, and experience various other emotions. Real life storyline. I’m glad my sister recommended this.

Oh my god!!! Fill me up, fill me up....
This was speechless. It was good, it was rough, it was sweet, it was gritty, it was sad, it was funny, it was beautiful, it was perfect....I could go on and on and on....
This is my first time reading such hardcore, vivid, rough type of story (meaning language and all of these slang) and my second time reading MS. Sumter, and she did not disappoint me at all.
Chaviona and Furious were so perfect, better than Silas, although he gave us Sylyas, who by the was was a riot with Jr. Man the stuff that comes out of a child's mouth is so priceless and MS. Sumter was able to capture that on point without making these children more than what they were. I loved how respectful Furious was of Chaviona's house and waited until Sy was out to consumed their relationship, beautiful🤗! And can I say Furious was 🙊🤐🙈 can't say anything but Alpha to the third degree and I love it. I would love this Fury in my backyard...
JJ and Six-nine were the bomb. More so JJ than anyone and I hope that anyone who has a BFF like JJ should cherish this undying devotion and love for one another. What happened to Six-nine was messed up and a huge reality check but it's almost time for these two to either get it or get someone. Shawnda man, what a character!!! Hilarious....
All in all this is my second time reading a standalone from MS. Sumter and I do not regret it at all. She brings out real life issue to her story and make you relate to all of her characters, flaws and all. I love how she can make you embrace yourself all while you are reading her story and make you feel that there is a Furious out there just for you and that you shouldn't settle for nothing less.
The only downside was that the language was a little bit too slang or hardcore for me. Specially where Chaviona is concern, where she is a second grade teacher and the cursing or better yet the use of profanity was just a little bit too loose in front of the children. It was too lose for my own eyes😱.... But still it was perfect!!!

👍Loved It!
What a great story of love that developed from a tragedy of mistaken identity and a money hungry girlfriend that has no loyalty. The storyline is awesome. The drama off the chain and very entertaining. The action in the bedroom mind blowing. The characters personalities in the story is on point. Furious is my favorite of all because he is a walking God in my head. Mmm! I love a fine, take charge, bossy man, who is very outspoken and smart and have that beast that dwells within him. Now Blue she's a sweetheart. She's a curvy, beautiful, voluptuous woman with dark-skin and blue eyes. I've never encountered a person here in the states of this nature but heard about it and viewed some on the internet. I think it's so cool and I have to say they're beautiful people. I'm so glad Furious and Blue didn't give up on themselves. Even though their meet cute wasn't cute at all. They still gave love another try. I can't leave Blue's baby girl out. For a two year her antics and demeanor was hilarious. The things she said made me feel like she was much older. You know what they say about kids like that. She's been here before. She was just too cute. Now we need to work on JJ and Six Nine. It has to be a story there. Definitely Chavon too. Great Read! ReneeG 👍

Second chances
This was definitely about second chances. Sometimes we go thru life with plain and hurt and forget that we still have things to live for. That was definitely Chaviona and Fury. They needed each other to help them heal but also show each other that it is ok to move on and fall in love again. Chaviona was so strong but still held on to the past. And Fury was all the man she needed but being with her helped him understand exactly that. JJ is definitely the friend we all need. She has no problem standing up for herself and also Cha and Sy. Her and Six-Nine seems to hit it off.

I really like this book I loved fury and Cha’s relationship .. they started off rough cause fury’s rude butt , but once they got it together I loved seeing their relationship grow I’m glad they took it slowly and built something together before they actually had sex that’s something you don’t see in most books. Jhmaica and Six Nine need their own book , everybody needs a friend like her 🤔.. but over all this book was so good 😊

Great story
If the grammar and errors were fixed it would be so much better. I am not speaking of the slang used but some words were misplaced or spelled incorrectly ,making me reread certain parts of the book. If it weren't for those minor things this book would rate 5 stars. The story line was awesome ,positively written very well thought out and gave a outlook on love and relationships people relate to

I must admit I was not feeling this book first few chapters. What I thought was a ton of errors turned out to be the characters dialogue. I almost stop reading this, but I didn’t and OMG I’m so glad I did. Fury just needed someone to melt the ice around his heart, and Cha Cha did. I loved how he loved Sy. I hope there’s a spinoff with 6’9 and JJ. This author did a great job🤩🤩

Great Read
Great book.. Chavion was in a dark place after witnessing the death of her fiance. At first I didn't like Furious but he was upset and angry because of the hurt he hadn't let go. I'm glad they ended up together. They filled each other's void in their hearts. What they create together was beautiful.

Finding love after tragedy !!!!!!
Furious was exactly what the doctor ordered, although their first encounter didn’t go quite well I’m glad he redeemed himself. For Chaviona with Furious being nasty to her actually helped, it got her out of her funk. Jj and SixNine was just two nuts....

Wow
What a beautiful book! I love cha’s love story she went threw a tragedy and still found love in the end. I really wish I could have seen jj and 6’9’s relationship development, they were obviously a match.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a great love story with some serious truths.

Fury and Cha
Loved the storyline!! Chat was not open for love and had no desire to ever love again. I’m glad Fury came into her life it wasn’t love at first sight but it’s definitely a forever love. I took a star away because there was some confusion with time frames and minor errors.

I really felt for Cha she definitely went through some things in life. I was glad she had family and a great Best friend to stand behind her. Now Furious was disrespectful as hell. I mean rude for no reason but the live he had for her showed through. Solid read.

Wow
Man Cha Cha been through it but came out in the end shining bright like a diamond. I love how she got a second chance with happiness. Having Silas murdered by the police was a reminder that our black men are having to face being killed for no reason. Great story

A really good book! chaviona and Furious was just so good! JJ and Six-Nine was crazy! I laughed so hard I cried when Six-Nine beat the black off Chavon, man that was one of the best part! I also just loved Sy and Jr big lil ass they had me laughing so hard!!
