His business took off while hers whimpers in the shadows and leaves her going ranch to ranch, asking for work. She'll do whatever she has to do to make ends meet so she can support herself and her fourteen-year-old daughter.
They'e already living with her aunt and uncle, but when Bishop agrees to her high daily rate, Montana starts to believe she'll finally get a place of her own.
But Montana holds darkness in her heart, including hard feelings for her family, her ex-husband, and even the Walkers. Will the construction in their personal lives bring them together this Christmas? Or will it only drive a wedge between them?

I love the way these books set in Three Rivers become about entire families, the whole community. This may have been Bishop and Montana’s story, but the whole Glover clan plays important parts in it. Heck, even the Walkers get pulled back into the drama too. I fell for Bishop pretty much from the beginning of this book. However, I didn’t always understand Montana, so I wasn’t always as connected to her the way I was with Bishop. One of the things I liked best about this book was seeing how all the family relationships play out in this book, both the good and the bad. And the more we get to know about the Glover family, the more I want to read the stories of the individual family members. I’m already looking forward to what’s coming next. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

The Construction of Cheer is book 3 in the Shiloh Ranch in Three Rivers series by Liz Isaacson about the Glover family.
Next up is Bishop Glover and Montana Martin. Montana has her own construction company she needs more jobs to pay her bills so she goes from ranch promoting her business.
Bishop is head of construction at the Shiloh Ridge Ranch but he needs more help. When Montana shows up at his door, sparks ignite so he hires her on the spot.
What happens next will keep you turning pages to see updates on the family, disagreements that happen, challenges that need to be met but with the support of family, faith and love, Bishop and Montana will find their HEA!
Bishop is the youngest Gliver and has always struggled to find his place in the family, he worries he will be overshadowed, looked over, that he is not needed and he really needs to be needed, to be wanted, to be accepted....unconditionally. The minute he sees Montana he knows that she is important, she could be his 'one', but she has more emotional baggage than he does. Is he prepared to accept Montana completely? Unconditionally? Watching Montana struggle is difficult and your heart goes out to her, those who should love and support her without question, have betrayed her and left her with a daughter to raise with almost no support system, so she is wary, hesitant to trust generally but overly cautious witb her heart and Rory's...however Bishop is patient, he is happy to go slow and prove himself. Will she be able to lower her walls and open her heart? Once again we get not just Bushop and Montana's story but more of the Glover family and even a catch up with the Walker's too, which is one of the best things about this series, you get to see the family grow as they bring you into their circle and let you see the good, the bad, the ugly and of course the love. You truly feel like a nember of the family and look forward to more visits to Shiloh Ridge Ranch.
Can Montana and Bishop construct a Godly Forever 💞?
The way we show ❤️, varies by the individual. We all have a past, that affects our perception of today. Thus, the path to a Forever 💞, can be complicated. That's the case for Montana and Bishop, in Liz Isaacson's "The Construction of Cheer: Glover Family Saga and Christian Romance (Shiloh Ridge Ranch in Three Rivers Romance Book 3)"!
I ❤️ the Clear Christian Message in this Story. I ❤️ how much the reconstructed Blue Barn, means to Bishop. I ❤️ that I learned more about the Glover Family, and its history. I ❤️ that this Novel included characters, from LI's earlier "Seven Son's Ranch" Series.
I Highly Recommend You Read this Engrossing, Fantastic Story. You won't be disappointed! ❤️📖 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
OMG! I would give this ten stars if I could! I am loving this series! The Glovers are wonderful. I was crying when they found the letters. So touching. I will be reading this series again and again. So much love!
Another great story from Shiloh Ridge Ranch! Bishop is the youngest of the Glover men and he loves blondes. He answers the door early one morning and finds a gorgeous blonde looking for a job doing construction on the ranch. Montana is a single mother of a teenage daughter who is trying to keep her construction business profitable. She needs steady, good paying work so she can make a better life for her and her daughter. There is definitely an attraction between the two but Montana is very independent and also has to consider her daughter. You will love the interactions with a teenager especially when she begins dating and getting advice from the Glover women! It is so special when the Glovers find old love letters between their parents and a bonus of letters written to each of them from their father before he passed. The Glover family traditions at Christmas will bring tears to your eyes. These stories show the love and commitment between family members. They may not always get along or like each other but they always love each other. And they all have complex issues they must get through. This is a great series with older main characters that have history. Don’t miss this new clean, inspirational romance from Liz Isaacson!
This book is part of the series at Shiloh Ridge, but don't worry I think you COULD read this stand alone, I am not sure why you would want to, this is a VERY engaging series and you keep up with the whole family by reading them all. ANYWAY, this is about Bishop who is the youngest of one side of the family, he is looking to see what he brings to the table in dynamics of this family, he is the "builder" of the bunch and does and is in charge of all the construction on the large ranch. When the books starts, he has just finished some large projects, when Montana knocks on the door looking for work, he is very attracted to her so hires her on the spot. Good thing too, as the book moves forward there are many more projects to be done. This couple has their issues Montana has a teenage daughter, so that also complicates things. I think if you like cowboys and clean romance this is a MUST read!! Well the whole series has been excellent. If you are a fan of the walkers from the previous books, there is a few cameos by some of them too. If you haven't read them, it will not take away from the enjoyment of this series at all!!
The Construction of Cheer, Shiloh Ridge Ranch in Three Rivers Book 3. This is a continuation of the Glover family saga. The wedding for Bear and Sammy and Ranger and Oakley takes place is this book. They decide they need to remodel all the cowboy cabins and the homestead of Bull Glover that three of the Glover's live in. Bishop is in charge of construction and he gets an early morning visit from a woman asking for construction work and she is his type. He hired her on the spot as she is a contractor that has only done a few jobs around Three Rivers and a single mom. Bishop fell for her immediately. Their love story is told in this book along with the ups and downs of cowboy dating with some of the others. A treasure is found inside a wall of one of the cabins. Their family continues to be growing so fast that they start planning a home for each Glover that wants to marry and have a family. Once all the construction is done on the ranch Bishop and Montana start building their house behind the blue barn. This is a good series but, you will not get the full effect unless read in order.

I absolutely love this series by Liz Isaacson. This is the third book in the Glover Family saga and features Bishop, the youngest son. He answers his door one morning and finds Montana, a master carpenter looking for work. Bishop hires her on the spot to be in charge of the construction/renovation taking place on the family ranch. While Bishop is partial to beautiful blondes, Montana is a hard working single mom of a teenager and is not looking for a relationship. Liz Isaacson uses her words to draw her readers further into the Glover family dynamics. There are no shortcuts taken in the writing of this novel. The author provides details of her characters and the interactions between them. She expands on the previous stories about Bear and Ranger in this novel, as well. I can't wait to read the next book in this series! This is a clean, contemporary western romance. It is a standalone book but I believe reading the books in order will enhance a reader's enjoyment. 5 stars!
Montana is a gifted carpenter but she is out of work. All of the ranches where she's looked didn't need help - until she stopped at Shiloh Ridge Ranch and ran into Bishop Glover. He was in need of help on the ranch and he was instantly interested in Montana.
They work together on the ranch as they fall further and further into Like, but neither wants to acknowledge the strength of their interest.
I liked the books that I've read in this series because the women are skilled and running their own companies. This is part of a series and the brothers and cousins who run the ranch are an interesting bunch. Several of them have relationship issues and none of them have had good luck with love. But they are really good at running a very successful and prosperous ranch.
The story line is interesting and kept my interest. This is a clean romance, where the big thing is kissing. There is also a religious aspect to the story.
I've loved each book about the Glover family in this Shiloh Ridge Ranch series by Liz Isaacson but this one is my favorite so far. It's a story about connection and belonging that has some very moving and poignant moments. I love the way the Glover family loves one another and how they remember and honor their family members who have already passed. This story focuses on Bishop Glover and his courtship of Montana, a divorced mom of a teenage daughter, who is struggling with a painful past that has left her disconnected from her family. Bishop is not only handsome, charming, and romantic but he also helps Montana in her quest to make peace with her past by walking alongside her and sharing what has helped him in his own struggles. This is a good one, folks! Highly recommend! I was entrusted with a copy of this book by the author and this is my voluntary and honest review.
Welcome back to Shiloh Ridge Ranch. This is the story of Montana Martin and Bishop Glover. It was so good I could not put the book down. I read in periods of 4 to 6 hours.
Ms. Isaacson has done it again. Another book with detailed characters and rich story lines.
She shows the reality of a bad divorce and being a single parent. Montana has full custody. She's juggling work, daycare and spending quality time with her child while keeping secret all the things she can't afford to provide like a home. Montana lives with her Aunt and Uncle.
The experience with her husband has caused Montana to be distrustful of men. Bishop was interested the first time he saw her beautiful blond hair. Does he have the patience to go slowly with Montana or is it too much for him. You'll have to read the book to find out. It is definately worth it,
The Construction of Cheer is another wealthy cowboy story from the huge Shiloh Ridge Ranch. As the Glover men have married, there as been a need for more housing on the ranch and Bishop Glover has done most of the work. I admired Montana Martin who has a non-traditional career as a woodworker and building designer. Montana started out with lots of bitterness toward her family, ex-husband and others but time spend with Bishop and the rest of the Glover family as well as attending church help her learn about forgiveness and trust. Bishop may not have children but he shows a great deal of wisdom in dealing with Montana's teenage daughter! I recommend The Construction of Cheer to anyone who enjoys cowboy reading. I received a complimentary e-book from the author. This is my honest opinion.
This is a clean love story and so much more. This revolves around the lives and loves of the Glover family. It has such character development with a couple of main characters in each story but the secondary characters are numerous and play vital roles. The plot is unique and and the challenges to the relationships feels real. I found it easy to become immersed in this story. Not wanting to put it down. I’m thrilled that it is a series because I definitely want more. But it is really not a standalone. These stories build on each other and should really be read in order. I think it would be confusing and off putting to jump around. They build one upon the next including all members of the family. The story line is rich and you can picture the ranch and town easily with all the details. This is a clean Christian romance with some kissing but in my opinion would be suitable for all ages.
I am amazed at the number of stories within this story. This book covers all the members of the family and shows some of the previous things that happened in earlier books, but shown through a different point of view. The main focus I saw with this book is the meeting and courtship of Bishop and Montana. Both of these are very strong characters. There are so many things in this book that I loved – especially when the missing letters were found – something that made the brothers tear up. I didn’t find anything in this book that I didn’t love. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
(I received an advance review copy from the author. This review is completely my own.
This is a fun and uplifting story about Montana (a female woodworker) and Bishop Glover. Montana has fallen on hard times and is looking for work. When she arrives at Bishop's front door, he is fascinated by her looks. His sister has a different opinion of her. This author has several books involving this family and all of them are entertaining to the end. I always look forward to the next story in the series. This one is based around the Christmas Holiday and you feel like you are right there along with all of them.
When I first started reading the story, I thought I was getting bored with the story line of the series. As I kept reading, I really got into the characters and plot and enjoyed finishing the book. Both characters have chips on their shoulders for different reasons. Both have challenges with their families, although Montana doesn't get along with her family for good reason. Will the relationship be professional and personal or will it go only one direction? I received an ARC of this book and I am giving an honest review.
Montana showed up on Bishop’s porch asking for a job. He got to the door barely dressed and invited her in. The interview went better after he put on a shirt! As a builder – especially a cabinet maker – things had been a little rough for Montana. She has a teenager to raise as a single parent and her hours of work were dependent on when she needed to home for Aurora. See just what her hang-ups are and why by reading this great book. I tried reading it in one sitting but it was just a little too long. Great job, Liz.
I am so glad the Glover family is so large. That means that Liz Isaacson won’t be writing last one in series for a long time. I have enjoyed interacting with the Glover family. All the men are handsome, rich, hardworking, family oriented and individuals with their own strengths, so are their sisters. This combined family of brothers, sisters and cousins can teach all of us how to love our families. It is hard to believe how estranged Bishop feels and yet the patience he shows with Montana. I love how she ties in previous series’ families such as the Walkers.
Liz Isaacson gives us a further tale about the Glover family. We've met them all before but this one centers around Bishop. We get glimpses of the others as well. Liz is able to blend in vignettes of other cowboy families we've met before. It takes great talent to keep all the threads of a story together when you have so many sons and daughters of two families to keep together, but yet keep the characters true to what you've written about them from before..
This is another great book in this series about the Glover family and the journey that Bishop and Montana have to take to get to their HEA is full of pain but also comes with healing and the promise of so much joy! I love these books centered around the community and all of the families that we have met that make up that wonderful area! It is always so good to get to see how various members of those other families are doing as we follow the lives and loves of this new family we are just now getting to know.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Montana had been going to ranches looking for wood working, construction and\or design. Who should this blonde run into than Bishop. She wasn't sure about him due to his flirty and professional chatting. She really needed a job and hoped he had something. Bishop pretty much hired her on site and as soon as they began working together they seemed to hit it off on all fronts. Bishop even gets along well with Montana's teenage daughter. Now if they can get past the big mistake Bishop made, they might be able to make things permanent!
Bishop is in charge of the buildings on Shiloh Ridge, Montana arrives on the doorstep looking for work. She's had to move home, to her aunt and uncle's, with her daughter because her construction company fell apart. She's very jealous of Micah because his business has flourished. The moment Bishop sees her he wants to employ her and keep seeing her, but as in all Liz's books, the path of true love isn't easy.
Wow. This book was so much better than I was expecting. There was so much on family in it. Forgiveness, and relationships, and just everything. There was dealing with loss and there was a huge helping of dealing with teenagers. I loved revisiting the Walkers. We got so much on the characters from the other books plus the future books stars. Wow. This book was the whole enchilada. I could not put it down.
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Loved this well written wonderful story plot with Bishop and Montana who meet when she knocks on his door looking for construction work to help support herself and her teenage daughter. Where he comes from a loving caring family she does not have any contact with her family. As they spend time together she sees that the love and support of a family can make a big difference and she wants that for her family and that begins the road to forgiveness. Great story and loved all the characters.
Wonderful characters in this installment of the Glover family. Bishop is young and wants to be settled. Montana has a past that has left her skittish. Bishop is the construction branch of the family but Montana is highly skilled and can teach him a thing or two. Aurora is a teen and mother and daughter are trying their best to navigate their changing relationship. Really loved this book and this family.
Bishop and Montana was a great live story. I live how Luz Isaacson uses the characters from previous books, radically the Seven Sons books into the story. Makes me remember alk the goid tines alk us cousins, aunts and Uncles Gor along in a family where my mom was the baby if 21 kids. The noise, the merriment and epically the share new news was done at these gatherings. Her books bring back hone those traditions.
Awe, another Glover romance..... I really do love this family
When Montana shows up at Shiloh Ridge looking for a job, she was not prepared for Bishop Glover. As they work together, she realizes that he is exactly what she has dreamed about for her happily ever after.
Things are going well, until she learns he contacted her competitor. Little does she realize it wasn't done to hurt her, just help her. Will she forgive him or be alone all over again? ~
Another great book in this series of Glover Family Saga. The Glover’s are a very wealthy family who own Shiloh Ridge Farm. Montana is a young entrepreneur who is looking for work in construction. Bishop hires her to do some construction on the farm while his brother and cousin, who own the farm ,are on their honeymoon. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
I've loved every one of Liz Isaacson's books I've read so far and look forward to reading more. She has a gift for describing her characters' feelings and struggles. The Walker and Glover families make for excellent stories. Their sometimes complicated relationships are fascinating to read about. I highly recommend this book and all of Liz Isaacson's books.
