Faye can count on one hand the amount of times she has seen her dad in the last ten years, and now, he has somehow persuaded her to spend the summer at his house by the river.
A change of scenery may just help with the writer’s block that has been plaguing her for weeks since she found out her ex fiance’s secret.
Or just maybe, she will find an adventure to live, rather than one to just write about.
This uplifting story warmed my heart and had me cheering on Faye and River. They both are dealing with emotional setbacks in their lives and have connected at the right time. Will their newfound relationship lead them along the path to the happiness they deserve.
I thought this book was cute. Since it is only 109 pages, we weren't really able to flush out the characters and watch their growth. Now I love a good insta-love, but this one was just wayyy to instant. I think they knew each other for a few weeks and weren't even together during that time.
