The only way to save her is to claim her for himself.
The Ulkar are the stuff of nightmares, and they want to do much worse to Ellie than kill her. They want to breed her.
Kula is sent to save her. He’s an Aparan warrior, the only race in the galaxy strong enough to fight the Ulkar. He swears to die protecting her, but there’s only one way to save her: The Ulkar will not breed with a woman who has already been claimed, so Kula will have to do it first.
Aparans cannot breed with an unwilling mate. It goes against every fiber of their being. Ellie is nervous, but she’s drawn to the powerful alien warrior. She tells herself she’s doing what she must to survive...even if she enjoys it.
Ellie may have been willing to sleep with Kula just one time, but what she didn’t know is that Aparans mate for life. Now he’s abducted her, and he’s calling her his Muru.
Will she convince him to let her go, or is being bonded to the dominant alien warrior exactly what she always needed?
Alien's Primal Bond is a full-length, standalone alien sci-fi romance. It features a possessive, alpha alien in intense, steamy scenes with his human mate. There are no cliffhangers or cheating, and a happily ever after is guaranteed!
Aya Morningstar lives in Denver, where she toils her days away in a drab office. By night, Aya brings to life sizzling characters who will make you squirm.
She writes with a hot cup of Earl Grey and her loyal werecorgi by her side.
Not quite 2 & 1/2 stars. Well, if I hadn't read this thru KindleUnlimited, I'd be pissed at spending $. So I only wasted my time. Otherwise, it was a very immature read, with adult content. I felt it was more about the sex than anything. I'm ok for the sex, but I need a decent story to go with it, this did not have the decent story. The story read like a novella/short story than a book. I felt the world building was minimalistic, and the character development was lacking. I didn't feel emotions from the main characters, only lust. I would definitely not re-read this, and I definitely won't continue with the series.
Why ? Well, here's a prime example of the writing style ...
"We reach the forest. It’s a small college town, and the downtown area is next to a large, hilly forest. There are a lot of summer cabins in these woods, but it’s already late Fall, and almost no one is living in these cabins at this time of year"
That whole paragraph could have been reduced to maybe one solid, concise sentence. I'm amazed that there is so much repetition in such a short paragraph. It's amateurish. If by the 1/3 mark your world building is next to nil, you're not doing it right, it's an alien book, you need to really give more by this point. In fact, at no point do the aliens behave OR speak like aliens. They are seriously no different than humans, which makes for a sucky Sci-Fi book.
Then, there is the whole mess of characters. The female character is a hot mess. She has already brought up that she has major emotional issues, but she's super quick to use sex to ignore her situation. She's not sure she wants something serious with *gasp* an alien, but yeah no, she jumps his bones every time she sees him. As far as said alien goes, he doesn't really have a personality, at least no one that comes through clearly, he's truly no different than the other two aliens who are around the couple.
The sex scenes are borderline cringey, especially the inner monologue that happens while it's you know, happening. Again, amateurish. I don't understand what causes "the bond" for these aliens, other than what, having sex? Because if that's the case, that would imply the aliens are virgins right? See what I mean? Not a very well thought out story.
I'm glad it was KU, I would have been furious to have paid for this and would have returned it promptly.
To be honest, it felt rushed and chopped, I would have loved for the author to take more time developing the characters and the storyline, the chemistry between H and h felt forced at times and somewhat out of place; and, I know is petty but I got annoyed by the inconsistency of the name, (sometimes Soturi and others Koturi) what was that about? I will recommend it as a filler.
This book had a few interesting twists on the usual sci-fi romance theme. It was interesting to have most of the book take place on earth, exploring the fun of having an alien try to be human. Also the breaking of the bond, doing away with the fated and having to work on a relationship was something I haven’t seen much before.
I was looking for something light and sexy when I picked this up, and it fit the bill. However, I didn’t really enjoy it. The whole thing with breaking the bond and trying to build a relationship without it is interesting, but fixing that relationship in a few hours makes the whole thing superficial. Also the sex at times felt like the author needed to include a certain number of those scenes rather than as if that is what the characters would actually do.
Overall impression is it’s a bit superficial and I don’t think I’ll read the next in the series.

It was a DNF for me unfortunately. The world building was very confusing and while I really liked the Hero, the heroine was awful. She was so quick to argue and fight knowing she could walk all over him with the bond. One minutes she watches him get a punishment he got to save her and the next she kicks him out of her room because he tells her he is jealous of her outfit.
It just had too much confusion from the world and the heroines emotions!
This is full of drama and adventure. Very sexy read with some comedy and potential love lost when their bond was threatened. But they found they love just as strongly as they had with the bond. This story picks up more brothers unknown to Kula and his two brothers, who revolted against the Ulkar - their primary sure race. Kula's 2 known brothers are quested eith picking up 2 more women to protect against the Ulkar to prevent their quest to breed these specially gifted women thst they are teleported to strange worlds many light-years away from Ulkar. I gave this read 5 cups of scalding java, ☕☕☕☕☕. I read preview of book 2 in the end, definitely worth to buy to read on!
DNF I found this book to be an insult to my inteligence. It has too explicit sex scenes to be meant for baby audience, yet the writing and story is infantile. Characters are all over the place without logic or reason, the plot, while in its basics is feasible, is laughable or maybe it's execution that just is so, so bad. Changes of hearts occur constantly and without plausible explanation. It is just a mess. I tried, I really tried to get into this story, especially as I liked the series of frozen mates and seeked this book out because of author. But there was no way I could get behind anything here. I don't know what happened, but I refuse to dumb myself down to the intelligence level of cabbage just so I would like this story.
I got 20% into this book and couldnt read any more. The writing style is HORRIBLE, not to mention the h is super needy. Oh hey, look at the creepy guy staring at you... oh same creepy guy comes up to you and basically says "come with me if you want to live" (yes, Arnold voice in my head and all). By the way, we have to have sex, like, right now or the weird oil stain looking tentacles are going to come over and do some weird anime tentacle sex to you. She was way to easy to convince (but hey, hot muscles and horns on a sexy alien? Ok, who could say no?) H was also a meh for me. Big bad alien with muscles and a magical axe comes in to save the day, but he talks like a teenager. I couldnt keep reading, the writing style gave me "horny teenager" vibes. Nope, count me out
It wasn't horrible but I wish I hadn't spent the $
I love sci-fi romance the possibilities are endless and so much is acceptable... however... I'm only half way through but it feels like an angsty horny 15yr old wrote it... there are a few rudimentary typos, not really a problem but stuff you would expect to be caught easily. Overall... just ok especially if you don't mind adult love interest with the mentality of an angsty horny 15yr old. I think I sprained my eyes I rolled them so often. I REALLY wish I hadn't spent the .99 but am exceedingly happy it wasn't more or I would've been very upset.
... This one isn't good. I think it has a lot to do with cadence. I'm 17% of the way through, and while I understand the characters as introduced, and storyline as presented...it's so flat it's just painful to read, frankly.
This is not good writing. It's okay middle/lower high school execution, but it's bare minimum with zero inflection or interest. It's just action stacked on action for the sake of page numbers, it doesn't feel like there's any flow or integration to make the words come alive, and it's a little frustrating.
Shelving this as 'dnf' and leaving this author's work alone for now I wager.
I got this recommended by dear old amazon and tried it. It was hilarious. And ridiculous. Right in the middle you actually got a story, character development and a promising plot. No idea if that Raiska guy got his own story or his guys got a spin off series (update, oh yes there are the Breeding Games). I only saw the other two Aparans with their books. And I won't read them. If Soturis story is about leashing and submitting women, no thanx. Dealbreaker. So this book here had its moments, few and far, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who's looking for an evenings entertainment.
It started out really slow and then the story exploded into a great story.
Kula was a bit weird, an alien trying to fit in as a human but the things he did and went through for his Maru, Ellie, that is something. He really loves her with or without the bond.
I thought the story would just sizzle out with a happily ever but it branches off. Cant wait for the next book
This was a dry entertaining and funny romp between a human female and an Aparaian male. The alien has studied humanity but is absolutely clueless when it comes to applications like running a dishwasher or trying to cook. And Ellie the human female acted like everything could go back to normal if she could just go home. I liked the book and can’t wait to read Emma’s story.
Wasn’t sure about this book to start with , but so glad i continued with it because it had me lol at how the aliens tried to take on and understand human mannerisms, especially when it came to how to act around women. The relationship between the the MC (Kula and Ellie)also has me chuckling a lot. I loved the two of them together. First book by this author will definitely be reading the nxt book in the series. This was a quick fun read I highly recommend 👍.
A great alien romance. Kula has been sent to Earth by the Council to find Ellie who is one of a few human females who can tell when the Ulkar are around. This is a humorous book with Kula changing between human and Aparan appearance all the while trying to keep Ellie safe. Her roommate Natasha dislikes him on sight and refuses to let him stay, especially when he puts eggs and bacon covered in eggshells directly into the dishwasher with the plates. This is a must-read page-turner.
Ellie and Kula are thrown together when Kula is sent to protect her from inter-dimensional rapists. They are bonded and have to try to keep the secret of aliens from Earth and protect Earth as well. But there are forces working against them and they will have to fight to stay together in this crazy tale. I freely reviewed this book.
This was a enjoyable and entertaining read it wasn't what I expected but still the same I liked. Plenty of intrigue, action, and of course steamy romance to keep you hook from beginning to end. Overall a good read looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. As always my review are voluntarily no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
Aya Morningstar is giving us a new series and it is a good one. I really enjoyed reading it. I especially found humor in this alien, Kula trying to fit in with humans. Classic dishwasher scene. I like this story line and she gives us a taste of the upcoming books. I am really looking forward to this next one as I believe it will be an enemies to lovers, which happens to be one of my favorites!
Awesome start for a new series with everything you want in a romance about aliens! The story was exciting and kept your attention throughout with enough action, drama, love, and steamy hot romance with awesome characters. A must buy and so ready to read the next book in the series.
Great book! The only issue I really had was Ellie's attitude. She is a little to self-centered. She doesn't think about how things would change being with an alien. I know there are people like that, I just find the attitude a real turn off. If you can't handle scary dimension aliens, and abduction this book is not for you.
There are only three Aparan and they are used and abused by multiple races to protect them from the Ulkar who are after specific human females. Kula forms an instant bond with Ellie. Unfortunately not understanding human females at all, Ellie is less than impressed with his attitude. It’s an uphill battle, until she realizes the consequences are way worse.
Meh, but hit and miss for me. It's an ok story, but a little childish writing wise in places. Out had some good hot scenes though. Not sure if I'll read book two but will put it on my list as possible.
Aya Morningstar delivers a new twist to alien abduction romance. Ellie and Kula seem made for each other and when their out of this world bond is torn from them they fight for their love and their future.

Wonderful start to a new series 😀. Excellent story line, lots of excitement, sexy aliens and creepy bad guys 😮. This is the first book I've read by this author and I recommend it highly 🤓. Thanks Aya, I'm really looking forward to reading more😊.
Love how well the story moved along and just kept up the pace. If you love fated mates this is the book for you. I won’t put a summary because it is already in the description
I really enjoyed this story. I laughed at so many of their interactions, a clueless alien trying to romance a human woman. I would recommend this book to anyone.
immature. It's full of inane analogies. Clichés. Obnoxious to the point of ridicules. I don't think this author is mentally stable, or they are mentally challenged perhaps, in any case I'm not sure they should be allowed among the public. For their own safety they should seek help.
