She was once a mafia princess, but now she's my captive...

Her family has been wiped out. All that's left are three sisters. And Chiara is meant for me and me alone.

She hates me. After all, I'm the reason her family is gone. I'm the mobster. The twisted monster who killed them all. But soon enough, she'll learn to appreciate my attention, and to bend to my will. One way or another, I always get what I want.

And right now, I want Chiara Bonifacio's submission.

I'm a sucker for innocence. Sweet, timid innocence, of which Chiara has plenty. It just makes it that much sweeter when she gives in... and breaks for me.

Twisted Marcello is the second book of a mafia romance series following two families - the Cavettis and Bonifacios. This is a dark romance with disturbing themes.

This was my second book by this author duo and I really enjoyed it. The storyline was basically the same as book one and I’m the type of reader who enjoys a story told from multiple POVs so this was definitely my jam. I liked that Marcello was on the sweet side when it came to Chiara. They had a great connection and complimented each other well. I liked that the H was a technical virgin, that was a good surprise and made their first love scene all the better. There was a good bit of angst and action mixed in that made for an interesting story. I’m looking forward to Savio’s book next!

I didn’t know going into book 2 it would be the same story that was told in book 1 just in the other brothers POV. With that being said, it was still well written and I absolutely loved Marcello. He was a complete 180 from his brother Romeo, that’s for sure. Will I read book 3? I’m still deciding...

This is the second book in the series but it can be read as a stand-alone. Chiara was a mafia princess and now she is Marcello’s captive. He has plan to make her his will the princess submit to the mobster? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters with intense chemistry and loads of dark twists and turns. I liked it.

LPThis should have been book 4. On GR here, there's only 4 books but on Amazon this is listed as book 5.

This book was pretty good. Five different people tell a lot of the same story from five different perspectives in five different books. This is Marcello and Chiara's book. The second of the twin girls that are the Bonifacio and the next to the youngest male of the Cavettis....ooops had to fix that

Wow was I disappointed in this, I read the first one and enjoyed it gave it 5 stars but this one no. I don't know how author's work together on books but I would have thought that if you are going to write about the same wedding in the second book as the one in the first book, you would have at least read what the first book had written in. I had what the bride described happened in one and I was literally reading like mad to get through to see what happens, then in this book from the groom's brothers account, same wedding, same kidnapping different account of what happened. Well sorry but for me that's it I will not be reading further. If you are going to write together collaboration is the key to getting the stories straight.

If you read book 1 Ruthless Romeo you will notice some very serious and huge discrepancies in the story line that will basically change book 1. This was very frustrating and extremely annoying making the book less enjoyable. If you did not read book 1 you will love this book. I found Chaira to be a bit of a weak heroine and after everything that happened and realizing her that father, mother and brother died for nothing and he never told her about her brother Antonio's death she forgives him way too easily - all it took was sex in a park. Then once Lucia who is now married and pregnant asks the horrible Don of the Carvetti family Antonio decide the twins Chiara and Alessandra can now eat at the table and are no longer locked in the room and tells them he is marrying them off and everyone is ok with it.
When confronted by Marcello, Antonio agreed that he can marry Chiara if he knocks her up since it will be more power or the family. Antonio is an evil horrible cruel man, and even after everything he still keeps their brother Georgio Bonifacio a prisoner with some allowances like maybe a walk in the gardens or his sisters visiting him, apparently he has more power than everyone realizes and can destroy the Calvetti family.

I know the Mafia is unemotional, cruel and horrible but I expected some kind of redemption. While Marcello and most of the characters now realize they murdered the Bonifacio family for nothing, not he nor his family ever redeem themselves for the murder and torture of Chiara's family. The characters did not grow or had the depth I expected and was looking for. I could not connect to her either, she forgave Marcello far too easily and they never had a real discussion about his family’s role in her family’s murders. All he said he had nothing to do with her brother’s death and he loves her and will never lie to her again that’s it she is just ok with it.
While I felt some love or chemistry between them, it was not intense it reminded me more of a Stockholm situation n Chiara’s part. While Marcello is definitely softer and have more of a human side than his family, I never felt that he actually grew as a person and learned the value of human life, family and love, nor did he apologize for his family hand in the girls new imprisoned lifestyle or try and work towards total freedom for them, just took what he wanted and that is Chiara as his wife. He did actually propose so that was a nice touch. The book ends right after the proposal and it does feel a bit abrupt and the end feels unfinished. An epilogue would have been great.

This is an exceptionally well written story but I give the book 3 stars because the annoying and frustrating discrepancies between this book and book 1.

This is the second book in the series. This story follows the Cavettis and Bonifacios. The first story is about Romeo and Lucia and this story is about Marcello and Chiara. Their story took place the same time as Romeo and Lucia. I had a real difficult time with the first story and the author promised things would look differently so I’m not sure if that is the cause of the changing of the details or not. The first story upset me and this story frustrated me because the details were different then the first and I really wanted to enjoy this read. This continually threw me out of the read and frustrated me to the point I almost stopped reading, so if you read the first book, I humbly state that the author is in serious need of editing not only the consistencies but also, the other edits -wrong word in the wrong place, wrong tenses, etc. I realize this is an arc, but this felt like the book was released before a proper draft reading was performed. So putting all that aside, Marcello and Chiara were immediately attracted. Marcello was quite smitten so when the Cavettis captured the Bonifacio children, Marcello searched for her. SPOILER: (I don’t think I can ever read a story about ‘innocents’ taken to pay their parents crimes again!) I am new to dark romance but everything I’ve read so far has always kept the line where children, women and innocent victims are not harmed or tortured or murdered and I am forever haunted by that. I see the next story is about Alessandra, Chiara’s twin, and Savio so I’m not sure. I really wanted to enjoy this read so for me it was a 4 star read but with the issues listed above I felt I had no choice but to give it 3.5 stars as is.

Marcello and Chiara - opposites who fit together in interesting ways

Twisted Marcello is the second book in the series that follows two families - the Cavettis and Bonifacios. The first book is Ruthless Romeo. Please note - if you have read Ruthless Romeo then you find a number of inconsistencies in the story-line of Twisted Marcello. I personally found this frustrating and irritating as it made me question if I was remembering things correctly from the first book. I hate when that happens as I usually load up the other book and go hunting for the details just to make sure my mind is not playing tricks on me. That is what I ended up doing here and my memory was correct. But on to the actual review of Twisted Marcello.....
This is the story of Marcello Cavetti and Chiara Bonifacio. When the Cavetti's kill the Bonifacio family over what ends up being a misunderstanding they keep the Bonifacio children as prisoners in their home. Marcello takes a very strong interest and liking to Chiara. He is hard and has some interesting kinks while she is innocent, sweet and pliable. But the relationship that starts to develop between them must be hidden as after all it is her sister who is marrying Romeo in a gunshot/forced wedding. So when real feelings start to develop between Marcello and Chiara things become more complicated in this dark Mafia tale.

I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

OKay if you read book 1 Ruthless Romeo you will notice very serious and sometimes huge discrepancies in the story line that will basically seem to change what happened in book 1.
For me this was kinda very aggravating and yet also frustrating and annoying making the book less enjoyable.
NOW ... If you did not read book 1 you will probably like this book. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX...........SPOILERS COMING ......XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX...........................................................
I found Chaira to be a bit of a weak heroine and after everything that happened and realizing her that father, mother and brother died for nothing and Marcello never told her about her brother Antonio she forgives him way too easily - all it took was sex in a park. Then once Lucia who is now married and pregnant asks the horrible Don of the Carvetti family Angelo to decide the twins Chiara and Alessandra can now eat at the table and are no longer locked in their room and tells them he is marrying them off and everyone is ok with it.
When confronted by Marcello, Angelo agreed that he can marry Chiara if he knocks her up since it will be more power or the family. .. Nope sorry was unimpressed with book 2 ... I am still trying to decide if I want to even attempt book 3... very disappointed

Twisted Marcello is just that a little bit twisted but very hot. Twisted Marcello is the second book in the A Dark Mafia Arranged Marriage Romance series. Marcello and Chiara both came from families in the mafia. There families have been enemies and were planning on becoming allies. Romeo and Lucia were to be married. After a horrific misunderstanding Lucia, Chaira and Alessandra became captives of the Cavetti family. The wedding was to still go through linking the families so that the Bonifacios’ family legacy will be passed on to their children. While Romeo and Lucia comes to terms with being married Marcello starts to visit Chiara. Marcello has some twisted sexual games he likes to play and wants Chiara. He had a plan to have her participate in his games by bribing her. Will it work? Will the overcome the fact that Marcello’s family murdered the girls’ family? Will the twins Chiara and Alessandra be able to ever get free? The answer to those questions you will have to read to find out for yourself. I have to admit that I enjoyed reading all about Marcello and Chiara and their relationship if you can call it that is very hot. I highly recommend this book. Trigger warning it is a dark romance and there are some triggers with kidnapping and being held captive so if you have triggers this book is bot for you.

I enjoyed the first book but this is a disaster. If you're reading this as a standalone then it's fine, which is the only reason I have given it 3 stars. Much of this book is a rehash of book 1 from Marcello's point of view, however the continuality between this book and the last is non existent.

SPOILER ALERT ********************

The twins were kept in rooms near Lucia in the last book, even though she wasn't allowed to see them, here they are kept in the basement. Events at the wedding are not the same as the last book, Romeo was shot in the hip but here he's shot in the chest, plus there was no paramedics, yet in this book an ambulance comes. The twins knew Lucia was pregnant, they were there when she did the test, not what happens in this book where it is revealed later. Add to that, the fact that in book 1 Marcello had to shoot Gianni because he was strangling Lucia after an having a collision with a bridge, here they have a shoot out in a country lane!
In short this book lacks character and plot development, plus as pointed out, it changes the original plot. I have to wonder how this dual author works.

This book brings us Marcello Cavetti and Chiara Bonifacio, both children of very powerful Mafia families. There is a large "misunderstanding" between these 2 families and Chiara and her sisters, along with her brothers are being held captive in the Cavetti's home. There is supposed to be a wedding between the 2 families to cross the blood of both families to make them extremely powerful. Marcello takes an immediate interest in Chiara and becomes infatuated with her. She is innocent, and Marcello tries to "teach" her new things. Feelings develop between Marcello and Chiara, however with her being a prisoner, Marcello has to make sure that no one sees them together. As the wedding between Chiara's sister and Marcello's brother approaches, they are let out of their prison and are granted permission to help with the wedding planning. I felt sorry for Marcello, as he really didn't fit into the family, but he did prove himself in the end. This is an amazing read and I highly recommend it. I did receive an arc for an honest review.

ARC received from author in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced in any way.

The title of this book is Twisted Marcello but really after reading it’s understood Marcello is conflicted and his feelings might be twisted up in knots for Chiara Bonifacio.

This is the story of controversy and power struggle between two mafia families the Cavettis and the Bonifacio’s. After their parents are killed the twins Allesandra and Chiara are captured and brought back to live as prisoners at the Cavettis estate.
As far as mafia settings go there are some twists in this book I didn’t see coming and all the characters are inter-connected ...
Siblings will be paired off in other upcoming books !

Chiara and Marcello don’t actually like each other initially but their feelings grown once they decide to put aside family issues.

This is a quick read with a HEA - enjoyed the story !!

Hard to believe that an author would do this...

I really enjoyed book 1, but as I began reading book 2, I realized something was off in a major way. Major details in book 2 were COMPLETELY different than in book 1. From where the parents were killed, that Gianni's body was missing to where the twins and brothers were being held captive. All different. If I never read book 1 it wouldn't have mattered, because it seems book 3 is more in line with book 2 than book 1. I didn't even finish this book, stopped at 47%. And I even noticed there's a 5th book... Gianni and Phillipa's story. I mean why would I want to read his tragedy of a story. He ended up with half his head shot off in book 1. But then again that probably didn't happen seeing how book 2 and what I peeked at of book 3 are nothing to do with book 1. I mean in book 1, Lucia constantly asked about the twins and her brothers. They spoke of the love they family felt for one another. This book only shows the love between the twins, barely mentioning Lucia, although they did ask about the brothers alot.

A very good surprise!!!

Twisted Marcello by Raven Scott it's the second installment following the Cavetti Family and their saga with the Bonifacios. This story happens at the same time as Ruthless Romeo, but featuring his brother Marcello and Lucia's sister and one of the twins, Chiara. I was happily surprised, since I really didn't care for the first book at all. This one, on the other hand, flows smooth and steady, it was thoroughsly executed, what made me absolutely love the MCs and way their feelings developed. It doesn't matter that it is a simple take on another point of view of the same circumstances, but it does matter the way it is presented to the reader! I was not sure I would be reading this second book, but I'm really glad I did and even Romeo warmed up to me! Can't wait to see what Alessandra and Savio will bring!

Mild Spoiler Alert

I love mafia romance books. And this series makes my feelings no different. The only complaints I do have is that the story lines don’t add up with the first book. Lucia’s pregnancy was different between Romeo’s book and Marcello’s along with what had happened with their brother and Lucia. The entire wedding scene was different as well. I love these stories themselves but it just aggravated me when these differences kept popping up. Also in both books Angelo said he was there when his son was killed but was he really? There are too many contradictions when it comes to his death. For instance they said in Marcello’s book that they didn’t have a body but in Romeo’s book they had a funeral for him. It just got very frustrating and confusing trying not to compare the two books. At times it felt like it was overshadowing the book itself. Just my opinion though 🤷‍♀️ Otherwise the book was a decent read

Twisted Marcello is the second book in this series by Raven Scott and Emma Vikes and it is a very good read. The drama between the Cavetti and Bonifacio families continues with very surprising results. This book is Chiara and Marcello’s story and even though I have to admit that it is a bit twisted I found the story to be quite interesting and it keeps you wanting to read more especially to see what happens to, not only Chiara and her sisters but, also the relationship building between Marcello and Chiara. I found their story to be compassionate and quite beautiful considering they both fell in love with each other willingly and were not brought together by lies and deceit. Well written and quite an enjoyable story by these two authors who I have no doubt I will read more of especially in this series.

This is the 2nd book in this amazing series and is Marcello and Chiara’s story. Marcello and Chiara are products from powerful mafia families, and due to a misunderstanding between the families Chiara, her sisters and her brothers are all being held captive by Marcello. The chemistry between these two is intense. No spoilers: this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a well written fast paced flawless dark story which is filled with drama, twists, suspense, emotions, passion, and love. I was completely captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I look forward to reading more from this dynamic duo of author’s who have done an outstanding job in penning this tale. I recommend for all.

This story shows the events from Ruthless Romeo but from Chiara and Marcello's point of view. The story was pretty good but some of the parts were completely different than they were in the first book. That aside, I really like Marcello and Chiara. Their romance was a little dark and a little twisted but they complemented each other nicely. The Bonifacio sisters seem to be able to bring out the best in the Cavetti men. Overall I enjoyed the book and can't wait to see what happens with Savio and Alessandra.

Twisted Marcello indeed!

Marcello is one of Angelo Cavetti's sons and as such he must do everything he is good because Angelo is the don of the Cavetti crime family. Since Romeo is the heir, Marcello just be a good soldier and two the line. When they take the daughters of the late Bonifacio crime family's don as prisoners he feels a kind of strange pull towards one of the twins named Chiara. Things between them were a little strange because when it comes to being with a woman, Marcello is a little twisted. This is a great read and I'd recommend it to all the dark mafia romance lovers out there.

**** I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review. ****

This series has ups and downs so far. Seems a bit rushed to get to certain parts. I can't imagine if someone killed my parents and brother that I would fall in love with those men. It is not a plausible scenario. I found the dynamics between Chiara and Marcello unrealistic...moving from bringing her a few meals a week to producing a vibrator that she, a virgin, would just accept and use so he could excite her all night.... the park scene was so unrealistic and to use it to prove she could be in control.....in daylight hours.... No... This does not work for me at all.

Not edited

The first book was good but somehow along the line the author forgot to have this book edited.
Two chapters was repeated or maybe she started with a new chapter and somehow overwrote it, dont know.
And then at the end whrn Marcello went after his brother and Lucia to save her she forgot to read the first book because in no they drove into the side of the railing on a bridge after shooting the driver, Marcello never spoke to Gianni he shot him in the back. In this book they are magically transported to a cabin in the woods and they have a whole conversation, oh he also took the body in book no one.
Nothing adds up.
So knocking off stars as I go

This is a great story. It is the basic story of the other book but told by Marcello. What he and the twins went through. The detail and imagery was outstanding. I liked Romeo but I really liked Marcello. He was different from his brother and that made it a new story that was interesting. It is always interesting to see a different POV, see how other people see things and even get other details. Great book cannot wait for more.

Twisted Marcello is the second mafia book between two mafia families, the Cavettis and Bonifacios. This is Marcello and Chiara's story and what a dark, twisted and great read it is. I loved getting to know Marcello and Chiara's characters more closely as well as seeing them come together as a couple. Bringing these two warring families together is thought to bring peace and power but it is not easy. I enjoyed this twisted story and look forward to more. Enjoy!

This is the second book of the mafia romance series by Raven Scott and Emma Vikes. This series follows the Cavetti Family and the BonifaciosI Family. I fell in love with Marcello and Chiarain. They both come from a dark and dangerous family but yet together they find love in all that darkness. The story is darkly romantic with enough suspense and twists and turns to keep me guessing, it drew me in from the beginning and kept me enthralled until the very last page.

This is the second book in the Cavettis and Bonifacios families saga which focuses on Marcello Cavettis, youngest brother, who helped kill the parents and brothers of Chiara Bonifacios who he imprisons, treats cruelly, and eventually marries. This well written and descriptive novel has complex characters and a very dark and an intense mafia storyline with captivity, drama, murder, violence, unexpected twists, and strong emotions.

This is the second book in this series.
Chiara is a twin and has been held captive by the Cavetti's when they killed her parents. She is supposed to be the stronger twin. When she finds out that her twin has been keeping secrets from her, she gets angry.
Marcello wants Chiara but for his own pleasure.
This is was a very interesting read and just kept turning the pages until finished.
Can't wait for the next book in this series.

Storyline Errors

This is supposed to be the second book in this series that's happening at the same time as the first book but none of the storyline matches. What happens at the wedding is not the same as in the first book and it's supposed to be happening at the same time as book 1. The story with the limo is not the same as the first book. It wrecked on a bridge and in the second book they're out in the woods none of it lines up as the same and it should be exactly the same as the first booked if these events are happening at the same time
