The Wall Clock: And Other Short Stories

Rate this book
With my collection of short stories, “The Wall Clock,” I hope to convey to American readers the soul of an Albanian living in America. I want my readers to experience the magical realities of life, love, and the American dream. America gave me the opportunity to learn more about the light and shadows of the spirit. This country, blessed by God, loosed my chains and inspired me to write these simple stories.I will die a happy man if my readers remember even one of my stories and share them with their friends. I have great respect for my translator, Carrie Hooper, who is a polyglot. Although she is blind, she read my stories with the eyes of her soul. It will make me happy if Miss Hooper’s translations touch the reader.
