Despite the explosion of NoSQL in recent years, SQL is still making its way back to become the universal interface for data analysis once again.
It is not really difficult to learn SQL, if you use the right guide to do it.  The primary objective where SQL was created was to give the possibility to common people to get interesting data from the database. Some information was presented in such a way to make sense and I had a few ‘aha’ moments. However, some sections of the book made no sense to me and it felt like the author didn’t take as much care to write it in a way to make sense.

As a whole, the Kindle edition that I read needs some serious editing. The typos and grammatical errors were very distracting for somebody who is not familiar with the subject matter. 2.5 stars
