Gia knew Isaac as her adopted sister's boyfreind. A boy with a bad reputation and who liked to tease her for her place of birth and race (sort of). She didn't like him. She spent as little time with him as possible. But then she was kidnapped, and Isaac right along with her. Thrown into an, at first, unknown situation, she was forced to depend on someone she hadn't ever thought she would have to, even more so when the unknown situation became clearer. They were taken by a cruel couple, a cruel couple who couldn't adopt or have children of their own. An insane, wicked couple who decided instead of going the way of surrogacy or find willing participants, and instead force two unwilling people to conceive and birth their children for them.
Well, I really wasn't going to make a statement, even though I found a great story, really. I'm Brazilian, and I don't read, understand, or write, in English, except for the translator. Of course, it becomes much more difficult to identify problems with writing skills. It is clear that, the two books of this author need some editions mainly when referring to temporal parts, and other things, however, really healthy for a good edition. But honestly, the stories, the ideas, the suffering, and the curiosity of what is going to happen, speaking of the two books I found and read, left me satisfied, I could not give a rating less than five, when it is resolved with a good edition, two books with spectacular stories. Sometimes, this motivation will only improve, which is a good thing I hope. Anyway, at the opportunity, read with your heart and an open mind and have fun.
Super dark in so many ways and obviously not for everyone, but I wanted to see how it played out only to be angry. It was as if the writer just stopped! There was no completion to the many strings within the storyline, no actual ending at all, it just seemed as if someone forgot to add the final 20 pages to the printer. Super Disappointing!
This book had me reading late into the night and then it end in a cliffhanger?! WHY?! This is the second book I have read from this author that has ended like this, although very different and interesting reading, it’s a shame the author decided to make the ending a cliffhanger.
Brilliantly written. Once I read the first chapter I couldn't stop. The story is so engaging and I was rooting for Gia and Isaac the entire time. Can't wait to read the next book in the series. I highly recommend.
There is very little about this story that gives hope. Even the ending has you wondering if they will get a break. But this is still a great story. Definitely worth 5 stars.
Why was this even published! Nothing good about this "book"....bad grammar, needs proofreading and editing, incomplete sentences, simplistic dialogue. The plot or storyline could have been interesting with a better writer.
Great storyline, but the grammatical mistakes are almost unforgivable. Sympathetic characters and heartless villains made pushing through the numerous mistakes with spelling, syntax, and misuse of vocabulary.
I love this book so much I was rereading because I read it before on Wattpad. The tears I had while reading this is crazy all of the authors books are so good I can’t wait for more books to come.
Not for those who are into HEA. I loved the raw emotions this book exudes. I simply couldn’t get enough. The story line is wild though but I promise , you won’t be able to put it down.
