What a phenomenally good book this is! I haven't seen anything that comes close to it in terms of readability, clarity and sheer wealth of information and advice for children. It does teach you about the basis - financial terms and what they mean, but it does so much more. It talks about pitfalls to be aware of, how advertisers make you think something is a better deal than it really is, how to decide if you REALLY want/need to buy something... DOSH should be on the school curriculum, because this kind of financial literacy is crucial for children. Illustrations throughout make this a fun and easy read - it's equally good pored over cover to cover or dipped into at any point. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Un libro sobre economía para niños (o adultos despistados). ¡Para comprender mejor cómo funciona el dinero y, por tanto, el mundo!
El libro se divide en seis (6) capítulos:
- En el primero te explica qué es el dinero, con una introducción histórica.
- En el segundo cómo se gana dinero: Aprovechando aquello que tenemos por ofrecer y que otros necesitan. (Saber, aprender y practicar).
- En el tercero te explica cómo gastarlo (con cabeza): Distinguiendo entre necesidad y deseo, creando tu propio presupuesto.
- En el cuarto cómo ahorrarlo: Y que para hacerlo no basta con dejarlo en el cajón de los calcetines...
- En el quinto cómo hacer que crezca: Aunque está pensado para niños, hace una muy buena introducción a la inversión y les anima a probar (con dinero ficticio) a seguir las acciones de empresas que les parezcan interesantes y ver su evolución.
- En el sexto te explica cómo donarlo: Donaciones voluntarias y lo difícil que es elegir qué causa apoyar. Impuestos, como "donaciones" al estado. De lo importante que es gastar, invertir y trabajar en empresas responsables. ¡Y que también podemos donar TIEMPO!
El libro es una INTRODUCCIÓN al dinero y la economía, nadie se va a hacer rico solo por leerlo...
¡Pero la única forma de ser feliz es no teniendo que preocuparte por si tienes o no dinero suficiente para vivir, y para eso es muy útil aprender economía cuanto antes!
Os lo recomiendo mucho, porque los conceptos están muy bien explicados con ejemplos sencillos y ¡monstruos de caramelos a los que les prestas caramelos y luego ellos te los tienen que devolver con intereses!
CONCLUSIÓN:
Son conceptos muy BÁSICOS [que ya conocía] y curiosidades, pero aún así lo he considerado muy interesante y recomendable para cualquiera. ¡Para niños o no tanto!

Fajna i treściwa książka, skierowana głównie dla młodzieży, jednak młodzi dorośli wciąż mogą się sporo dowiedzieć o zarządzaniu pieniędzmi, o czym nie mówią w szkole. Ogólnie nie ma lania wody i wszystko zawiera fajne objaśnienia (również ilustracje)

Pieniądze to nie wszystko, ale wszystko bez pieniędzy to... nic.
Z takiego założenia wyszła autorka książki "Forsa. Jak ją zarabiać, oszczędzać, wydawać, pomnażać i dawać innym", czyli Rashmi Sirdeshpande. Postanowiła ona przybliżyć nieco temat pieniądza młodszym czytelnikom i tak właśnie powstała ta pozycja, choć uważam że niektórym dorosłym również przydałaby się lektura tego tytułu.
Książka dzięki się na kilka części, a każda z nich podejmuje inny aspekt zarządzania forsą. Na początku poznajemy skróconą historię pieniądza oraz co to w ogóle jest. Następnie czytelnik dowiaduje się po kolei: jak ją zarabiać, jak wydawać, jak oszczędzać, pomnażać oraz jak dzielić się z innymi. Całość przedstawiona jest w lekki, zabawny sposób, a przy tym zawiera w sobie dużo przydatnych informacji. Cała książka składa się z licznych infografik oraz upstrzona jest dużą ilością obrazków, co pomoże młodzieży przyswoić wiedzę. Ponadto, tytuł ten liczy sobie zaledwie 160 stron, zatem dziecko nie powinno się nim znudzić.
"Forsa" prócz przekazywania informacji o pieniądzach, motywuje młodych ludzi do pracy oraz podsuwa im pomysły w jaki sposób mogą zacząć dorabiać sobie po lekcjach czy na wakacjach. A motywuje poprzez przedstawienie najmłodszych biznesmenów oraz tych najbogatszych, pokazują do czego można dojść dzięki ciężkiej pracy.
Uważam "Forsę" za naprawdę udaną książkę edukacyjną dla dzieci i młodzieży, którą czyta się po prostu dobrze i wiele można z niej wynieść. Polecam ją rodzicom wszystkich pociech, jeśli nie chcą by ich dzieci w przyszłości miały problem z pustym portfelem.

This book is a great to teach kids and maybe even help guide teens and adults too about how to spend, save, grow and use a bank for your money too as it includes tips for saving and interest as well as benefits of card's and saving up not just spending all the time.
From the history of how well known people made and traded various types of currency to buy and barter for things much like people on eBay that is now to get good deals and again save money.
Great handy book to reach youngsters how to be money wise in a world where card over cash is becoming the norm.

Fenomenalnie dobra pozycja! Nigdy nie spotkałam się z tak jasną i czytelną książką dla dzieci, która jest bogata w informacje. Uczy o podstawach - terminach finansowych i ich znaczeniu, ale nie tylko! Mówi o pułapkach, o których trzeba pamiętać, jak reklamodawcy i reklama sprawia, że myślisz że coś jest lepszą ofertą niż jest w rzeczywistości. Jak działa konsumpcjonizm.
„Forsa” powinna znajdować się w programie nauczania w szkołach. Umiejętności podane w tej pozycji mają kluczowe znaczenie dla dzieci. Ilustracje sprawiają że książka jest zabawna i łatwa do odczytania. Myślę, że spodoba się również niejednemu dorosłemu 💸

This brilliant book holds lots of important information and advice about how to engage with money in a healthy and proactive way, while still being light-hearted and fun! Rashmi Sirdeshpande's tone is just right and I loved how she always pointed to the bigger picture - it's not just about how you can get lots of sweets for yourself, but also about how we can use our money wisely so that we benefit everyone through our buying choices, our investments, and our giving. Thank you Rashmi for this compassionate book about money, but not centred on money.

Dosh - how to earn it, save it, spend it, grow it, give it - covering all aspects of the world of money. Full of useful information and advice that teens need before they enter the world of work, banks, student grants, etc. Written in accessible text that's broken up by illustrations & sub-headings. Fits into the National Curriculum and useful for financial education. Quite a few adults would also find this book interesting!

GOSH - I wish I'd had DOSH when I was a kid!! But it's never to late to be savvy about money, so here I am making my own vision board even though I am oooold! My kids are going to love this book and hopefully it will inspire them and reassure them in equal measure

I would rate this book 4 and a half stars and for 11-13 or 14 year olds. Contains 7 great chapters all about DOSH. You can learn things including ,what loan sharks are, and how you get paid interest to how to set up your own business.

Wat is geld, geld verdienen, geld uitgeven, geld sparen, geld laten groeien en geld weggeven. Hoe het werkt wordt in de boekje bedoeld voor kinderen heel helder en aantrekkelijk uitgelegd. Zo goed, dat ik dit boekje ook aan volwassenen zou willen aanraden. Complimenten voor de schrijver.
