What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas…
The moment Beckett O’Neill retires from professional sports, he swears off schedules and commitments. His new gig has him hopping from one exotic location to the next. No strings, no responsibilities. Nothing that will tie him down.
Until he runs into her, the woman who stole his heart for a night in Vegas...and finds out he has a five-year-old daughter. One who believes wholeheartedly she’s a fairy. What’s he supposed to do with that? It’s not like he even knows what being a good father looks like.
When life gives you lemons…make chocolate. As a single mom, Coco Cavanaugh manages to find a happy balance raising her little girl, while running her chocolate shop. It’s a good, safe life. One she’s proud of.
When fate brings them together again, Coco remembers exactly why she fell into bed with the irresistible Beckett. But she’s not that free-spirited girl anymore. And his jet-setting lifestyle doesn’t fit with raising a child.
But there’s no force more powerful in the world than love—and Beckett can’t help but fall for the Cavanaugh girls.
They’re everything he never wanted. He’s everything she didn’t think they needed.
Award-winning author Erika Kelly writes sexy, passionate, and emotional contemporary romance. Married to the love of her life and raising four children, she lives in the southwest, drinks a lot of tea, and is always waiting for her cats to get off her keyboard.
This book is awesome! I could not put it down! I absolutely adorable Beckett and Coco. This book’s characters have unique jobs, and you can clearly see their world through the author’s writing. It’s a great entertaining read!
Love a ONS pregnancy trope. Sadly the writing let this one down . It was all filler of the hero contemplating how he couldn’t accommodate a surprise daughter into his life as he needed to travel for work, heroines internal dialogue going over and over how she couldn’t love him because he would leave but then sleeping with him.
When he first found out he had a fiancé he had never proposed to 🙄 what kind of an idiot allows that but she was really horrible to coco on learning about their daughter. He just stood there and allowed it. Didn’t exactly win any stars for that.
Erika Kelly did a fantastic job with Can't Help Falling In Love. This was a great mix of second chance, surprise baby, and small town romance. It was so well written from the first meeting in Vegas to the jump ahead six years later.
The book was really hard to put down once I got started. One of the things I really liked about the story was Coco's character. I love a strong, loving single mom in a book in general, but she was really well written. From the way she communicated with her daughter and the way she was always thinking of what was best for her to her views on "her adventure".
Beckett was also really likable. He had a lot of growth and self realizations to go through but it was an important part of the book.
Central characters can create an immediate connection or condemnation...
Beckett created whiplash with his rollercoaster emotions and actions. His snowboarding retirement led to developing an extreme adventure travel app for Xtreme Adventures. He travels around the world meeting tour guides and venue owners, personally testing the experiences, then posting links, videos, and reviews.
I was uninterested in Beckett’s girlfriend, Willow, a social media climber, thriving on being the centre of attention convinced the world is interested in their superficial lives, including her self-proclamation as his fiancée despite his never having proposed. She’s determined to deny and distance themselves from Posie and her existence.
When Willow and Beckett met, she was an established Splashagram influencer, but once they’d gotten together, her audience had exploded. Now, she travelled from one exotic location to another, all expenses paid by the venues looking for exposure, but she also occasionally joined him on his trips. They made a good team. She received a private message, they got an incredible wedding offer. “What wedding?” “Ours.” Hence a wedding is conjured. A billionaire family turned a ghost town—Calamity—into a tourist attraction. He’d heard of Calamity, of course—most extreme athletes knew about it—but not the resort.
“They’re still building the place to start a destination wedding business. And they want us to launch it. All expenses paid.” “Launch it how?” He had no idea what any of this had to do with them. “What do they want us to do?” “Oh, my God. We’re getting married in Owl Hoot. All expenses paid. But the craziest part is that you used to know these guys, so instead of a chapel, we’re doing it on a glacier.”
“I guess, because I showed us kissing, they got the idea we were making a statement”. “I really wish you hadn’t done that.” “Well, all that led to a private message from the wedding planner”.
The place looked interesting, for sure, but he wasn’t getting married. (Their wedding is a marketing event).
“There’s no easy way to say this,” Coco said. “I’ve got a five-year-old daughter, Posie, and…she’s yours.” “That is not only a ridiculous thing to say, but it’s dangerous.” Willow slapped her phone on the table and pointed a finger at Coco. “I don’t want you to say that again—to us or to anyone—until he takes a paternity test.” (He sits quietly unassuming and allows the twenty-two year old girlfriend to railroad Coco). “Beckett is her father. I’m more than happy to get a test done, but once you see her, you won’t question it. That said, let me be very clear. I’m telling you because it’s the right thing to do, not because I expect you to be involved in her life in any way”. (She’s not interested in sharing her, simply informing him that he’s a father).
Coco’s father is Tyler Cavanaugh, one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play football. His gaze fell to the photo of the retired ball player, Posie on his lap, both of them laughing as they raced down. Who knew that he’d been hanging out with Joss Montalbano and Tyler Cavanaugh’s daughter.
You guys had a one-night-stand,” Willow said. “Let’s be real. It could be anybody’s.” “I’m not looking for anything from you. I have a very strong support system here, and my business is doing well. I don’t need anything.” “We’re leaving for Thailand tomorrow, so we need to get it done today. We can deal with the situation when we get back.” “My daughter is not a situation. I’ve done what I needed to do, and now I’m going to go. You know where my shop is, so after you pick up a test at the pharmacy, you can drop it off with me. Unless, of course, you’d like to swab her yourself to make sure I’m not pulling a fast one on you.” “Sensitive much? Like we’re just supposed to jump in and start writing child support checks? Come on.” “Coco. Wait.” Slowly, she turned, taking in a steadying breath. “What?” “I’m sorry.” “I’m sorry, too. I know this is hard for you, I do. But in all the times I imagined finding you, I was never accused of trying to trap you”.
Coco to her parents “He doesn’t have roots nor does he want them. “No one’s taking Posie anywhere. We’ll talk to Sam in the morning and I’ll also get Bradley to do a thorough background check.” Her parents, both former celebrities, not only ran a philanthropic foundation but several businesses. They had a whole team—legal and security—working for them. Every time she thought she was alone, her family showed up and reminded her she had an army behind her. “We need a paternity test, too,” her dad said. (An advanced procedure performed by a medical professional). Coco has no expectations of Beckett beyond his not hurting Posie.
Shallow Willow is relentless in pursuit of Beckett’s paternity test. The same people creating a media event based on a lie. They’re getting married not because he proposed but because Willow posted a picture of them kissing, and her followers took it as an announcement and it became a media event. It wasn’t. He’s never even thought about proposing. Even while focused on the athletes bouncing and flipping, Beckett could feel Brodie watching him. Because he hadn’t taken the idea of marriage seriously. He’d viewed it as a means to draw attention to his business. He never wanted to get married and neither of the two, wants children.
Willow and Beckett are single minded in their focus to promote their careers. Neither are interested in children.
“She wasted no time putting that page up.” “You act like she’s been waiting for me to find her, like she’s got a list of demands.” He reached for Willow’s hand, understanding she had to feel threatened, too. “We’re going to get through this. It’s just going to take some time to figure things out.” (Willow appeared to assume the lead in their relationship).
His thoughts and feelings were selfish. He was now, always and forever, a father. Which meant he had to figure out how to fit her into his world. (No—he unequivocally has to figure out, fitting into her world, not the other way around).
Coco was twenty-one, pregnant and having to start a life with a new business and new baby. He had six years being blissfully unaware of fatherhood living his life. Coco was a mum, daughter, sister and business owner. She didn’t need anything from him, but that didn’t absolve him of obligation. “I’m leaving tomorrow. I’ve had this trip on the books for months, so I can’t miss it.” “Of course. I didn’t ask you to stay”.
His mother’s abandonment impacted him, because of her, he placed a greater value on the next big adventure at the expense of personal relationships. When he finally sees his mother after many years, he realises he’s been living her life, her pictures on her wall aren’t of family but of her holidays.
A year ago, he’d lived only for himself, now, he has no greater purpose than his three girls, Coco, Posie and Violet.
Posie stole the spotlight being aghast that Beckett might add quinoa to her ice cream.

This story started off promising. Then after the first few chapters it’s like a whole new author takes over. I can tell you that this book is about whether he will stay and be a father, whether they are hot for each other and/ or the resentments to each of their families. Put it on repeat and there’s your playlist for this book. Repetition non stop and there was no spark beyond the first few chapters. It felt forced. I quit at 63%!
✦Release Blitz & Review: CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE by Erika Kelly https://wp.me/p3d0RZ-bvk Publication Date: June 11, 2020 Genre: Contemporary Romance Reviewed by: Reading in Pajamas/ Cori Rated 4.5 Stars
I loved this book! Erika Kelly is on my must read list because she never disappoints me. CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE is the sixth book in Erika Kelly’s Calamity Falls Series. The Calamity Falls was previously called the Bad Boyfriend Series and some of the books in this series have new titles in case you have been following The Bad Boyfriend Series and see new books titles out there, they are the same books. I love the entire series and recommend them. Each book in the series can be read as a stand-alone.
CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE had everything I look for in a great romance with passion, a swoony hero, a great heroine I could cheer for and some humor. I couldn’t put it down and I didn’t want it to end. Erika Kelly always gives me a great love story with all the feels. I highly recommend this new release or any of her previous books.

Y'all I adored this book. The heroine is a chocolatier, and the entire book is TOO SWEET for words! I seriously wanted to wrap Coco, Posie, and Beckett up in a cuddly blanket and bring them home with me. The story is full of in depth characters that are the signature of Erika Kelly's style. Her characters will absolutely work their way into your heart and stay there.
A lot of telling. No showing. No chemistry. No plot beyond internal wrestling with the realisation of having a child. No momentum. No characterisation. Just telling.
I was enjoying this book at first but then Beckett's selfishness and flipflopping on whether he wanted to be a father started to really irritate me. DNF at 60%.
Contrary to most reviews, at least from my friends and followings, which weren’t really positive, I found myself liking this and could not put it down, I think this book just pulled me out of my slump.
Anyway, the writing was nice, tbh I did not expect it to be so easy to read and follow. The plot was a bit predictable, at least to me since I’ve read so many of this kind before, steady and light with little dramas, yet it held my attention from the first few lines to the very end. Maybe this is the type of book/ trope that suits me the most? My cuppa tea? Don’t really know but one thing I know for sure is that I enjoyed it a lot.
The chemistry between our 2 mains was nice. They were complete opposites yet fit so well with each other. I love how they both stepped up and tried their best for their situation, how they respected each other, how they actually communicated and faced their problems head on instead of just assuming the worst, well ngl they did but their actions later made it all up, so all was well. Their conversations were one of many things I liked about them btw.
Moreover, I love love love our fairy princess Posie, she was so dang cute and definitely the highlight of this book.
However, I have to agree with other reviews that this book lacked a climax, lacked that tiny little thing that could have made it better and more complete.
While their biggest and final conflict was pretty solid, it unfortunately went by too fast for my liking. The mains were just too nice ugh, I blamed their communication for this, which was #couplegoals btw, but I wish that it (the conflict and after the conflict) happened slower, for both parties to really felt it, does that make sense lol?
Overall, this was a nice and quick read, I really enjoyed it. This was my first book of this author and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Until next time!
While this book is the sixth in a series, it’s easily read as a standalone. A bachelorette party in Vegas leads to a one-night stand. The next morning one character wakes up in bed alone. Only first names were exchanged the night before and there's no message of thanks or see ya later. Predictable in that I’m sure you can guess that there will be a surprise package arriving 9 months later. Play it forward six years and by total accident “daddy” appears out of nowhere in Wyoming with a fiancée on his arm --unaware of who he’s about to encounter face-to-face. So, there’s no big shocker in a trope that’s been done many times over.
But others haven’t included Posie, an adorable five-year- old fairy – wings and all! That little smarty kept me wrapped around her finger, entertained and charmed throughout this story. She comes to life on the pages adding so much laughter, joy and endearment.
Our lead characters are Coco, a devoted mom and chocolatier and Beckett, an extreme sports gold medalist with a complicated past. Both are flawed characters with baggage. The author has done a great job developing interesting and dynamic characters in both. I felt like Coco might have been a little too accommodating in regard to Beckett's fatherly duties to his daughter. I was more than pleased that Beckett took his responsibilities seriously and was more than willing to help and support his child. There was no big battle.
A sparkling delight with just the right amount of sizzle, love, laughter and happily-ever-after.
Can't Help Falling In Love (Calamity Falls #5) by: Erika Kelly
Can't Help Falling In Love by Erika KellyMy rating: 5 of 5 starsSomething about an Erika Kelly romance gives me the warm and fuzzies in my heart. Even through the inevitable heartache, I never lose that sense of hope I feel inside. From second chances to bad romances, there is always a sense of beauty in the recklessness. Coco and Beckett keep up the heart tingles with a love story that will leave you breathless. One night changes everything for two strangers looking to have a bit of fun. When the morning comes, the surprises roll in. Life moves on and heartbreak awaits, but can one unexpected twist help reunite these strangers in the night? Temptation packs a sweetly, addictive punch.
Wow all the feels with this one. This was my first Erika Kelly Book and it certainly will not be my last. Her writing style puts you right into the characters heads. Her ability to describe a head tilt or nod puts you right into the action. This is a bit of a slow burn romance. Beckett and Coco have some major trust issues. They have a fear of abandonment and trust. Their life experiences have taught them if they relied or loved someone, they are always left alone or down. Their situation is a tough one. It’s a life change neither of them were ready for but knew they would both need to figure out together.
What happened in Vegas didn’t exactly stay in Vegas. After one hot night in Vegas Coco walked out on Beckett. Normal run off the mill Vegas wild night action. No biggie. It would be if you didn’t run into said one-night stand in a chance encounter six years later. And find out that you have a five year old adorable daughter. Knowing that your new daughter did not fit into your wild extreme adventure life style. Beckett had a lot to work out. To prioritize. He was faced with lots of decisions and feelings he needed to sort through. He wanted to be a good father and still keep his business. This was a tough decision. Not one that ever wanted a family of his own, his world was flipped. He lucked out with Coco. She was a kind understanding woman who did right by him. Never kept him from their daughter (Posie) She openly shared her. She was a good kind woman. Strong to a fault but a lovable relatable character.
I loved the flow of the story. It wasn’t instalove or instant gratification. It unfolded in a careful way allowing the reader to learn and bond with every character. Growing with them through this difficult time. But it was done without being too angsty. Something that needed very much right now. Loved every page of this story.
She was wrote in a way that made you want to get to know more about the side characters. I see a binge read of this series happening in my future. And I can’t wait!
Reading this book gave me all the feels! The story is full of unconditional love, overcoming fears and the sense of family every person should have in his life! This was my first book from the author and I really enjoyed it! I feel like I need more of “Calamity Falls” in my life!!
Beckett and Coco first met in Vegas 6 years ago. The chemistry between them was undeniable and they spent a night together. Unbeknown to them that night they created something special! The next morning Coco left, and they’ve never seen each other again until today. Coco has her life together being a business owner and a full-time single mom to an adorable little girl, Posie. They only thing she has to remember Beckett is her little girl, until he shows up at Calamity Falls for a business arrangement. Feeling guilty about keeping Posie a secret she tells him that he has a daughter.
The most interesting thing for me was seeing Beckett getting to be the best dad. Although demons of his past keep him scared, from the time he sees Posie he can’t help but fall in love with her. He never thought he’ll have a daughter, especially one who thinks she’s a fairy! His feelings and fears are apparent, as well as the still palpable attraction between him and Coco. I really loved these three and I was so happy to see them finally become a family!!!!
I loved this second chance romance. I was immediately pulled into the story and had trouble putting it down.
Beckett and Coco met one crazy night in Vegas. After spending one night together, they go their separate ways until 6 years later, Beckett winds up in Coco’s hometown. Coco is shocked to see him especially since she had had his daughter, but since they didn’t exchange full names she was unable to locate him to tell him. The chemistry between these two has never died. Will they be able to overcome all of their issues to become a family?
Coco was a wonderful character. She was strong and independent and had built a successful business while raising her daughter. She does have trouble expressing her emotions and thinks others feelings are more important than her own. Posie was a breath of fresh air. She was so cute and I don’t know how you couldn’t fall in love with her.
Beckett was a fun loving guy who had plans to never have children and to always live out of a suitcase. He doesn’t know how to react to finding out he has a daughter and he struggles with the role he will have in Posie’s life. Watching Beckett’s character growth was fascinating. He has to decide what is most important in his life—family or his job.
Beckett and Coco’s chemistry was hot and they instantly connected both in Vegas and once they reconnected. You just knew they were perfect for each. They both tried to be as open as possible with each and build a deep friendship in addition to their physical attraction.
Can’t Help Falling in Love charmed me and I loved every minute of it. I’m excited for the next story in this series.
I adored this latest offering in the Calamity Falls from Erika Kelly. Can’t Help Falling In Love is charmingly sweet, heartwarming, and fun featuring endearing, likeable characters and an engaging story. It had everything I look for in a great romance; passion, a swoony hero, and a great heroine. I couldn’t put it down and I didn’t want it to end. Erika Kelly never fails to give me a great love story with all the feels.
Coco and Beckett’s story was a great mix of second chance, surprise baby, and small town romance. It was so well written from the first meeting in Las Vegas to the jump ahead six years later. The connection between them was apparent from the very start, and the slow burn of their relationship development kept me on the edge of my seat, and watching the two of them give into their feelings for one another was sexy and swoon worthy. It took me not long at all to become totally invested in the HEA that this duo so richly deserved.
Can’t Help Falling in Love is another great addition to this series. It completely charmed me and I loved every bit of it. I’m excited for the next story in this series.
This was such a delightful read and such a breath of fresh air. There was no melodramatics in this one. Just two people who tried to live in and rationalise the world around them. Did they make mistakes, sure. But they were always understandable and driven by something the author had expertly created. These figures are full and real. You can empathise with them all, even when you know they're acting crazy. The little girl is beautifully written and an absolute triumph. This book is so real it could be a documentary. It's breathtaking how the author has managed to handle all these people's lives and give real structure to their dynamics. I'm so sick of reading characters who act out, just to bring drama to a story, this book didn't do that, it literally flowed as though the author was living it. And it still maintained my interest because life is never simple, but love is certainly worth fighting for.
Can’t Help Falling in Love is the fifth book in the ‘Calamity Falls’ series by Erika Kelly. It’s a sweet, second chance romance with an adorable little girl who steals the heart of everyone she meets. Coco Cavanaugh met Becks O’Neill in Vegas six years ago. They had a fantastic one night stand and her young daughter is the result. Becks never knew anything about the little girl as they never exchanged names or numbers. Coco has trust issues, and she’s not alone. Beckett does too, and he’s in a relationship. Finding out he’s a father is a shock, to say the least. But, that chemistry they shared six years ago hasn’t died and the more time they spend together the stronger the attraction gets. Can they make a go of it for real? This was quite an engrossing story and I was soon caught up in it all. Beckett was a dreamy, hot guy, and Coco, the strong independent woman he needed all along. They were just perfect together. Add in charming, precocious Posey and it’s just simply icing on the cake.
A one night stand leaves Coco with much more then she thought she would get from Beckett and now 6 years later she is taken back when she sees him again and now has to explain he has a daughter he doesn’t know about about. Kids have never been in Beckett’s plan but now that he knows he’s a dad everything’s changing in his life. These two both had there issues separately and together but they had a very strong connection. Enjoyable read
This was an ok book for me. One night in Vegas ends up with a surprise. Not knowing how to reach the one that gave you the surprise. 6 years later he walks into your chocolate business wanting to order chocolate cake for his upcoming wedding. Now it's your turn to let him know about his surprise.
Can’t Help Falling in Love by Erika Kelly my goodness what a charming story. This is number five in the Calamity Falls series but they can be read as stand-alone, I know this as I haven’t read any of the others and didn’t feel like I was missing anything when I was reading. Coco Cavanaugh and Beckett O’Neill will just warm you to the bottom of your heart, the each have a diffent struggle and this author manages to make you feel their pain, know how they struggle and the issues they need to face, it also makes you have the warmth when they finally realise that they can help each other, and the darkness when they realise that may not be enough. What is a life plan, other than something to follow at your will, maybe if these two realise that life will be more rainbows and fairies. I will admit all the way through this story I was craving chocolate, creamy smooth chocolate and I have to admit that I would love me some Elizabeth Taylor, rich and tasty. I will be picking up the rest of this series as Calamity just sounds like my type of place.
5 heartfelt stars. This is one of those books that you can’t help falling in love with. I enjoyed every minute reading it. Can’t wait for the next one.
A small-town love romance with a surprise baby subplot. I really liked the evolution of Beckett and Coco's relationship. My only problems were Willow and Posie's attitudes that I found unbearable.
The H is a selfish prig. Don’t force yourself into the daily life of a child you’re not sure you’re even going to stick around for. The Willow character was ridiculous and no more than a speed bump in the storyline. I made it to 60% but I’m done. I don’t care a bit about what happens to any of them, other than the dog.
One more point; stop picking cover models that don’t match the description of your characters, in this case it’s the H.
CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE is the fifth instalment in Erika Kelly’s contemporary, adult CALAMITY FALLS erotic romance series focusing on the people of Calamity Falls, Wyoming . This is chocolatier Colette ‘Coco’ Cavanaugh, and extreme sports athlete Beckett ‘Beck’ O’Neill’s story line. CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Coco and Beck) CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE follows the building relationship between twenty-seven year old, chocolatier Colette ‘Coco’ Cavanaugh, and extreme sports athlete Beckett ‘Beck’ O’Neill. Six years earlier, Coco was in Las Vegas, attending a concert for her rock star sister but a one-night stand left Coco pregnant and alone in Europe where she would work with a master chocolatier, starting our heroine on an adventure of a lifetime. Fast forward to present day, wherein Coco Cavanaugh has been asked to make the chocolate candies for an upcoming celebrity wedding at the Owl Hoot Resort and Spa but Coco never expected to come face to face with the man who had fathered her child. Enter Beckett ‘Beck’ O’Neill, the celebrity groom, and the man with whom Coco will fall in love. What ensues is the building friendship, relationship and romance between Coco and Beck, and the potential fall-out as Beck’s lifestyle and business are about to pull our hero back out of Coco and their daughter’s life.
Coco Cavanaugh never expected to ever find Posie’s father, a one-night stand wherein Coco ghosted the next morning. Never knowing Beck’s name or his business, Coco struggled to locate a man who was more of a stranger, than anything else but Coco never intended to keep Posie’s existence a secret, and with Beck’s reappearance, Coco struggles with introducing Beck to a five year old child, let alone introducing Beck as the child’s father. Beck’s lifestyle on the road did not make for a father who would remain in Posie’s life for very long.
Beck O’Neill and his business partners were doing well in the world of extreme sports and social media influencers, so much so that Beck’s girlfriend intended to make their relationship a focus of the business but Beck struggled with the idea of settling down, and in no way did Beck every want to start a family, let alone make a life-time commitment to a woman he didn’t love.
The relationship between Beck and Coco is one of immediate attraction; a palpable sexual hunger that ended with Coco’s disappearance the morning after. Six years would pass before out couple were reunited, five years of a little girl’s life that Beck would never have wanted to miss. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate and intense, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Coco and Beck’s daughter Posie; Coco’s parents, Tyler and Joss, her rock star sister Gigi, executive chef Lulu; as well as the Bowie brothers (Fin, Will, and Gray Bowie) who own and operate Owl Hoot Resort and Spa.
CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE is a story of family, friendship, relationships and love; a story of secrets and revelations; of heart break and acceptance. The premise is emotional and imaginative ; the romance is spicy and flirty; the characters are inspiring and sassy.
I adored Erika Kelly's "Can't Help Falling in Love," a sweet, heartwarming, and fun story featuring endearing, well-developed characters and an engaging plot. The connection between main characters Coco and Beckett was apparent from the start, and the slow burn of their relationship development kept me on the edge of my seat, just waiting for them to finally give into their feelings. Their little daughter, Posie, was also a highlight of the story. I particularly loved her obsession with fairies and the sweet relationship she and Beckett established as they got to know one another.
I really admired Coco's bravery, independence, and resilience. It would have been so easy for her to keep Posie a secret from Beckett because of her fear that he would try to fight her for joint custody, but instead, she did what she thought was best for her daughter and invited Beckett to be a part of her life. Beyond that, Coco learned an entirely new career in a different country while preparing to become a single mother, and then came home and started a new business while caring for a newborn at the same time. It was truly amazing how much Coco managed to accomplish on her own, and I loved that Beckett saw how exceptional she was even though her family sometimes overlooked her successes.
Beckett was a great guy and it was clear that he wanted to do the right thing, but his struggle to find a place in Coco and Posie's life was completely understandable. In addition to overcoming his childhood baggage, which would have been a big hurdle for anyone, there was the fact that his career was based on travel and having new, extreme adventures. I'm sure it was terrifying for him to have to figure out a new plan, especially since that plan affected not just him but also his business partners, Coco, and Posie. It wasn't easy, but he did manage to find a solution that worked for everyone, and seeing him finally have a chance to put down roots with his family was lovely.
Overall, I highly recommend "Can't Help Falling in Love" for all fans of contemporary romance. I will definitely be reading the rest of the books in this series as soon as I find the time!

Coco and Beckett meet in Las Vegas on a night where Coco conceals her sadness for the abandonment of her boyfriend, left her without saying a word and has left her and the project they had in common throw away, but Beckett is capable of see that her smile is not true and offers to spend some time with him. They spend the night doing all kind of things and Beckett makes Coco smile for real and forget her broken heart. They end up spending the night together and it’s the best sex of their lives, but in the morning Coco leaves without saying a word. 6 years later Beckett has launched an extreme adventure app and his girlfriend Willow is becoming more famous on social media, so Willow will offer to celebrate her wedding at a resort run by the Bowie brothers(famous snowboarders who are friends of Beckett) and make their wedding the event of the season. Willow convinces Beckett, bc he has never wanted to marry or have children, since his lifestyle ( he spends 300 days per year traveling) is the most important thing for him. When they both travel to Calamity to meet the wedding planner and the woman who is going to make the chocolate in the swag bags, Beckett meets Coco again. Coco panics since what is the best way to tell a man that he has a 5 year old daughter? When Beckett learns of Posie’s existence, his first reaction is panicking, but he still asks Coco for a Chance to meet her. One time is enough for Beckett to decide to skip his date in Thailand, so he sends Willow to cover for him, while he spends more time with his daughter. In the end he decides to break up with Willow since she doesn’t want children either and he spend the summer with Coco and Posie. He ends up falling in love with Posie and Coco, but his professional obligations, in addition to his fears and insecurities, will make him flee again to his old life, but a single encounter with his mother makes him realize what he does not want in life and returns to see if it is not too late. It’s a very funny story, Posie and her obsession with fairies, and the sweet and strong Coco, and the vulnerable side of Beckett make it almost impossible not to fall in love with them.
