The Tracker is a new story from bestselling author Saxon Andrew. In the distant future humanity has spread out into the galaxy colonizing tens of thousands of planets. Over the hundred thousand years the galaxy was colonized, humans changed physically as they evolved to live on the planets they chose to colonize. The galaxy is at peace with a galactic government called the Unity uniting all the thousands of human planets into one political entity. The peace is an uneasy one at best between the Unity and the alien civilizations that share the Milky Way with it, and war has been avoided for more than three thousand years. Zee Rowe is known in secret circles as the Tracker. No one can match his skills at finding missing people or lost objects. He is approached to find a Princess that has gone missing from the Cradle Civilization. His mission is to find her and return her safely to the Queen. It initially seemed like a simple enough task, but it didn’t take long for the mission to blow up in his face. Others are also searching for the missing Princess and are determined to make sure she never returns to the Cradle. If they succeed in removing the Princess, then the three-thousand-year peace will be in great jeopardy and a galactic war will be inevitable. The extinction of mankind is a real possibility if that war breaks out. The twists and turns that happen in the Tracker will keep you turning pages to see what’s going to happen next. Saxon Andrew has written a real thriller and will hold your attention until the last page.

I’m not sure who the targeted reader is for this book, but it certainly is not adults who read lots of sci-fi books. Quite possibly the story would be fine for pre-teens? The storyline is juvenile and the plot vacillates between obvious or suddenly on a different tangent. There is no character development to speak of, things and people just “are what they are.” Lots of grammatical and punctuation errors, none of which would have made it past decent editing. Read this is you like YA themes and are always willing to ignore punctuation and grammar errors.
It's never a problem choosing an appropriate rating for a great story. Certainly different from your other series, but not lacking in adventure, action and excitement. There certainly was plenty of that. I'm not one to go into great detail about this and that about the storyline. I feel that upon recommendation you should get the book and read it. You won't be disappointed.
I love this story but it is a little rough around the edges. Quite a bit of punctuation is missing and our main character's backstory is data dumped as a series of sequential flashbacks/memories. There was also a little too much description at the beginning and very little after that. Dear author, please put in the time and/or recruit someone to help polish this story. It is definitely worth giving a shine.
It was a fun book to read. It started out building the character rather nicely and led into bigger and better escapades. I really enjoyed the change in the sci-fi theme and I think that is what kept me interested for so long.
Great book and something that I would definitely recommend to someone looking for a light read.
This was a quick read. Something in the description, previous review, or just looking for a new book. I enjoyed the fast pace, something was always happening. It was interesting enough that I just kept going back to it. Appears that this is a stand alone but I could see where a series could happen. Just hoping!6
Some authors have a genius for getting you hooked right away. Andrew has that ability. While I have never been that excited about political or, in this case, royal machinations, the action surrounding the Royals carried the story. Some very interesting new "science" (fictional) is introduced. Good show!
I have read around 15 of mister Andrew's books and really enjoyed them and looking forward to reading more. He has a great imagination and I love it that his characters are moral, honest and just Without any foul language and heavy sex scenes. I will recommend his books to my grandchildren.
You know Saxon always writes a good book always entertaining interesting.if you have never read a saxon Andrew book, this is a good one to pick up and start reading his books are always enjoyable he is great storyteller.
The book is a little light at the beginning, while the main character and his situation are being explained. Stick with it though. It gets involved and entertaining as it unfolds.
It is such fun to discover a new series from a favorite author. I love the moral compass of Zee Rowe. Such a straight arrow in a crooked universe. I didn’t know there were so many series. I might have to retire sooner so I have time to keep up with all my reading.
