Nova lives in a post apocalyptic zombie infested world. If you are rich you are protected under domes but she is not so its everyone for themselves. Nova however does just well for herself. She meets Drake who is basically running from himself and the destiny he has been cursed with. He knows he cant get close to her but he cannot make himself stay away. As they get closer and the chemistry is off the charts will the worst happen and his nightmare come true. This is such a fun steamy read I am not usually not into post apocalyptic stuff but I took a chance and it was worth it. This is my first book by this author and it does end in a little bit of a cliffhanger. However its not one that makes you want to throw you kindle. I plan on picking up the next part of Drake and Novas story.

I love this book!
First I would totally suggest you read Valkyrie, the prequel to this series, before starting. It sets you up with just the right amount of information and gets you sucked right in.
This book tells the first part of Nova and Drakes story. Nova is feisty and independent, and has made it just fine in this post zombie apocalypse of a world. Drake is a strong broody loner, doing whatever it takes to avoid his supposed destiny. When they meet, both of them get what they least expect. Prepare yourself for lots of steam and suspense. Lux knows just how to keep you wanting more! I’m so excited for the rest of the series. Happy Reading!

I never read anything like this story before. It has elements of mythology and Atlantis in a post-apocalyptic world. Our main guy and our main gal were thrown together by fate or by chance in what turned out to be a daring adventure. On top of all that, Lux was able to put feelings of longing and steaminess into the plot too.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Hotter than Hades

I don’t even know where to start, this book starts with intensity and only getting hotter from there. The action, the sex, the unyielding connections... damn! It’s all ridiculously amazing and the storyline makes you eager for more! Great read!

This is an amazing post-apocalyptic, dystopian, paranormal romance. I was hooked from the beginning. You will fall in love with Nova and Drake. This book is hot, full of steam, and intrigue that will leave you wanting more.

Highly recommend this book!

I am not normally a post apocalyptic genre type person but since I love this author already I figured I would give it a shot. (Dont worry no big spoilers).

From about midway through the 1st chapter I was intrigued & finally hooked in chapter 2. I couldn't put it down! It's not a typical post apocalyptic story which is perfect for me. I definitely cant wait until the next one!
