In this third installment of the Pelican Beach series, Payton and Cole are back, and they're ready to commence their union. It sounds easy enough, but will life circumstances keep them apart?
The theme of new beginnings continues as Rebecca and Ethan prepare to welcome their firstborn. However, these two have a lot more to figure out besides navigating parenthood. With the clock winding down before the baby's arrival, will they decide to make things official by getting married?
Lastly, we can't forget about Cole's mother, Alice. She spent many years looking after the family. She's been the perfect grandmother, and supportive when Cole needed her most. But it's been a long time since she's had someone to call her own. Will she continue her life's journey as a single woman? Or perhaps find herself in the middle of a love triangle?
The Matthews are back, and they're sure to take you on a journey. You might find yourself crying, laughing, or ready to give a character a piece of your mind. Either way, pull up a beach chair and get ready to be entangled in A Pelican Beach Affair.
I cannot give this one 5 stars like I did the first 2 in the series because of the glaring discrepancy between book 2 and book 3. In book 2, at the end it states it is January and Rebecca just finds out she is 8 WEEKS pregnant. In book 3, in the first chapter it is February (of the same year) and the sister is now 2 days past her due date! Maybe the books were written a year or so apart and the author forgot, but I just found the series and am reading them in order so this really stuck out to me.
A perfect beach read!!!! New beginnings for Rebecca and Ethan as they prepare for their first born. There has been a lot more to figure out besides parenthood with the clock winding down before the babies' arrival will they decide to make things official by getting married. We cannot forget about Cole's mother Alice She has spent many years looking after the family. But it has been a long time since she has someone to call her own. Will she continue her life's journey as a single woman??? Any way pull up your beach chair and get ready to be entangled in A Pelican Beach Affair. A great book that I could not put down!!!!
Loved this book in the continuation of the series. It is great to see where Cole and Payton are going with their relationship. This book also focused on Payton’s sister Rebecca and her husband and the start of their family. What I also loved about this book was the story line following Alice, Cole’s mother and her two suitors. I couldn’t put the book down!
I enjoy reading these books! I am a romantic at heart and when I see people finding live and living happy ever after it make me wants to read more series about their families and how there lives will be!
This book was by far, the best in the series! It had twists that the others didn't. I very much enjoy all the characters of Pelican Beach. The author does a beautiful job of telling their stories without getting lost in them. It's a 5 star book for me!
I was so happy that Payton and Cole finally got past all their interferences (Lexi and Jack). I was afraid one or the other would drop the ball but so glad they didn’t.
This is the third book I have read in this series and I am loving everything about the characters!!! I want to go visit them at Pelican beach!!!! I feel like we are already friends!!!
In this third of the series, Payton and Cole are preparing to marry, Rebecca and Ethan are ready to welcome their baby, and Cole's mother Alice is falling in love.
Series needs to be read in order, as it's basically one continuous story published as 5 separate books.
I loved the continuing story of the Matthews family! Great story line, great characters, immense amount of love in this family! Start to finish in 3 days!
As with the previous two, I loved the story line. I did however feel like this one jumped ahead a little to fast for me, but I am onto the next episode.
These books aren’t something I’m super obsessed with, but I’m surprisingly enjoying them. They’re all running together like they’re one book and they’re all really short (150-170 or so pages) and so it’s nice to rack up my book count.
