Since then, Leona has enjoyed writing erotica in almost every genre possible.

OMG!!!

I don't know where to start!! I am upset with the ending but hope book 4 will be a happier ending. This is a wonderful story by an incredibly talented set of authors. I am just so shocked right now.

Omg!!!!

One of my all time favorite series and as usual I was engaged from word one.Although I didn't think it was possible to become more obsessed and invested in this addictive tale or in my beloved alpha, anti hero ,super sexified villian maverick and his woman,well....that day has arrived. Now I am left wondering how ever will I survive this cliffhanger!. Leona!!! What are you doing to me woman! Although I still love you,I must admit to an unbridled level of frustration.I am simply praying that the statement at the end ,that Bound Conquered was coming soon, is accurate. Yes,this is me begging....

2 reasons

The only reasons for this not being a 5 star book is 1: yet again no warning that this book ends on a cliffhanger and 2 the length of time it took for this book to come out. I’m talking years and years. I AM NOT EXAGGERATING! Other than that it did not disappoint. Now had I known I would have to wait for another book I would not have read it. With that being said It is non-stop action packed, character driven, mole finding yummy filled goodness. Could not put it down! I am not kidding and I would whole heartedly recommend, but I have no idea how many books are in the series and even remotely when the next is expected. Annnnd the only reason that matters is because this book wakes up the senses. I am not reading the words I’m in the story standing next to Cage and Autumn. The book had slight editing errors, but no where near enough to bring you out of the story. In fact it is not like your usual ones, but where I can see what the original sentence looked like and what they want it to look like now. Only a couple, please, don’t let that be a deterrent. So hear I am like a poor shmuck in a book coma dying for the next book and crossing my fingers it is not going to take an obscene amount of time. Read with caution this story will suck you in, devouring it in a sitting just to find out what is going to happen next. Oh and can I just say I was pissed at Cage and right when I was about to tell Autumn to get it he would redeem himself by explaining where he was coming from. On the flip side I wanted to knock some sense in that girls head and tell her to stop letting her mind get distracted. It was constant even during gunfire! But the couple is still love able in all their imperfections and stubbornness.

So good I read it in one sitting!
Didn't think the author could top her previous books but boy was I wrong.
Hope the next one will be longer though cause I can't get enough of Autumn and Cage [fire emoji]
Please have it released this year, thank you! Can.not.wait.

9/14/2023 I am revising my review due to book four in this series. Book four was absolutely unreadable. The number of grammar errors was ridiculous. My rating has gone down to a two star....I feel like I wasted my time and didn't get an ending to a series.

So we continue with Cage and Autumn's story and even though Cage is out of prison he is facing some major rebuilding of his empire and constantly is being surprised by the Mole and how he keeps finding them. Autumn wants to be more involved, so of course she is now training to so she can be more of an asset to Cage.

The writing style has gone from third person, a mixture of third person and first person to pretty much first person in this book. Strange progression. Lots of violence graphic scenes and some decent sex. The weird thing throughout this whole series so far is how annoyed I am with the standoffish characters, but how much I can't stop reading. I will say that I did like this third book the best so far and the ending was not what I had expected and definitely a clift hanger that leaves you with a lot of questions. Not sure where we go from here, so that will be interesting to find out. Plus I didn't know there was a 4th book until reading book three. Now I am wondering if this series will stop with four books. We shall see.

I am giving this one 3.5 stars for good writing, although a bit jumpy in places, but a few grammar errors knocked down the rating. I will definitely be reading book four.

Although I did enjoy this book, I was quite annoyed with Cage.

The authors may have implied earlier on that Cage is a monster, because lets face it, no sane man will kidnap a woman and kill her fiancé all because he simply wanted her. It was also implied that he has obviously SA'd Autumn because she admits in the first book how her body has adapted to be prepared for him even if her mind isn't. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that he was also physically violent towards her, although this wasn't shown in the first 2 books. However, in this book, we see him be physically hurting Autumn.

And how does Autumn react? By wondering how pissed off he is and getting more upset that when he finally took her, he was rough and didn't bother with her pleasure. Surely, this just struck as strange to me. In first 2 books, although there are times he's bery abrupt, we've also seen his gentle caring side towards Autumn. So for someone who loves Autumn and wants her safe, he surely didn't hold back on his anger.

At least the story moved along and Cage finally found out who the mole is.

Ok, I really liked this book—it had fresh energy and didn’t give me the same tired “he kidnapped me and now my body’s betraying me” nonsense. We skip all that and jump in two years into her captivity, which was actually kind of brilliant. And Cage? A villainous billionaire with issues? Yes, please. That’s my favorite flavor.

BUT. This is where an editor could’ve worked magic. Not just for typos, but for sentence flow and idea clarity. Some parts had me rereading like, “wait, what just happened?” With a solid edit, this would’ve been an easy 4-star read. Still, I’ll probably read the next one because Cage is that guy.

Cage & Autumn

This is another good interesting story with cage kick butt and taken names and Autumn try her best to be all she can be in Cage world, but a mole is in his organization. And keep him and Autumn safe. I can't wait for the next part in this series..
