End Zone is part of Kristen Proby's With Me in Seattle Universe.

What happens when your soulmate leaves when you need him most?

Katie gave herself to Garret, her brothers’ best friend and then he walked out of her life a few days later. She’s never gotten over him and she’s never moved on. When she gets the phone call that her dreams are made of, she starts her new life in Seattle. As a cheerleader for the Seattle Football Club. Maybe it’s time for Katie to move on, finally.

Garret went through hell years ago and regrets leaving Katie behind, but he needed to get away from the memories surrounding him. He went to college and has now been offered a coaching job for his favorite team. And there’s not one day that he doesn’t think about Katie.

When these two meet on and off the field the chemistry is off the charts, but with their past and the no dating the cheerleader rule, life is about to become interesting.

Can Katie forgive Garret for leaving her? Does she trust he will stay this time? Will her heart survive another break-up? Is she prepared to give up the job of her dreams for the man she loves?

Part of the Quick Snap series that is set in the With Me in Seattle universe by Kristen Proby. This is the first book that I have read from this author and it won’t be the last. Loved this quick sports romance. Katie and Garret were so good together. They shared one wonderful night and she thought that was going to be the start of something special, but she was wrong. A tragedy took all that away. He never forgot about her and thought he wouldn’t ever have another chance. Fate had different plans. Could he find a way to get forgiveness or is it too late? Great read

End Zone is a novella that will hit you right in the feels. Noir gave us a couple that belong together but sometimes the hurt and pain can tear you apart. My heart hurt for these two but by the end I was breathing a sigh of relief.

I know this is a novella, so it is meant to be short and quick paced story, but I did not like it. Part of it might be because I can't follow the timeline.

The book starts with Katie in high school (I am assuming) and Garret is 5 years older than her. It is her birthday and they finally have sex (doesn't sound like they dated before, just jumped right in...). Only a major event occurs and it causes Garret to leave their home town without talking to Katie.

Jump forward 4 years....Katie gets her dream job as a cheerleader for the Seattle football team and Garret gets a jobs as running back coach for the same Seattle football team. They haven't seen each other since Garret left town and they meet up at a bar while out in Seattle without realizing they both work for the same team. They eventually see each other at a game and realize they work together. They start a relationship.

I think my main issue is it appears both of them graduated college at the same time, but how is that possible...Garret is 5 years older? And how does Garret get running back coach at a major football team right out of college without any experience? Assistant coach, sure; a minor league coach, probably more likely. But a team that just won 2 super bowls, would that really happen? (That being said I dont watch football and know little about it, but just does not seem realistic).

Overall, I might be nitpicking about minor plots lines (it is a novella after all). But for some reason I focused on them and that is probably since I did not like the chemistry between the two of the characters. They are "meant to be", so they are, but I didn't see it. It might be because the story starts right into a sex scene between the two and you get backstory during the sex. Which just seems weird also.

Any who, I could just be having an off day when I read this, but that is what I thought....sorry.

I received a free ARC copy in exchange for a honest review.

Katie loves Garret but suddenly he is gone without explanation. Her whole life is turned upside down and now she doesn't have Garret to be with her through it.

Later by chance they both end up in Seattle. He's a coach with the Seattle football team and she is one of their cheerleaders. He has never stopped thinking about her, about loving her. She still loves him too but he hurt her deeply. She had decided to never let anyone but her in that position again.

Will Katie accept that Garret still loves her and won't ever leave her? Will they have issues working on the same team? Will their bosses allow it?

Katie is a strong character. Her life fell apart in so many ways all at once. She found her strength and moved forward with her life. Garret's life was also shattered but he too eventually found a way to overcome his past.

End Zone is a quick read with a happily ever after. It runs you through quite a few emotions. I felt sucker punched at the beginning of the story. You can't help but feel for Katie and Garret. Garret struggles to win Katie back and you will be rooting for them. They are soulmates from the beginning and watching their second chance is heartwarming. After the h*ll they went through they definitely deserved to be together. The feelgood ending was worth the concern as a reader I felt. If you are looking for a quick read romance, this book is the answer.

End Zone is Katie and Garrett’s story and is a part of Kristen Proby’s With Me In Seattle World.
Garrett was Katie’s brothers best friend and they have been around each other ever since they were young.
As feelings grew, one day they acted on their feelings and things couldn’t of been any better.
Until 5 days later, when their worlds came crashing down and Garrett decides to walk away.
Several years later, a chance meeting leads to Katie going home with Garrett for just one night.
Unbeknown to Garrett he didn’t realise how serious Katie was when she said they would only spend one night together, then walk away out of each others lives for good.
The next morning Garrett is not happy with just one night with Katie, he decides he will do anything to get the only girl he’s ever loved back.
But will Katie be able to move on from the past and forgive Garrett for leaving her all those years ago when she needed him the most.
Read End Zone now to find out!

Katie has always had a crush on her brother's best friend Garret and finally gives herself to him hoping he will always be with her. But a sudden tragedy throws her life upside-down and Garret doesn't know how to deal with it and takes off when she needs him the most.
Years later, both get a chance at their dream jobs and come across one another. Old feelings come rushing back but the trust Katie had for Garret is broken. He works hard to prove his neverending love for her and promises to always be there for her and never leave again. He even risks his dream job to prove his devotion to her.
This book had me crying and laughing and crying again. The emotions felt so real I almost felt I was a part of the story. This is yet another great read from Lexi.
Can't wait for her next book!

Sweet second chance between Katie and Garret, who first got separated because of a tragedy. Too much chemistry for them to stay apart, likable characters, fast paced, easy to read story.

I enjoyed this story. It took my emotions on a roller coaster ride. They went from happy to sad and right back to happy. I got really frustrated at some parts with the way the characters choose to handle certain situations but loved the fact that the ending was happy. I received an ARC copy of this story from the author and am leaving a voluntary honest review.

Katie & Garret had SOOO MUCH history to get through to find their HEA. I really enjoyed being part of their journey and watching them both grow and see their past through each others eyes. These two had so much chemistry and there was no possible way they could stop being near each other!!!

Awesome second chance read! After a life changing event, Katie suddenly finds herself alone. She thought she had her brother’s best friend, Garret, to depend on but he’s left without any explanation. Katie is heartbroken but pulls herself together to fulfill her dream of being part of a football cheerleader. She finally accomplishes her dream only to see Garret in a club her first night in her new town.

Garret has regretted his decision to leave Katie without any explanation but he felt he needed to do it after what happened. He needed to find himself and follow his dream in order to be a better person. Garret can’t believe his eyes when he sees Katie at the club. After apologizing for his actions he realizes how they affected Katie and how much he’s going to have to earn her trust again and prove that this time he’s here to stay.

This book was very emotional for various reasons. Katie was independent and strong and went after what she wanted. Garret was a sweetheart and after learning why he had to leave Katie, and how he tried to earn her trust again, that came through again. Loved this read and looking forward to reading more from Lexi.

2nd chance romance. Young love ends in heartbreak but chance brings them back together in the same city. Katie had to face many hardships in her life including death of her brother and her mother's alcoholism but it helped her to move to Seattle and start over and find her true love again.

Received this book as an arc for a review.

End Zone was a second chance romance where the H of the story was a college football player turned coach and h is a cheerleader who just got hired as a cheerleader for the same team. There is so much I started to write about this story and couldn’t as I didn’t want to ruin this book for anyone. End Zone is a quick short read that is about two soulmates finding each other again and about overcoming all their issues. Caleb had screwed up the first time and was determined to never do it again. Katie was scared of getting hurt by Caleb again and about losing her job as there was a clause about fraternization. You will have to read this book to find out what happens. Will they get back together and make it work this time? Can Katie forgive Caleb? Would the new issues they are facing be too much? Will they both be able to work around the football leagues no fraternization clause in both their contracts? All of these questions will be answered in End Zone. End Zone is a wonderful book on love. Lexi Noir did a good job on being able to capture your attention and kept it. Lexi created two people who have their own problems and how miscommunication and assumptions can impact others and their relationships. This book will put your emotions through a ringer and will keep you guessing. Even though it is a quick read you will be fully able to enjoy it. Loved the epilogue and how it all ends. Highly recommended. Hope you enjoy it.

Unfortunately that is not how things turn out, and Garrett moves on leaving Katie devastated and she has sworn never to give her heart to anyone ever again. When fate intervenes and they both end up working on the same football team, garret is the coach while Katie is one of the cheerleaders. can Garret redeem himself and convince Katie to give him a second chance so they both have the HEA they deserve?

Garret was Katie’s brothers’ best friend. They shared a sweet special night together and she fell hard and thought they might have something but tragedy hit and it ripped them apart. Garret left and it crushed Katie. Years later fate brings them back together but will they find happiness? A sweet second chance romance about dealing with life and death and love. I loved both characters and they had lots of chemistry and were meant to be together. I love Lexi’s books and this one was a nice quick read. I was given an arc in exchange for a voluntary review.

This was Another great read in the Quick Snap Novellas. Garrett and Katie were a thing when Katie was young. Garrett was the love of her live and she was his. A tragedy happened and Garrett left. A few years later they run into each other. They don’t know that they both have a job working for the same team.

Garrett does a ton of graveling in order to get Katie to trust him, but she finally does and a HEA is found by both.

Another quick read that takes place in the Seattle series world. Katie and Garrett reunited after years apart. They both experienced loss and had to deal with it separately but found each other years later. They are soul mates and once they worked through their hurt from each other, the chemistry was on fire. Great quick read. I can't wait to read more from this series.

I really liked Katie and Garrett's story. Their story should have been a full length book. This story wasn't a novella type of story but more of a full book.

I'm giving this book 3 stars because the time frames through out the book didn't match up. I wasn't sure if the Settle football team was college or pro until the end and the age difference between the characters didn't align.

A second chance love story. The road to true love hasn’t been easy for Katie and Garrett a tragedy pulled them apart but fate had put them back together years later. Can Garrett fix what he did to Katie years ago. I have throughly enjoyed this book it’s the first by Lexi Noir and I’m loving it completely.

This one was a good read, I just felt it was a little rushed at parts, some things felt lacking.. they had this history that impacted them so much, but they never really talked about it, or how they dealt with getting over it..
