Who can pass up a box set? Not me. Especially if you want everything in one spot and no waiting on the author to bring out the next book. Try as you might, but if you love bear shifters and their soft spot for their feisty women once they get their claws into them. This is the box set. 4 books, 4 bears shifters, who own the mountain resort in which they reside in. And their soon to be mates. Once they all get their lives straightened out and danger out of the way. Adventure, tons of action, and romance.

NATHAN
This is a well written fun book that flows well and kept me engaged looking forward to the other brothers stories.
Nathan is one of the Strauss brothers bear shifters that own the Black Bear Lake Lodge he works as the handy man around the lodge because he enjoys the work when he was younger a ran with a clan led by Rawley but he left as Rawley was becoming too depraved for his tastes. Now he and his brother have a pact they will never start anything with any of the guests at the lodge but that all goes out the window when Nathan realises that Alanna is his mate. She has her own problems Rawley is determined that she will be his sixth wife an a member of his harem but she said no so he has held her younger brother captive to force her to comply. Will Nathan be able to keep her safe and rescue her brother will his brothers become involved Will they all survive You will have to read to see
ERIC
Another great fun read in this fun series about the Strauss brothers who own Black Bear Lake Lodge in Colorado a lodge that is popular with shifters due to the wide open spaces and the fact that the Strauss brothers are all bear shifters themselves. This is Eric the second brothers story. Eric met his mate when he was still in school but when he told Lydia he though she was his mate she fled with no explanation breaking his heart. He has since dated and is recently split from Michelle another bear shifter Now Lydia is returning and this time he is determined to keep her. What he doesn't know is that Michelle is also a powerful witch and is determined he will be hers So she cast a spell on him and takes Lydia prisoner He now believes she is his mate Can his brothers save him and Lydia before the unthinkable happens and he bonds with her.
CODY
This is the third book in this series and this time we get Cody Strauss the billionaire bears story He works as a chef at the Black Bear Lodge that he and his brothers own. Cody is deeply attracted to Jessie one of the maids at their lodge in fact he wonders if she could be his ate the attraction is so strong but she won't go out with him in fact she is keeping a secret She found 6 abused and chained bear cubs and she Rescued/stole them and is raising them as her own and she doesn't want anyone to know that she has them. What she didn't expect was that Cody when he meets them would love them just as much as her and when the sleuth who she stole them from close in ion her he will have to step up and keep his potential new family safe.
CONNOR
This is the final book in the Strauss brother series a series that has been about 4 brothers who are ear shifters and own a lodge in the wilderness. If you haven't read the previous books do yourself a favour and read the, you won't be disappointed. Connor is the only brother who hasn't found his mate but hes very interested in Brooke a woman that works for them and continually teases her Meanwhile the brothers are having to contend with the wolf shifters encroaching onto their land. When a altercation takes place between the bears and the wolves he fights with the alpha of the wolf pack and injures her Imagine his surprise when Brooke turns up at work with the exact same injuries Is there something about her he doesn't know and has the work out a tentative peace between the rival shifters who is going after not only Brooke but the Strauss brothers as well

This is the perfect way to keep this collection together if you are already a reader of Brittany's or a perfect way to introduce yourself to her work if your not

2 1/2 - 3 Stars

I can't make up my mind whether to give this 2 1/2 or 3 stars.

This is a box set of four books about a family of bear shifters--brothers Connor, Nathan, Cody and Eric Strauss--who own and operate a successful resort in Colorado. Each brother is featured in his own book, and each book centers on how each brother finds his mate and falls in love.

And judging by the Strauss brothers, falling in love is a violent, bloody undertaking.

I have to admit that I didn't really enjoy these stories. (Hence, the 2 1/2 or 3 star dilemma.) I'm not a huge fan of paranormal romance. I need solid world-building and character development in order to suspend disbelief enough to accept people shifting into bears and wolves, and the presence of witches who throw magic around. These books didn't give me that.

Cody was my absolute favorite. He was funny and sarcastic. He gets a star all by himself. (The fact that I learned that a group of bears is called a sleuth gets a star. What? I'm big on learning.) I liked Connor, too. He was the epitome of what a big brother and an alpha should be IMO.

I think the only female I didn't like was Brooke. Even though she was attracted to Connor, she was jealous of him and his brothers; so she goes off on him in a lounge full of people. I also couldn't stand the way her character kept talking about how she could take Connor in a fight. I usually don't look for reality in my fiction, but from what I read, there is no way a lone wolf is going to fight a healthy full-grown bear and survive. ( I blame the author for a lack of search here.)

Each of the brothers had to deal with some kind of danger or threat in order to get his HEA. Unfortunately, the villains in these stories bordered on cartoonish. I could picture Vince--the bad guy in Connor's book--sneering, leering, and rubbing his hands/paws together like a Disney villain, and he wasn't the only one.

The typos and inconsistencies were just ridiculous. For example, at the end of Nathan's book, we're supposed to be getting an introduction to Eric's situation. Here, were told the his love interest is named Tamara. In Eric's book, her name is Lydia. Then, at the end of Eric's book, we're told the name of Cody's love interest--Nicole. In his book, her name is Jessie.

Seriously? WTF?

Then, there are sentences with words missing; there are words misspelled; the wrong words are used sentences (think there/they're/their). I shouldn't have to work hard to try to figure out what a sentence means.

I've read some good PNR. This wasn't one of them.

I found this collection discounted on Amazon via Bargainbooksy; this is my honest review. 2.5 stars
TRIGGER: Black Magic
-First and foremost, it's categorized a PRN Romance. Mostly wars, battles, magic when unexpected, bringing down the house literally, violence, deaths, etc. PRN yes, romance no. The situations are fantastic, bordering on unbelievable.
-Second most important, the author doesn't know how to write, forgets words, doesn't know male from female - she vs. he, or one person from the other - even the mates' names changed from one book to the other, possessives vs. verbs - you're vs. your, puts the wrong verb in the action - laughing vs. crying, etc. Put your money in editing! It's distressing to read.
-I gave 3 stars to both Nathan and Eric's stories; then I gave 2 stars to Cody and Connor's.
-Jessie was mostly interested in Cody's money. It showed all through the story, even at the end she said she was happy she could finally decorate her house; Cody said finally our family is under one roof - big difference. She also steals from her bosses with no compunction.
-Brooke and her wolves thought they were owed a piece of Connor's lodge and land. Why? It's his family's and they have been there for over 200 years. The mating thing was a bit too fast IMO, like she was scared he would change his mind. Everything seemed off.

What a wonderful series of books. Billionaire bear shifters is about four brothers all bear shifters all extremely handsome, and extremely wealthy. They could probably do anything they want but they have chosen to run Black Bear Lodge. From the description in the book it is the best of the best, beautiful lodgings, wonderful scenery, everything from a spa to a five-star restaurant, and shops right there to serve your every need. Each brother had a job to do Eric Strauss was the youngest and the concierge, Nathan was the handyman, and Cody‘s place was in the kitchen as head chef, it was Connor who really ran things, he was the Alpha and pretty much pulled it all together. There are four books in the series one about each brother, and finding their mates. None of them had an easy task of it, secrets, possible war, fighting, and just trying to keep the lodge safe. I this is my first time reading this author Brittany White, and I will read more of her stuff, I really enjoyed this book and I recommend it.

Four Bears four mates for love.
I read every one of these books, Nathan, Eric, Cody and Conner. I fell in love eight times. In love with each bear and each mate. Usually you'll get a series and you'll have a favorite book, one that was good and a so so book. But in this series i loved every single book. I also love the comrodity between the brothers. Their antics were hysterical. I read every book I can by Brittany White. She is an amazing author. Her shifter books are five star plus reads. I highly recommend this incredible series and this phenominal author. Don't forget, if you want to read a series you can't put down, you have to pick it up first. Don't miss a great and entertaining reading experience.

Didn't care for the stories about the last two brothers

The writing, especially in Cody's story, was sloppy. When the author described a car, it was first described as a Carolla. I assume this was meant to be a Toyota Corolla. Shortly afterward, the same car was called a Camry. Sloppy. I was most annoyed when the author seemed confused about the characters, who was doing what, and which pronoun to use in place of the character's name. I finished the 4 stories, but I am unlikely to select other books from this author.

Good read

I liked the stories. The one fail I found was how the death of one of the bears in his group was handled. As an alpha to let that go in answered was an epic fail. I just do not feel that was handled like a death unprovoked should have been dealt with especially so violent. Other than that having the lodge always closing to fix one area was a but much lol especially considering how often it happened. Seems like they really were pushovers and not the powerhouse they were supposed to be.

I read all these books separately and think it's wonderful that they are now in a box set. Each book can be read individually. The books are fast paced sexy romances where the hero has to work for his HEA and each couple more than deserves their happiness together. If your looking for some great paranormal romance these books are definitely for you, but be prepared for a sleepless night, because once started you may feel compelled to read them all in one go.

Fighting for their mates

This group of brother bear shifters have redone an old lodge and made it into a destination location for all well off shifters and humans. Now that the lodge is doing well and they're not going to loose their investment they start getting restless. Each in turn finds a mate but getting to keep them isn't easy and each needs help keeping their mate. Good adult read.

I LOVE box sets for binge reading. So far I've only read Cody, but I am looking forward to the other three.
Cody: Allow a full, long morning for this NC17 chase when Jessie Marquez rescues six bear shifter cubs and finds work at the Black Bear Lake Lodge. Cody Strauss, the head chef, is smitten. I read an ARC and this voluntary review is my own opinion.

This is a great box set ! I love these four bear shifter brothers who run a resort in Colorado. One by one they find their mate. Some come unexpectedly and others come from past relationships. Each one will have their own trials, fights, suspense and romance. Best of all they are all in one spot and you don’t have to wait for the next one to come out.

The Strauss Brothers stories are each fantastic love stories with the background of Black Bear Lake - it's a really interesting set.

The brothers

This was a wonderful book that I enjoyed reading. At first I was most happy reading about Nathan and Alana but then Eric and Lydias story was before me. Cody and Jessica story was just as fabulous but my new favorite was Brooke and Conner. This really was a great series!!!

Plenty of hot sex scenes and different story lines. If you like hot shifters with a soft side then this is a series for you

Finding their mates

What a delightful set of books which I thoroughly recommend to any reader that enjoys love romance and adventure. Handsome billionaire bear shifters who without even trying to find mates who seem to have trouble as well. Well thought out stories with great plots.

The stories were good, but the writting-editing needs work. Names in wrong places, he-she in wrong places, question Mark's at end of sentences with no question in them. Wrong words used. Sentences that make no sence.
The last book Connor was the best as far as fewest mistakes.

Billionaire bears box set was a good read. The transition between Nathan's book and Eric's book female character had a different name. Her name at the end of Nathan 's book was TAMALA and in Eric's book her name is Lydia.
