Born of Metal

A powerful artifact, a secret society, an ancient evil. Can Ibby embrace her destiny as Inconquo guardian before an ages-old demon is unleashed on London?
Ibby’s parents gave up everything for a chance at a better life. So, after a terrible accident leaves her alone in London, Ibby works her internship at the British Museum and goes to her classes to make them proud.
But when Ibby finds a strange artifact and encounters a mysterious professor in the bowels of the museum, she learns that her lineage means bigger responsibilities than good grades. Training in the secrecy of a ghostly underground tube station defunct since 1933, her waking powers means Ibby must face the wrath of a titan with a vendetta against her kind...and she has to do it alone.

Metal Guardian

Guardians don't get a choice between dreams and duty. When something terrible stirs...duty calls.
With the help of her best friend Jackie and Uncle Irshad, her only remaining family, Ibby has rebuilt a normal life after the chaos of the year before when she discovered she was Inconquo––a metal-shaping, iron-slinging guardian.
But a normal life is too much to ask for someone wielding the power Ibby has.
When a secret society with sinister intentions returns to resurrect the original Inconquo, a bloodthirsty demi-god of mythic proportions...Ibby steps to the front lines. Stakes rise when she discovers treachery among her trusted peers and learns she’s not just fighting for herself and her family but everyone who has Inconquo blood running through their veins.
With so much on the line, Ibby looks for help wherever she can get it. When a hated enemy comes crashing back into her life, will Ibby make a deal with the devil in the hopes that she can stop the apocalyptic awakening?

Metal Angel

Every family has history, but hers might be the end of the world as we know it…
Ibukun “Ibby” Bashir is Inconquo, an inheritor of ancient power and with it an unending duty to stand against the darkness. She can bend and shape metal to her will, but she is still only human, she feels and bleeds. A fragile guardian, still she stands.
Uncovered after thousands of years, the dark foundations that make her who and what she is begin to rise again. The progenitor, the very first of her bloodline, stirs fitfully––Ninurta, Founder of Kalhu, Hunter before the Gods, Warrior without Match. If he has his way, he will reshape the world with iron, fire, and blood.
Her mentor stolen away and her friends falling around her, Ibby knows too well what she faces. Merciless conspiracies, ancient horrors, treacheries old and new, all are arraigned against a young woman who only wants to see her broken family safe. But with grit, pluck, and a will of iron she is going to save the world, or die trying.
It’s not the path she might have chosen, but what can she do? It is the family business.

Fabulous Series! Wonderful characters struggling to figure themselves out and to protect the ones they love. A very entertaining read!

Born of Metal - Excellent! Ibby is an immigrant with a sad story struggling to succeed and take care of what is left of her family. Then she makes a discovery and things get weird fast. Lots of action and interesting characters. And it looks like the fun & games are just getting started!

Metal Guardian - Great Read! Ibby has become proficient with her powers and finally gotten her family together. But a safe, normal, life is not in the cards. Lots of action and intrigue where it is hard to tell friend from foe. I am looking forward to the final book in this entertaining series.

Metal Angel - Marvelous! Don’t mess with Ibby! She may be down, but she is never out. Amazing characters, twists, and action as Ibby and her friends & allies fight to stop armageddon. Great conclusion to an excellent series.

I have read this because I've accidentally discovered A.L.Knorr's Elemental novels and they instantly caught my interest! I am a fan of Fantasy/Urban Fantasy/sci-fi, and yet her universe felt like a breath of fresh air. This trilogy is a bit different than her main series, in the sense that it's more fast-paced and action-oriented (in this you can feel the touch of the other author - A.D. Schneider). It's also a sort of prequel, in the sense that it happens before her main series (Elemental Origins). Overall, I think it's a worthy read, especially if you like Fantasy, superpowers and combat scenes.

This trilogy gives me the vibes of the old Mummy series with the supporting characters and the general feel of the book. Or at least it gives me that vibe and makes me remember why I loved the mummy so much. These books are the same way you just can't put them down and if you get the audios they are just as rich and even more lively than when reading them. I highly recommend this series and the entire elemental series.

The Metal Angel

Wow! This author is amazing in his ability to create Ibby, an Incogno, a force of metals who dares to battle several demo gods on behalf of the world. She's the ultimate Guardian, a metal angel!

I can't wait to read more of Aaron D. Schneider's work as well as A L Knorr's works!

Good story

First book was really good. The second was still good but I felt that the last one played out like a superhero movie. It was still good but not for me. But I loved all the characters even Adrian Shelton with his meanness.
